*hugs* Thanks for the comments yesterday!!!! ^^ They were all very sweet, and I got a lot of long ones, too. I'm glad you all enjoyed/laughed at the funny quote in my mom's book...yes, it was from a murder mystery. ^^; I don't know what the orange speedo guy had to do with anything though. *laugh* It was just really funny. As for my muffins, yummy. ^^ I'd send you all some if I could! Too bad I can't...for one thing, they're pretty much all gone. ^^; Yes, natural sleep!! It feels oh-so-good! I slept without a pill last night, too! I had pretty weird dreams though...not nightmares, just really weird ones.
Sorry I won't have visiting time today (nor probably any day this week) unless I decide to visit instead of post. The thing is, I still won't be able to visit many people cause my time on the computer is in the morning...and not many people update by then. ^^; So I'm really sorry! I just hope you guys don't forget about me!
As you can see, I've changed my avi back to one with Misuzu. ^^ My dear and sweet friend Harvey, whom I've mentioned many times before, requested that I go back to a Misuzu one so he made it for me! ^^ I love it a lot. I shall use this one for quite a while now. *nods* Thank you again, Harvey!!! *hugs* I suppose Misuzu is my character...as in, I'm most like her. ^^; I actually could look pretty similar, too. But I do agree that she reminds me of me. ^^ Anyhoo, I wish I could make avatars like that. ^^; Whenever I try to make them...they don't look very good...so I don't use them. I might use one for like a day (or less), but then quickly dispose of it for a professionally made one. I really don't like seeing stuff that I do...including drawings/paintings. I always think they look like crap so I never want to see it again after doing it. *sigh* Almost the same with writing...I don't like reading something I wrote over again unless I really really loved it. ^^;
Yesterday my day was full of...hmm...nothing...and a lot of cooking/preparation. My dad and I peeled and cut the peaches he picked off of our tree to make it into peach shortcake. That took a long time...and I've never peeled fruit (or anything) before with just a normal knife. I'm used to using an actual peeler...so this was quite hard for me, especially since I'm always afraid of cutting myself. Most of the peaches I did had hardly any fruit left on them after I peeled. ^^; But my dad peaked my interest with "If you peel one in one peel, then you get $5." So, if I peeled a whole peach without any skin falling off before I get to the end, I'd get the money...well, he was a cheater!! >< I got to the very end in all one peel, but there was a tiny bit left on the peach...so he didn't give it to me. My oldest bro (Derek) was there and he considered himself the "judge", and because he didn't want me to get the $5 (he was jealous), he said it didn't count. Evil, evil people!!!
So, yeah...I didn't get the $5, but I got a $1 consolation prize. *sigh* Oh well. I suppose I should end this post here...maybe I can visit some people quickly. Today is a deathly hot and humid day here, so hopefully it's not so bad where you are. Have a fantabulous and cool day!!! ^^
