I'm hanging with my friend, Kostik. We're playing the extremely manly game, "Gears of War", drinking Monster, and smoking cigars. Testosterone is happenin' here. lol
Needless to say, my depression has gone bye bye. Muahahahahaha!
Getting over my Depression
I am still a bit depressed, but I think I'll shake it by the end of today. I think it's the winter getting to me. It gets dark at 5 pm, instead of like 10 pm, as it does in the summer.
It's so dark, all the time. I enjoy the night, but like it in its proper place - starting in the double digits. 5 is just too fucking early.
Also, I feel a little depressed about the world. I am so fucking dying here. I was born for a world...God, it's so hard to describe.
I want a world of magic and legends. Where myths come alive. I was born for something greater than this life.
And what really kills me is how much I want to be a Champion - a man sworn to the protection of the Queen, Princess, or other noble lady.
But there is no real place in this world for Champions such as myself. We are obsolete.
The three types of Chivalry:
Chivalry in relation to countrymen and fellow Christians: this contains virtues such as mercy, courage, valor, fairness, protection of the weak and the poor, and in the servant-hood of the knight to his lord. This also brings with it the idea of being willing to give one’s life for another’s; whether he would be giving his life for a poor man or his lord.
Chivalry in relation to God: this would contain being faithful to God, protecting the innocent, being faithful to the church, being the champion of good against evil, being generous and obeying God above the feudal lord.
Chivalry in relation to women: this is probably the most familiar aspect of chivalry. This would contain what is often called courtly love, the idea that the knight is to serve a lady, and after her all other ladies. Most especially in this category is a general gentleness and graciousness to all women.

I'm a little depressed today. Just gloomy. I feel tired and sore, like I've just been put through a meat grinder. My back hurts, my legs hurt, my arms hurt...
I think I might do anther angels and demons theme. What do you all think? Maybe the Balrog, or Devil May Cry, or something along those lines.
Today I may put in a few more applications (man, I'm getting tired of that) and then write my novels. I'm so excited - I'm rewriting the first out of my series, and it's turning out SOOO much better than the original, which I wrote about three years ago. My skills have gotten much better since then. But OMG, writing a novel is HARD. I've been working on this one for like three years now, and only just now is it getting good enough to be sent off (at least in my eyes). I hope DAW Books likes it. I plan on sending it to them.
But all in all, I'm enjoying my life as a broke writer. It's so classic. I eat ramen to survive, and spend almost all of my time typing away. It's kinda cool.
Today I am going to apply at TMC, a new place in town that's going to open up in Feb. They sell tracktors and farming supplies, and will likely have use for my muscle.
Beyond that, I have no idea what I'm going to do today. I'll probably apply at a few other places as well.

I spent all of yesterday baking christmas cookies...that was fun, but really kinda felt like a waste of time. Man, I feel like being out in the world, all on my own, completely and totally independant. Unfortunatly, I am broke, so that is a near impossibility. *sigh*

Well, today I have work from 9:00 am to 11:30 or 12:00. Then I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe wrote some. *shrug* I've put in and checked on a ton of applications, so not much is left to do with those, except wait.
What else to say...right now, I'm watching the original Frankenstein. I love that movie. So classicly creepy.
I could go for some blood about now...*licks lips* I haven't fed in a while. Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Sorry, I get a little evil at night. *fanged grin*

Let me start this post by saying

(note Alucard in the closet - he would get a kick out of that, the sick bastard. But then again, I probably would too...)
I thought those were funny. I was laughing unconrollably when I saw the last one - that is SO Alucard. lol
But that last o0ne also brings to mind a subject for disscussion and debate: What do you, my friend, think of Shoujo-ai (which is Japanese for "Girl-Love", which in anime/manga that has a lesbian relationship in it)? I, personally, find shoujo-ai and lesbian relationships quite beautiful - not to be confused with me thinking they are "sexy" and "hot", for I hate pornography. I simply think, because women are experts at caring for others and eachother, two of them could find true love together. That's why I love the shoujo-ai anime "Burst Angel", and the real-life show "The L Word".
But that's enough of what I think - what do you guys think about the subject?
