Bleh...I feel kinda sick. D: I think it's because I'm hungry, and I really need food...but I want to post first. I know; I'm so dedicated. I just don't want to eat at the library's nice computers and spill stuff on them and whatnot. XD So I gotta wait a bit! Hmm...well, it's a very chilly day today! And it's cloudy; it's supposed to rain later...but now I don't know. It's cloudy, but the clouds don't look like rain ones! We haven't had rain in a while, so I want some!! But yeah, chilly outside and hot inside. I wish that school would just have a real temperature regulation...you can never be comfortable. :/ I just had fashion, and it was quite warm in there...ugh...
In fashion, I worked on my skirt. Well, I didn't get much done. ~__~ I had to cut out the interfacing (hardens/strengthens fabric) for the yoke (like a waistband on the skirt), and then I had to iron it on. I had to wait forever to use the iron...and then when I did it...I did it kinda wrong. :/ Like there were all these bunches! DX So Sister had me try to redo it! Instead, I made the wrinkles/bunches WORSE. -__-; So she had to come and help me...we had to take the interfacing off and re-iron it on...and then she tried ironing the other side better, and she also made it worse. XD It's too hard! Yeah, so after that, I had to sew the two sides of the yoke together, and then the rest of the time I was pinning it onto my skirt. Oh wait, but first...before I did any of this, I had to REDO MY PLEATS. D: I had to take them all out and redo them because somehow they came apart...or I didn't do them right the first time. *sigh* Sewing sure can be a pain (but fun)! I was supposed to get my zipper in today, but there was noooo way I had time...so that'll be for thursday.
Now most of the girls in my class realize that I love the Phillies, along with that other girl Katie, so today some of them were asking us for our favorite players and whatnot...and like stuff about the World Series. They don't know anything. ^^; I just don't like being put on the spot...and I think it's funny that all of a sudden they're interested simply because the Phillies are winning and in the World Series. There was an article in the paper today about, "Don't know the Phillies? Just getting into them now? Here's what you should know!" Jeez, just jump on the bandwagon why don't ya! I think it's fine that more people are liking them (and baseball in general) here in my area, but it's just not right that they only care when they win...I was with them, watching every game, through wins AND losses all year. DX Bah. Anyhoo...world series starts tomorrow! <333
Let's see...this weekend. I don't believe I did anything very interesting, but I think on saturday, yeah...saturday, we went out to eat. Corey was working, but we went to meet D (oldest bro) and his girlfriend Susan. :3 She's so sweet. Sooooo cute and bubbly but a little on the ditzy dumb side. ^^; But anyhoo, she and D went together that day to get facials. Yeah, my brother got a facial with her. XD What a fun date! Haha, so she thought it was going to be a relaxing thing, but it ended up being terrible!! They described it as torture...with these asian ladies jabbing at their skin, scraping off stuff, and giving a "massage" that was more like being stabbed in the neck. XD They said that they came out looking worse than when they went in...and I could agree! They had several pimples everywhere. ^^; And I'm pretty sure those weren't there that morning! Poor things...but they still had fun...cause they went together! Suffering together for the sake of love! FACIALS!
Haha...I don't think I'll ever get a facial. Have any of you? Do any of you get manicures or pedicures done? I don't, although getting a manicure might be nice...since my nails are really long. Hmm...but I just don't trust other people with stuff like that. XD Who knows what they'll do!
Ok, yesterday...I had...chemistry, art, and then theology. Chem was boring as usual with taking notes and whatnot...but we're all VERY confused about whether we have a quiz tomorrow or not. ^^;;; I hope we don't, but I'll have to study in case. Why are we confused? Because our idiot teacher said, "If you were absent, there was a quiz wednesday." Ok...past tense, right? But, well, we didn't have a quiz last wednesday...so what does she mean? Does she really mean, "If you were absent last class, I said there was a quiz THIS wednesday?" ^^; No one knows...but a girl in her other class said that she said there is going to be a quiz tomorrow!! DX So is that right? Is my teacher just such an idiot that she can't get her tenses right?? I better study tonight just in case...but gawd...I wish she would clarify!
Art was ok. Nothing really happened. We had our portfolios checked out, and Sister Trinita says that I have an A. :3 But she's so swee that I don't think she gave anyone lower. XD In theology we got our tests back (midterms), and...well...^_^; I don't know how I do it! I JUST DON'T KNOW. I SWEAR I did terribly! I swear I did. I totally thought I sucked...failed...got lots wrong...so...why?? WHY??? I got a 100%. ~__~ Well, technically I got a 90, but there was extra credit and a curve...so I got a 100. *sigh* I mean, ok, that's amazing. I'm very relieved that I did well, but I don't know how I did it! I always think I do poorly, but somehow I do great. And I feel bad because sooo many people failed...or did so bad...she's giving this extra credit assignment of a term paper that will give 20 extra points on the midterm grade, and she said that for some, that extra 20 won't even bring them to passing. :( man, that sucks...I'm always afraid to tell people what grade I got because I think they'll be mad at me. ^^;
Umm...at home...nothing happened, I don't think. Did homework...yeah, nothing really. :/ So I guess that's all I have to talk about. I have my chem lab next, but first I need to eat! *thinks* Yesh, I definitely have nothing else to mention. Hopefully this post wasn't too boring. I would post an AMV, but youtube hates me on the library computers, and barely anyone watches them anyway...so yeah. :3 *hugs* Thanks for visiting me!! Do take care!!
