Thankies, thankies!! *hugs* I love you all sooooo much!! Your comments are always so nice and helpful. ^^ First off, I gotta say...EK, your family sounds so weird and hillarious. I can't believe your brother's name is Jupiter! That's soo cool! ^^ And yeah, that dinner sucked...but at least the waiter was humorous. It's so hard to find any good restaurants around here!! Anyhoo, all of your nice wishes to get better were very sweet. I'm doing much better now (as far as breathing and my stomach goes), but there's always something, you know!!!
Yesterday, my oldest brother (Derek) got this Flavia coffee/tea/cocoa making machine. It's really cool. You just put in the packets, and it automatically does all the rest in like 10 seconds! I'm not a coffee drinker though...so this morning he let me try the hot chocolate. Well...so he makes it, sips it, and then has me try it...I assume since he was able to drink it right away that it wasn't that hot. ^^; Well, very wrong assumption on my part...especially since I'm super sensitive to heat (on my skin, mouth, everywhere)...so I take a sip, and whaddya know? It was EXTREMELY HOT! But I couldn't spit it out, so I sipped and drank...and oowwwww. I completely burned my tastebuds. I cried (of course ^^;), and instead of helping me, he made fun of me. Of course I'd cry!! It took me by surprise! I didn't think it'd be that hot...and it hurt!!! >< So now my tongue and mouth stings...and I can feel how rough and bumpy my tastebuds are. It was quite hard to eat breakfast (egg and toast)...it hurt...and I couldn't really taste anything. *sigh*
So, yeah, that sucked this morning. Today we're going to bring my doggie (Totoro) to the vet for his annual checkup. ^^ He's sooo cute...but I bet he'll weigh a lot more than last year...he's gotten quite fat. ^^; He hates going to the vet of course; he always gets so nervous when he's in the car. Also today I might go to the library to finally get one of my summer reading books. Hopefully it's not too long of a read cause I still have another one to get and read, too. The Autobiography of MalcomX and Red Azaleas are the books I have to read.
Yesterday (after feeling like crap for most of the day) was quite fun. At night my dad took me and Corey to Grand Slam (which I think I mentioned before...it's like a big arcade). For the first time I played DDR on the arcade machine! ^^ It was soooooo much fun!!! I really sucked at first cause I'm not used to the metal dance pad at all...I'm used to my crappy soft one at home. So I got a lot of D's, some C's, and only one B. I did it on light mode for all but the last set (which I did on standard). I couldn't believe I did some on standard on the machine! ^^ It was great! My dad and brother even tried dancing as well...of course, they didn't do so well. ^^; But it was still fun! It was sooo hot in the place though cause they don't have air conditioning....so I was soo red in the face and sweaty. ^^; Gross...but fun! Luckily I didn't feel lightheaded and faint after it!!
