Warning: too lazy to write one
Hey guys~ Thanks a ton for the comments. ^^ I don't have time to read them at the moment, seeing as I totally overslept and wasted time on AP! I sure know how to waste time with my mornings. In fact, I never really see the morning! I get out of bed after noon! I'm amazed at people that can wake up on their own free will at an early time. It's amazing. Anyhoo, thank you all for the sweet comments. :D I look forward to reading them later; I'm sure they're helpful, encouraging, and amusing! Thanks for being awesome friends. ^^
Yes, wow, what a short thanking paragraph today! Well, that's because, like I said...I took forever to get on here. Before I knew it, I woke up and looked at the clock...only to see it said 11:20! I then proceeded to lay there some more and try to wake up...I got up 10 minutes later, went to the bathroom, etc, and came on my computer at 11:40 something! Then I went in my usual order of things--check emails, go to AP if there was a message notification (which there was...so I was replying to a PM), check theO for comments there, and then I came here...but then I remembered that I didn't get to see the end of the All Star baseball game last night, so I had to check to see who won! Ok, so now here I am...to post about my boring life! I am truly amazed at how much I can write when I seriously have no life. But today's might be shorter...since I am short on time, and I don't know what to write about. :/ Hmm.
Well, first off, monday night we went out to eat! We went to this restaurant called 99, and it was pretty good. Not that great, but it was ok. I was sad because it wasn't that restaurant with the cute waiter guy...I wonder if we'll ever go back. *sigh* If we'll ever go back, and if he'll be there at all! Ugh! So anyway, the service was really quick (too quick; so quick that the waiter apologized for bringing it out so soon). I got some bbq chicken wrap thing...it wasn't that great. :/ Nothing was that great, but eh. Then after that, my dad took me inside this new ice cream and chocolate place. It's designed to look like a Swedish ski house or something; it's cute. It took us forever to decide what to get, although their only ice cream flavors are chocolate or vanilla. XD They have music playing, and on came "Uptown Girl." Hahaha...so I started singing it, and my dad supposedly hates that song, so he was telling me to stop. But it's so much fun. *laugh* It's one of those songs that get stuck in your head...like now...now that I've mentioned it, I'm singing it!! Nooooo....
Later that night was the all star home run derby. A player from our team, Chase Utley, took part in it. It's a shame...for many reasons. One, I didn't think he'd do well since he isn't the best home run hitter; two, when being introduced, the whole crowd booed him [New Yorkers hate us Phillies]; three, he made a fool of himself by not knowing there was a mic on him...thus proceeding to say, after the booing, "Boo? F*** you!" for the whole audience to here. Oh, and four, he lost in the first round of the derby, only getting 5 homeruns. :D So needless to say, he was a great (sarcasm) representative of our team. HERE is the vid of the cursing incident. People put the vid on youtube like 5 minute after it happened. XD
Yesterday...was another boring day...another day of being held captive (practically) at home with my brother. He now doesn't work on tuesdays, which totally sucks. *sigh* Now it feels like he never works! I need FREEDOM!! -__- I'm tired of his crap. Anyhoo, so that means I just watched anime all day...more and more...I certainly don't dislike that, it's just that if he weren't there, I'd be able to do what I want...like go on the computer, etc. Bah! So yeah, more new anime I've been watching--Emily of New Moon. It's really sweet and totally different from most anime. It's based in the 1800's on Prince Edward island or something, about this girl named Emily [voiced by Tomoko Kawakami, my favorite seiyuu...plays Misuzu, Sugar, Utena, etc.]. It's interesting and cute so I recommend it!
At night, there was the All Star baseball game! Once a year, the National League and American league put together teams of their best players (based off of fan votes...) and get together to play a game. Well, my team is in the NL, and Utley was in it. The NL usually loses every year...and we did again. :/ BUT! We gave up a huge fight! Tied games and went into extra innings for the longest AS game ever! It went into 15 innings that finally ended at past 1:30am. XD I didn't watch the end...I watched till 12:50 or so. The game started at 8:30, so yeah, holy crap...those poor guys having to play so long! Too bad our side lost.
Ok, this is getting longer than expected. I'd love it if you checked out my post on theO, but it's fine if you don't, too. I made a new e-card so comment if and when you can, thanks. ^^ Alrighty, sorry for this longer than I thought post...but I'm sure it was quite boring, too! Especially the baseball part.
