Oh, and haha, Jay, yeah, I AM in good with the library staff. XD Since I go here all the time, I know them by name, even the upstairs janitor lady. XD Anyhoo, so that's where I am now! The library! On time and as scheduled, unlike yesterday...which somehow brought about more comments. *hugs* I'm eating my PB&J sandwich right now because I'm really very hungry. I couldn't wait until after posting, so oh well! At least for right now, I'm in a rather good mood! This day is moving along quickly and fairly nicely...despite that English test! So yeah, I had my english test today. Like the first one, it was multiple choice and essays. 2 essays. For some reason, I felt like I had a lot more time to write them this time...the subjects were difficult though. O__o "What is the meaning of life, and how can you find it?" based off of the stories we've read, and I also chose, "How can you achieve a full understanding of yourself?" again, based off of the stories and poems we read. :/ So yeah, pretty heavy stuff to condense into an hour of writing! I think I did ok...although both of my essays sounded similar. XD And the mult.choice questions...well, I'm hoping I got them all right, but I probably didn't.
After that I had chemistry. Our teacher wanted us to start on the homework that's due monday so that we could go over it in class today, but I didn't work ahead on it. :/ But she wanted us to put problems on the board...so I couldn't...I just copied down what people put, like what most did. XD However, no one did certain ones, so I said I'd work on it during class. 5 minutes later, I finished it and put it up. I guess I'm lucky that I have a quick-thinking mathematical brain...or something. ^^; This class was good though because I can tell that our chem teacher is really, honestly trying to help us more lately. Before, she couldn't explain anything, and she didn't bother to go over the homework, but now she's doing it rather dilligently! Maybe all those failing grades were haunting her and making her realize that she should actually TEACH now. Although, I still don't think she's making the effort to know our names (it's only been 3 months, lady).
Ok, so in case you didn't know, Barack Obama is going to be the next president of the USA!! :D For some of you, that might be a sigh of relief, and for others it might be the bane of your current existence. For me, it's wonderful. I'm extremely happy that he won, since I did vote for him. XD I thought I made it obvious who I voted for yesterday without mentioning exactly, but whatever. :/ I know some of you US citizens would rather die than have him as president, but you have to deal with it. People are people, no matter what they look like, or what party they belong to. Whoever makes it to the office of president is there for the same reason, and they're going to do the best that they can. So no rioting, please. Personally, I don't like politics, and I really don't like getting into political arguments because I might get really fed up...so yeah. XD I watched the polls last night, while studying, and I stayed up to watch the speeches. The decision was so obvious that there was no need to wait until the next day or anything! So yeah. Obama's speech was, I felt, beautiful. So well-worded...it brought people to tears, and I almost wanted to cry, too. XD McCain's speech was also very good! Very supportive, and he did as best as he could. I'm sure he can still help the US in other ways.
I felt like I was watching my Phillies win the World Series again. *laugh* I was that excited. I guess it was because this was my first time voting, and it counted!
Anyhoo, aside from that...yesterday...well, I think I really talked about it already! I had fashion, and then I went home, then went to vote, which was easy...then ate, came home and went on the computer to post about all that. XD After that, I played some Eternal Sonata (I love that game), and then I basically studied for the rest of the night. I'm glad I did that theology essay the other night...ahead of time. Ugh, it's on abortion...and I stopped myself VERY short! She said a page or 2 was good, and I barely made a page. I know that if I could, I would've written a lot more...basically debating all of my teacher's views and how she tries to freaking push them on all of us. XD She just pisses me off so much! I hope today's class will be better, although her precious McCain lost! I hope that we don't really talk about same-sex marriage today because I REALLY don't want to hear her freaking conservative views on it. I'll be even more mad if she tries to shove "homosexuals are sinful and shouldn't be allowed to marry" down our throats. I will shoot her. ~__~ Of course, everyone is free to have their own opinions, but I don't think biggotry is an approved form of opinion! >:E I know some of you do not approve of homosexuality or same-sex marriage, and you probably have good reason, but don't let that opinion force you to be biased upon other people!
Sorry! I feel like I'm really ranting and preaching here. O__o If I am, sorry! I really am. I'm just getting this stuff out of my system, and I don't think I have anything else interesting to talk about. My birthday is next week though! ^_^ November 12! Weeee~~~ I have no plans; I never do. No parties or anything. Just whatever happens, happens! I can never think of anything that I WANT, so I don't ask. XD I'm happy with whatever. :3 Umm...so yay...I have nothing else to say!
