Warning: on break!, thanks, new wallpaper, x-mas gifts, & autobiography
Hello, everyone!!!! I'm FINALLY on my winter break! WOOHOO! It was a half-day today. ^^ Thanks a billion for all the comments yesterday! Like, wow, thanks so much! I'm glad you all liked my gingerbread house (if you didn't see it, go look at my last post!)...*laugh* Sorry, xanth...it's actually NOT all edible. *laugh* I had to use a lot of, not super glue, but HOT GLUE for most of the stuff...*laugh* Sorry to disappoint you. ^^; At least none of it fell apart that way! Hehe. Thanks also for the compliments on my poem (if you didn't read it...well, go to yesterday's post!), and on my wallpaper and fanart. *nods* Yes, yesterday was full of a ton of goodies! ^^ So if you didn't visit my site yesterday, make sure today! Thanks again, and please...NO ONE TRY TO EAT MY GINGERBREAD HOUSE; I'M WARNING YOU, YOU'LL PROBABLY DIE. *laugh*
Anyhoo...so, yay, I'm off! ^^ I have another "gift" for you all...or rather, your gifts to me, which would be more comments...I made another new wallpaper last night. It's of Reki from Haibane Renmei. *nods* One of my favorite anime...and Claes's (hehe, I'm sure you'll love it, Reki! After all...she's your nickname. ^^) I didn't do much as far as details with the actually wallpaper...I mainly focused on writing the poem for it. I wrote the poem to describe her feelings that go on in the show...so if you've seen it, you'd know why I wrote it. ^^; It would make more sense, but then again, that's what I do with most of my wallpapers...write some meaningful poem/line/whatever relating to the character's feelings. *nods* So click on the links and comment/download if you please! Last night I worked on my mom's Christmas gift. What my dad and I are doing for her is...well, a lot of work. ^^; You know (or you might not) that she hasn't been able to go down to the kitchen due to the renovation...and she gets horrible reactions whenever she does. She's pretty much allergic to anything downstairs, so we can't take any of it with us to our new house when we move. In the kitchen was all of her wonderful recipes...and she can't take those because they'll probably cause her to react. So what my dad and I are doing is organizing all of them and then copying them to paper/sheets and then putting them in this album with nice sheet covers. *nods* We're basically making her a cookbook out of her handwritten recipes. Last night I did the organizing...and, boy, was it gross. *laugh* They were all so dusty and crappy...with dead moth parts on them. ^^; After doing that, I sneezed so much and my face was irritated. My dad did a lot of the copying and he bought the album last night. So today I need to finish the copying and decorate the album. *nods* It's "labor of love."
Today...I'm also going to probably work on my one brother's X-mas gift...the jerk of a brother that really doesn't deserve anything, but since I'm a nice sister, I'm doing it for him. I'm going to draw him some anime character that he likes...probably Pachira from the anime Magical Pokaan. It's my current fave. *laugh* It's really funny so I recommend it! Hmm...other than that, I suppose I'm just going to relax. *nods*
I got back my autobiography today!!!!!!!!!!! >_< And I did REALLY WELL. I got a 100! That's right, a perfect grade...on that Hellish paper that took up most of this year and that I suffered through writing. I really got a 94, but I got 6 extra credit points for (I guess) the extra pages that I added with pictures and my other poems. *nods* I'm so happy!! ^^
