V-day cards, thanks, anniversary, fish, & it's pretty boring!
Hello guys! ^_^ *hugs* Happy Valentine's day! [*points up there* Believe me, there's no Oofuri valentine stuff on theO, lol] And some might call it SAD, but there's kind of no point. >< Even if you're single, that doesn't mean you have NO loved one to spend time with--it could be friends, family, anyone like that! *hugs* Pets? Yup, that's how I'm spending it. :) It's mostly a commercial holiday anyway. Anyhoo, thank you soooo much for the comments! *hugs* I love you guys! <33 It was great to see you all again. Lala, welcome back [yes, i kissed them, and they kissed me; remember, they're mine now!! Lol], and also welcome back to jamo, Liz, MEG MY SWEET TWIN, darke, cassie, and Twist. *huggles* You're all so great. I had fun reading your comments, as usual. I really appreciate everything you said!
And there's the card I made yesterday, if you haven't seen it. ^_^ Sorry, I didn't make one for the guys yet, lol. So this one is geared towards the ladies. ;3 Ok, and now that's it for the banners/cards for this holiday! It is also my 3rd Otaku Anniversary!! Yup! I've been on this site for 3 years now. It sure seems like it's been longer though. ^_^ I swear it does. When I first joined, I was really into Tokyo Mew Mew, hence the name. XD And back then, I was trying to give off a "cool"/"emo" front, lol. So my site was always black and red and purple, or something along those lines. My first avi was one of Jo from Burst Angel, and it was kind of bloody and stuff. *laugh* Boy have I changed! It's amazing! Although, I had good reasons for being emo back then. >< All throughout the summer of 2006...and into '07, I was such a depressed wreck. What with the reconstruction of my house causing us to move...my mom being horribly depressed. Gawd, that was such a horrible time. I was so suicidal! D: And I wrote such depressing poems all the time! Some of you might remember that. SOME of you. Most of my friends that were my firsts back then don't update much anymore. ^^;; Claes was one of my first. :) She comes on sometimes, but not as much. *hugs her* Harvey (currently Sherr) was one of my first...as well as others that have really left for good. ^^;; But I'm glad I made friends with so many great people here. *hugs* Arigatou to all of you!! Whether you visit a lot or update a lot or NOT. I don't care. You mean a lot to me. :3
Ok, so um, yeah. I suppose the reminiscing is done for now, though I probably could've talked about a lot more! *laugh* But I won't! So yeah, how are all of you doing today? If anything, it's the weekend, so just relax! I'm good at doing that! Kind of. Actually, I tend to get depressed if I'm just relaxing! D: Like...if I'm not doing something productive or whatever, I feel guilty. ^^;; But anyhoo, we did get the new fishies on thursday. They came in a little box, all 3 of them in one little bag of water. The water was freezing; they could've died. >.< When we [dad and I] first took the bag out, we thought that two of them WERE dead. ;__; Cause...they weren't really moving, and they were on their sides...usually tell-tale signs of death, right? *laugh* But no, they were ok! We started putting warm water in the bag, and it rejuvenated them, little by little. :3 So after an hour or something, we put them in the tank. One...still looked really bad though. Remember Joe? Vertical Joe? ^^; He was the discus we got a while back, and he couldn't swim right...his air bladder broke, and he ended up dying. Well, this one guy was similar. :( So I was really worried that he'd die! BUT!! He didn't! ^_^ In fact, he's all well and swimming fine now. :3 Their names: Blueberry [head], PJ (dad named him), and Jimmy-Jimmy. Lol. They like have tiger stripes. And they're much bigger than our other guys...but they're not quite used to the tank so they act sorta weird. ^^; I'm watching them now, and they keep swimming up and down in this one corner...it's odd...
In other fish news, you know Bossman, right? Well, he was in the little "prison" tank that now holds our 3 new guys...and he was uber depressed and not doing well when he was alone. We thought that it'd be good for him to have these new ones with him...maybe it'd help him. But no. His nature (that put him in solitary confinement in the first place) of chasing them and being aggressive, came back out. ~__~ And...my dad had no choice but to give him away. :( He brought him back to this fish specialist place (where we got some; it's really awesome; like an aquarium!), and now he's there. ^^ They put him in one of the display tanks with other lovely Amazonian fish like him. :) he looked so happy!! I'm so glad! ^_^ And he won't be sold since he's in that tank; I could visit him any time. I'm so glad for him. Cause he's now the smallest in that tank, he can't chase the other guys! *laugh* So he'll be forced to be nicer and just make do with his new home. :3 But he really did look happy, swimming around in that nice tank. ^_^
Lately, I have been texting Meg (innocent heart) a lot! *laugh* She's so sweet. XD I love her!!! <33 We have so much fun texting...haha..if you read her post on myO today, you'll read a bit more about that!! Hehe. ^^ But yeah. Just thought I'd mention that. *laugh* But I have verizon, and she doesn't, and verizon is stupid when it comes to texting plans!! Like...as far as I know, there isn't an unlimited plan that works with people that don't have verizon. So last month, my bill was a bit high. ^^;; Now I got a plan that gives me 500 free messages with people that are non-V, but heck, with how much we've been chatting...hmm...^^;; And same with my friends Tempestt and Erica from school. *laugh* They always text me with questions about school work. Hah, I'm so LOVED. "Hey, Kelsey, what's for homework in this class? What answer did you get for this?" Etc...I'm SO popular...
Um. *thinks* Yesterday I had off. I didn't do anything. Watched anime (Hajime no Ippo New Challenger, Marimite 4th season, Emma second season)...and played games. My usual day. Today I watched our Flyers win their hockey game. :3 I've been doing some commenting, chatting with lovelies (mew, hiko, olivia) on MSN...umm...not much. I'll probably work on my wallpaper later. It isn't much different from my last screenshot of it. I haven't had the time to work on it more yet. *thinks* Gawd, I can't think...of anything else. Oh, remember I had my accounting exam on thursday? And we had a part of it online? Well, I got a 90 on that part! ^_^ And I know I got the F/S section perfect (I HOPE...), so I'll probably get a solid A on the test. Woooohooo!!
Sorry. This post is REALLY BORING. I'm kind of mentally not all here today. XD Too sidetracked, and I don't think anything else interesting has happened. ^^; So I'll leave you with that! *hugs* Thanks soooooo much for being wonderfully sweet friends.
