Warning: short better mood, thanks, shizuka b-day, work, some relaxing, & poem contest

Hello everyone! I'm posting in Japanese class right now...yup, yup. Anyhoo, thanks for the comments yesterday. ^^; Um, yeah, I was in a better mood yesterday, but that didn't last for long. My "better moods" tend to last for an hour at most. *sigh* So I was in a good mood from after I got help after school up until I finished my new wallpaper (which isn't up yet...boo). Once I finished my wallpaper, and I started working on my computer programming, well, that's when my mood dropped yet again. *sigh* I didn't know how to do it still...I couldn't get it to work right. I again worked a while on it, and then I had to work on the rest of my java homework (about 20 short-answers...), which took well over another hour. It was probably 2 hours...but anyway, I was just so frustrated with that class yesterday, and I still am. I had the second part of the test today, and I (along with everyone else) didn't finish...so that'll be finished monday, and I don't think I did too well so far. *sigh* Next period I have campus (free period), but guess where I'm spending it instead of having fun?? That's right! With my teacher getting MORE HELP!!! >< I'm going crazy here!
Ok...I am crazy, but not crazy enough to not say "Happy birthday" to my dear friend, Shizuka!! *hugs* I hope it's wonderful! Anyhoo, I'll change my bg this weekend or something, and I'll give you guys a link to my new wallpaper whenever these MO jerks decide to put it up. ^^; Now then...today in English, we were given time to work on revising our autobiographies. I was so worried about all the things I needed to fix or change, but then I asked my teacher about it, and she said that it really isn't that bad. I mainly need to focus on connecting/explaining how my poems relate to the events/memoirs...and I need to expand my one memoir. Oh, AND she gave us a one-day extension for it! So now it's due on wednesday instead. ^^ That's a good thing...too bad there's still the Hamlet debates next week, which I really need to prepare for...monday.
Ah, it's friday...almost the weekend. I think tonight will be the first night where I won't be doing homework/programming...unless I really feel like it. I'll get to play some KH2 finally. *nods* I hope, that is. I'll try to visit some people. Oh, I just remembered something. My friend, Lindsay (aka Narret on MO), is in the finals for this poetry contest thing. She wrote a poem and submitted it a couple months ago for poetry.com, and they sent her a letter saying that her poem is in the finals and that it could be published in a book they're coming out with...and she'll win money! I wish I knew about that contest. ^^; Oh well. I wish her luck!
