Hello, minna-san! *hugs* Arigatou for the comments! It's so nice to hear from all of you. :D Kittenlark, it's totally fine. I know what you're saying, and I'm glad you weren't offended. ^^;; *hugs* Welcome back to Emmah (yeah, we're lazy), snow girl (yay!), Stixx, and anyone else that I've missed in a long time! Although, I think I've been missing several people...as far as my commenting goes. :( Sorry. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to comment more. Anyhoo, thanks for the comments on my wallpaper, if you saw it (I posted that later), about my teachers and classes, and about whatever else I said! *hugs* Oh, and yeah, cassie, I was just lazy. I didn't feel like writing a subject. DX Tankies!
Ahah! So I bet you don't know where I am right now!! YOU DON'T!!! XD Cause I'm not in the library! If you remember what I said in my last post, I have today off from school. ^_^ It's my "fall break." Haha, what a joke. BREAK...I imagine having at least 3 days off or a week or something, but no. I have today off, and that's it. :/ It's better than nothing certainly, but come on! "Oh, but you have the weekend, too!" *rolls eyes* Well, DUH. We always have no school on the weekend, so that doesn't count! >< Oh well. I'm just going to enjoy it no matter what! Can't be greedy. So yeah, I'm here at home...in my room on my laptop, since I just woke up not too long ago. I would always post first thing in the morning during the summer, remember? So it was the same routine as this! Well, I've found that I don't particularly like using my laptop to do so...so I almost didn't want to post today. XD But I am! *hugs* As for my sleep, it went wonderfully. I had very strange and kinda crappy/scary dreams, but oh well. I just care that I slept...naturally. It's been like weeks since I took a sleeping pill, so that's a super accomplishment for me. <3
Alrighty, what to talk about...well, I guess I'll start with some points from the other day! I mentioned that there was a bulletin for me that Tempestt saw and said she'd get for me. Well, when I went to theology class, there she was with it, and I was like. O__o What could it be?? Lauren also said, "Yeah, it's been there for a couple of days. I'd walk by it and wonder if I should bring it to you in fashion..." well, that doesn't matter. Anyhoo, I opened it up, and it turned out to be 2 certificates. As Tempestt called them, "the nerd awards." ^^; In other words, they were the congratulatory certificate things for me getting on the Dean's List both semesters last year...so it's like getting distinguished honors or whatever in high school. I was happy, but not to sound too overconfident or spoiled, I wasn't excited. ^^; Good grades are things I can somehow always get...well, not always, but the majority of the time...so I have several certificates like that. I don't know where they are, but yeah. My mom and dad were really proud though. ^_^ NERD AWARDS. I'm good at getting those.
Yesterday I just had fashion. I love thursdays because that's my only class. :3 And what'd I do??? WELLLLLL, I finished my sweatshirt! It took the whole class time, but I finally finished it. I'm only the second girl in my class to do so~ When I tried it on first though, it was horrible. It was a huge unsightly sack. So I had to take in the sides an inch. DX After that, I found that the sleeves underarm parts were really bunchy and baggy...but oh well. I didn't want to sew and serge again. They'll just be really roomy. It's not like I'm going to wear this out! Although it looks pretty good (especially for my first sweatshirt), I'd only wear it at home. It's nice and warm, and I like my pocket on the front...I'll have to take a pic of it sometime. :3 I put it on the dress form (mannequin thing), and it looks great though! It looks better on that than on me. *laugh* Cause the dress form has a bigger bust, so it fills my sweatshirt out more than on me. ^^;;;;;;
At home, I watched some anime with my brother as usual...and then I actually worked on a new wallpaper!! I've been watching Amatsuki, and it has really hunky guys in it. O__O So I went on AP and had a downloading spree of Amatsuki scans. <3 The manga/artbook art is so much better than the animation, so yeah. I was like "preetttttyyyyy, I want to wall that." So I'm working on one of Bonten (much <333), which is turning out pretty well. I'm actually almost done...so it isn't a vector. I was just inspired, so yeah. But then there's this one really pretty scan that I might want to attempt to vector one day. *_* Cause it's so pretty. I wub those guys. Soooo yeah. [EDIT: I finished the wallpaper]
After that, and after dinner...it was finally time for the baseball game!!!!! >_< I had to wait 3 whole days for it...too long of a break for me. *laugh* And, wow, it was a tough game!!!! I was really getting worried that we'd lose because their pitcher was doing really well...and we were losing 0-2 for most of the time! But then, a lucky error, and then a couple homeruns later...and we were ahead 3-2. ^__^ And it stayed that way the rest of the time. One win down! In this series, you need to win the best out of 7 games, so that means 4. If my Phillies beat these Dodgers, then the next step is the World Series. They haven't made it that far in like 20 something years. XD So I'm gonna keep watching and hoping and cheering!
Did I say this would be a shorter post? Well, I lied, as usual. You know I suck at being concise. Today, my mom said that we'd probably go out and do some shopping for me~~ Because I'm out of reading materials, so I totally need to go to the book store and buy me some books and manga and wonderful goodness like that. <3 And also, I need to get my fabric and patter for our next sewing project in fashion---a skirt. I'm hoping to find a cute pattern of a long skirt...I don't wear minis, so I hope there's something longer, something my style. I'm thinking of maybe getting some black lace to overlay on top of the bottom fabric, too, you know...to give it more of a gothic look. <3 But we'll see what they have. And then at 4:00 is the baseball game...if we don't do that shopping, which is always a possibility (laziness), then I probably won't do anything today. :/
