Warning: new bg, thanks, my thanksgiving, dad's broken cell, & more sorries

Nyaaww...^^ Thankies for the comments!! 15! That's a record for the past many months! I see that some of you even returned later (Shizuka) to check out what I did to my site! As some of you noticed, I changed my bg! ^^; Seems sudden, right? I didn't even mention I was going to at all...and I sorta just changed my bg, but yeah. It was another spur the moment type thing for me! I was looking for Marimite (short for Maria-sama ga Miteru) pictures on this forum, and the one I'm using for my bg was one of them...I got lots of cute pics, and I just loved this one! I thought, hey why not? It's still fall! So anyway, all the characters on there are super-deformed versions of the chara. in the show. *nods* I'll still keep my Misuzu avatars I suppose...but I'll keep on changing my theme. Anyhoo...thanks so much for the comments! Especially the wishes for a happy thanksgiving and the ones about the 007 movie...which, I see, that most people don't want to see. ^^; *hugs to all*
Alrighty, I guess I'll talk a bit about my thanksgiving yesterday. I'll have to make it sorta quick since I got on the computer later...so, yeah. Yesterday just seemed like any other day to me. It didn't seem like Thanksgiving at all. *sigh* The only difference from being like most other days was that there was turkey, stuffing, and cranberries...and crappily made bread by my dad. It wasn't at all like other years because of my mom not being able to go downstairs and all. We didn't get any of her freshly baked breads and pies...or any of the special appetizers. *sigh* We didn't get to play a board game as a family like we usually would do...and the biggest thing was that we didn't sit at the dining room table (usually the only time when we do) and have a formal prayer before eating! We all just sat in front of our TVs and ate...and bleh, I really don't like turkey that much. The whole meal to me makes me feel sick. I always end up getting a headache after eating it because all of the flavors seem to mesh into one...^^; So, yeah, that was my Thanksgiving. It went very quickly, and it wasn't exciting.
My dad went shopping at 5am this morning at all the stores trying to get deals...he's always up that early so it makes no difference to him. Well, apparently, when he bent outside of his car to pick up the newspaper...his cellphone dropped out of his pocket. Later, when he was coming out of the stores, he was looking for his phone, but couldn't find it. After much frantic searching, he decided to call it...he heard his message machine the first time, but the second was a high pitched sound. ^^; When he got home, he discovered his phone...on the road...crushed. *laugh* It's funny, but absolutely terrible because we can't get new phones until Dec.6 or something. It's just something that could only happen to my dad...
Well, that's all for me today. I'm sorry again for my lack of commenting on your sites...you're all so nice to me, but I can't ever return the favors. *sigh* I'm sorry!!! I'm sorry!! Thanks for visiting me...I really appreciate it, and have a wonderful day after Thanksgiving! Hopefully you all didn't get too fat! *laugh*
