the house of your dreams!
Wah! (imagine Misuzu saying this if you know her voice ^^;) So many of you updated!!! *sob* I wonder if I'll be able to get to all of them!! Sure, I've got the time...but it hurts my back to be on the computer for long amounts of time. ^^; I'll try my best to visit though!!! Thanks for your comments on my earlier post (and yesterday's because I just read them). I shall now talk about the house! I wish I brought my camera to take pics of it...man, it'd be cool.
Ok, so this house was HUGE...HUUUUUGE!!! Like almost mansion type huge. It was already owned by people so it wasn't brand-new...which made it cooler cause it had all the stuff that they bought for it in it! The guy is an art dealer, so he had paintings on practically every wall. It was really neat...I really wanted the ones that were down in the "entertainment" area. They were of 1920's gangsters and pretty ladies with those awesome hats they used to wear covering their eyes...so you couldn't see any of their eyes in teh paintings...it was just really cool. Anyhoo...back to the actual house...
Right when you walk in, you see 2 stairways heading upstairs. They're carpeted in white and super rich-looking. To the right is a room with a baby grand piano in it, and to the left is the dining room. The room connecting to the piano one had a TV in it with some nice looking chairs...and had tons of big and pretty windows! The main room on that floor that was straight ahead had a fireplace and some chairs, and a huge painting. ^^; There was another smaller room next to it with another TV and such. Near there was the kitchen...it looked like a deluxe super-rich person's kitchen!!! It was so nice (it had black marble counters and a huge fridge)...and it certainly didn't affect my mom badly. ^^; There was also a bathroom (with a bath) on that floor as well. Now to the top floor!
I think there were 3 bedrooms...or maybe 4...I don't remember. Each had their own bathroom (with bath/shower included) and walk-in closet! The master bedroom was crazy though...the walk-in closet was as long as the whole hallway in my house now. It was huge!! >< The bathroom was like you just walked into a Roman bath-house. The shower was so cool with dark green tiles and a little bench dealie in it...and the bath was white and gold. It reminded me of a Roman bath because there were even white columns in front of it! It was just amazing...man!! I should've taken pictures!! ><
Now for the best part of the house! The entertainment floor!! This was downstairs. There was a pool table, a bar, and even a closet specifically for the alcohol. ^^; Next to that area was a nice sitting/reading area with a huge bookcase of books (that the owners probably never read but just bought at an auction or something). The guy had his own special "train room" for his train sets...and the wife had a painting room! ^^ It had the nice studio lighting and everything...so, yeah, she's a painter. Of course there was another bathroom (and another bath) down there...near the best room of them all...the THEATER ROOM!!! It was just like a movie theater...I swear...it was the coolest thing ever. Huge screen, nice leather seats (2 rows), great surround sound, and even lights on the walls that you could dim (just like a real movie theater!) That room alone cost over $60,000 to do...
So, to sum it all up...the house was like a rich rapper's house (almost)...and it's pretty much unattainable. They want 2 million for it...and of course my dad doesn't have that money. So he gave them an offer well below that...but I doubt they'll accept it. ^^; I love my house right now, and I really don't want to move at all...but I gotta say, that house was crazy! *sigh* It was amazing...and it'd be awesome to live in it...but I don't think I could ever see it as our house. I doubt it'll become our house, but...even still, nothing can replace where I am now, where I've grown up.
