no time for title!
Heyo~ How are my dear friends today?? :3 I wub you guys! Thanks for the comments from my last post...which always seems like forever ago after the weekend. XD I appreciate everything you said~~ Of course, I always do! :D Thanks for the comments on my new wallpaper [if you didn't see it, go to my last post], on my sweatshirt being done, getting my "nerd awards"...yeah, all sorts of good stuff. ^_^ Hey, people that haven't been here in a while!! Sesshlu, darke, and Koten! How nice to hear from you all again! <3 It's been a while~ And of course, welcome back to everyone else. Thankies.
Wow, I can't believe that I haven't posted in days...haha, although this is just how I do it now. I guess it feels like longer simply because I posted at home on friday since I had off! Yes, I had my "fall break" that consisted of one day. Such a waste. DX Except not...cause it was nice having an extra day to sleep. So now I'm back at school, in the library. It's rather warm today, and that makes me mad. XD Right when it started feeling like fall at last, the weather decides to make a turn for summer again!! Ugh. So I'm like really warm...since I have a long-sleeved shirt on underneath my t-shirt (<3 My Phillies one). Sure, I can roll up my sleeves, but I'm still warm! Darn you, weather! Become autumn again!! ;__; But knowing where I live, it'll go straight from summer temperatures to freezing winter ones right away. We rarely get nice intermediate ones when we should. :/ Oh well.
Bahhhh...I was just checking AP, to see how my newest wallpaper is doing there, and for some reason it says I have no rating. DX Like before, it was a B...and I would think it'd be the same or better, but now it says I have nothing!! >< So I'm really worried that maybe they disabled it on me for doing something wrong...? Cause now that's affecting my average rating and making it lower. ;___; I asked one of the mods about it, so I hope it's just some freaky error...I didn't do anything bad!! I asked one person to fave it because I faved their wallpaper, that's all. I hope that the nitpicky AP jerks don't find that wrong and be all like, "That's not allowed! You get punished!" ~__~ Whateverr...jerrrrkkksss...
Ok, so this morning I had fashion. Since I finished my sweatshirt last time, over the weekend I had to get my materials and pattern for my skirt, which is the next project. My mom and I went on saturday...I think...to get all that stuff. We took forever because I'm really indecisive when it comes to picking out fabric styles and whatnot. ^^;;; I first picked out this cool dark fabric...it's black and some navy and black patterns on it that look like flowers and leaves. It looks like watercolor painted on. :3 It's perdddy. So that was what I picked out first, but my mom said it looked too plain...too dark. :/ So we looked at all these other ones...and there were lots of cool styles, but I ended up sticking with my first choice! ^^ We had a tough time finding a good pattern...there were several, and I wanted to get one that wasn't too hard, but that was quite the task! Also, I was confused about the sizes because pattern sizes don't correspond to like sizes you buy in the store. And the smallest one I found was an 8, so I was like O___o BUT...then we figured out what I said, and that I'd actually be a 12 or 14 in these pattern sizes. My pattern calls for interfacing, a zipper, and twill tape, and there were problems with getting that stuff cause we didn't know what to get...so mom and I asked the people that worked there, and you'd THINK they would help, right??? NO. They didn't know anything!
Interfacing is used in the wasteband to keep it stiffer, and I needed a certain size that they didn't have. :/ So we asked them, "Well, what do you do if you don't have the right size?" The one girl didn't know, so she asked this other girl who also didn't know, and then she asked this lady who said, "Well...uh...give her more?" -__-; RIGHT. Ok...so who knows if I have the right amount of it; whatever! Anyhoo, so today I started on cutting out my pieces and whatnot. Lots of the girls complimented my fabric, saying it's really pretty. ^^= Guess I made the right choice. XD Um, me and this girl (the one that finished really early on her sweatshirt before) were talking a lot. We've never talked before today...because we found out that we're both Phillies fans. ^^;; And both lovers of Victorino and Hamels...*laugh* So we're competition. XD Anyhoo, we talked about the game last night, and we also talked about which guys on the team we like and don't. *laugh* We were such fangirls. It was fun. It was like, "eww, he's such a greasy slimeball!" or "Yeah, he's such a cutie! I love him! Why does he have a wife??" XD
Ok...so I have my chem lab after this, but first I need to eat. *is hungry* so I'd better write this quickly! This weekend was interesting, I suppose. On friday, I went with mom and dad to do some shopping; we didn't have enough time to go to the fabric store that day, which is why we went on saturday. However, we did go to Barnes and Noble. <3 So I got a couple manga and a new book to read ("Transformation" by Carol Berg). I got the Ace Attorney manga, which I was super excited to see!! ^__^ And also the new Petshop of Horrors volume. :3 Let's see...then we got home in time to watch the baseball game. <33 That game was good; we won!! Putting us ahead 2-0 in the series. Fantabulous~~ Then saturday, no game...went shopping like I said; I think that was the day I finished my wallpaper. Sunday...boring...I cleaned my room...cleaned everywhere, went on the computer...oh yeah, Oli-chan and I were chatting on MSN, and we were playing games on there together!! :D It was sooo fun! We'd never done that before. So we put together 2 jigsaw puzzles (darn you, Belgium and dandelions!), did a trivia game, and played tic-tac-toe and rock,paper, scissors. <3 It was a lot of fun. ^__^ Must've played for 2 hours. *laugh*
Sunday night was another baseball game. That one was horrible. :( So sad...poor Moyer. He totally got kicked around. DX And, well, I won't get detailed, but I'll say that there were some altercations with the pitchers and trying to throw the ball at certain hitters...and so the Dodgers thought we did it on purpose, so they decided to take it out on Victorino. Their pitcher, Kuroda, intentionally threw a pitch at his head. Luckily, he ducked out of the way...but he was so mad. After that inning, the benches cleared, and many guys wanted to fight. Luckily, no punches were thrown, no one was hurt, but it was a very tough game to watch. Obviously it was a loss. Other sad things, our Phillies' manager, Charlie Manuel, well, his mother passed away on friday. And on the same day, Victorino's grandmother also died. Very sad. :( But they're doing good, believing that their loved ones are watching them and helping them to win!
Yesterday I had chem and art, that's it. Theology was canceled since we have our midterm tomorrow (nooooo). In chem, we got back our tests. ^^;; I got a 99.4%...yeah...crazy, right? Lots of people failed...I kind of feel bad for doing so well. :/ I don't know how I do it either. So yeah, yay for that though!! In art, I just had fun. Drawing, drawing, drawing. Had to draw this ugly statue in the library...it turned out well, although I think it looks like Abe Lincoln, instead of an African statue. XD Hahaa...umm...nothing else happened! Watched the baseball game last night, which was VERY tough. it was scary...I thought we were going to lose so badly, but because of Victorino and Stairs, we won!! <333 Two 2-run homeruns in the same inning. Sweetnesssss. So I was able to be happy going to bed. XD Cause the game ended after midnight. Oh, I made a new ecard. Some of you saw it already; thanks! If you didn't, here it is~
