Hey!! My dear friends! :3 Happy Halloween~ I hope you're all doing well. Thanks for the comments~ I really appreciate them!! ^_^ You're all awesome for still visiting me. XD I've been friends with some of you for 2 years, and I'm amazed that we're still in contact! Welcome back, Roleni-chan! :D Kita, Angelbest, and everyone else that has been absent for some time~~ Yug, it's great seeing you 2 times in a row, too!! Hooray~ Thanks again. Yes, I think in the rest of my post I'll end up touching on certain points that were made in your comments...so arigatou! *short thanking paragraph*
Yeah, I made that card yesterday. So please comment if you haven't! ^_^ Not many have, so yeah. XD It was silly of me to try and make a Halloween card in amongst a billion others! I really like it though. *nods* So yeah. I decided to put this here, since it IS Halloween...and I should bring that to attention first off. XD I have a feeling that if I didn't make this card, I would've totally forgotten to mention it! I'm not a Halloween person. I haven't gone trick or treating or dressed up since I was who knows how old. :/ 10? I don't know, but it's been a while. Maybe 7. ~__~ It was always too much of a hassle since we didn't live in a neighborhood, so we'd have to drive far away to get to one! Plus, I don't need free candy. *laugh* My mom always buys us candy no matter what time of year. XD But to those of you going to parties, trick or treating, and getting into the festivities, I hope that you have a fun and safe one! :D
I'm dressed in a half-arsed pirate outfit. It really isn't a pirate costume, it's just a dress that I got from Hot Topic that's super adorable. It's black with red skulls and crossbones on it. :3 So basically, no, I'm not dressed up. XD This is what I normally wear! *laugh* I've only seen a few people on campus with costumes on...but not many...and nothing too special. Only one of the nuns dresses up, and she's Sister Marcela? I don't remember her name, but she's in charge of theater, so she has all the makeup and everything. She walked into my English class today, and we were like O__o Hahaa...who is that?? I can't even describe her outfit. Painted orange face, green hair, giant green glasses, and some sort of blob-like brown mess as her outfit...a grammar glob or something. XD It was very strange.
Surprisingly, Mr.Mooney didn't dress up as anything! You'd think that with all the times on NORMAL days he's dressed oddly that today would be a field day! But no! XD Slacks and a sweater. -__- BOoooooring. Haha. So yeah, I just had English. We mainly discussed the story, but we also discussed the Phillies and baseball. <333 Yes, if you didn't read my other posts or heard, the Phillies won the World Series!!, and that made me the happiest person ever. ^_^ Today is the celebratory parade that will go down Broad street to the sports complex, etc. I suppose the players will be on the float, and there will be confetti and everything. It's a shame I can't go. It's already started, and apparently people were there waiting since midnight last night. XD They wanted to get good spots! It would be impossible to go today, what with traffic and a billion people already there. Oh well~ I set up my recorder on the TV to watch it though. The whole city is just so happy. It's like the best thing that has ever happened to them. Philly always gets a bad rap, so hopefully this parade will go smoothly and joyously, and nothing bad will end up in the papers! [nothing like throwing snowballs at Santa or mustard packets at the opposing manager's granddaughter!]
Some schools in the area of the parade are closed today, for safety reasons. Mine being far far away in a suburb wouldn't be in danger. XD So, yeah, classes. Oh boo. Ok, so now that baseball season is over, you won't have to read my rantings about it (many of you are very relieved)! It's saddening for me because now I have to wait several more months until the season starts up again, but at least I have hockey and basketball! I'm not a football fan, so there. XD Anyhoo, I'll talk about yesterday now! I didn't have fashion (due to a funeral Sister had to go to), so that meant...I had yesterday off. :3 That would be wonderful under normal circumstances, but unfortunately I had to go to the dentist. :( Just one of those routine cleanings..which hurt a whole heck of a lot because of my sensitive mouth/lips. ~__~ I told the lady to be careful, but she wasn't! She was more rough than usual with that scraper! The inside of my mouth still hurts; I have cuts all in there because she seemed to be scraping my gums more than anything.
Everything's good, like my wisdom teeth, but I DO have a cavity. *sigh* That just brought my mood down. DX I'm not a happy camper. I hate having caveties filled. I hate it, hate it, hate it. It hurts and takes forever. :( And I just had some filled a few months ago!!! How can my teeth be that bad??? *sigh* So I'll have to have it filled...whenever. My mom scheduled it for december 11, but I might be having finals that day. :/ I'm not sure. Ugh. This sucks!!!! T__T Um, while I was at the dentist, my mom was talking to her sister (my aunt) about grandpa. He recently had knee surgery, which went well, but he has no one to help him at home, and he tries to do everything himself...when he isn't ready to. He tried getting up on his own without a cane, and he ended up falling, breaking all the sutures and whatnot...so he was really hurt. He was taken to the hospital, and he's doing better, but still. Not good. He lives in CA, and we're in PA; we can't directly help him, and all my aunts that live out there are USELESS. They don't take care of him and grandma (who has Alzheimer's, so she's no help to grandpa), which is really sad. It's not good. :( And grandpa is so hardheaded that he won't agree to have a live-in nurse or any sort of help! Ugh, nothing will get better for him. So anyhoo, please keep him in your thoughts/prayers. Thanks.
[edit: my grandpa is doing worse. He's back in the hospital after passing out and hallucinating. He's bleeding internally...my mom is very upset, and so are some of her sisters. I pray that he gets through this.]
Ok, the other day, I finally finished the collab with Shadows. ^_^ It took a while, but here it is. She submitted it, but I worked on parts. So please comment~
Wow, this is probably a long post? Maybe? I don't know. It always seems that way to me. Oh well. So after the dentist I got to go to Barnes and Noble and got some books and manga. :3 They'll be saved for my b-day though, which is November 12. <3 Then...the rest of the day I don't remember, so who cares! I need to go eat lunch now...
Thanks so much for dealing with my long posts. XD And dealing with me in general! I don't know how much visiting I'll get to do, but I'll try my best. Have a wonderful Halloween and weekend! <3
