Well, soon it will be Halloween. I'm really excited about it. One of my favorite days of the year. I'm loving October.
I have an oral presentation on Monday...dreading that...wish me luck. 15 minutes long. Damn.

Today I have a shit load of homework *makes tired anime look, followed by eye twitch* I hate college. *twitch*
Psychology and a paper to write...
I wish I'd been born in the middle-ages...I would have made a kick-ass blacksmith.
I also HATE fucking technology. HATE IT WITH A FUCKING PASSION. My damn computer's main whatchamacallit (used to be google) changed to Firefox or some shit like that, and now I have lost a bunch of my favorited sites...and the new setup looks lame...
And I have to go to my grandpas today and weld a part of my car...he was on the internet all day yesterday so I couldn't get ahold of him...*twitch* And I need my car fixed by tommorrow. *twitch* I wish we still used horses. Cars are a pain. I don't care if you can go farther faster...if the world was more simple, as it was ages ago, I swear to God our world would be in a better state than it's in. Big mistake to make machines, I tell ya.

I applied for a job at the front desk at the YMCA...rumor has it that it's a slow paced job, which would make easy for me to study while I make the $$$. Sounds good to me...although I'm sure I'll be bored as hell...and I'll also be working with a girl that turned me down flat when I asked her for a date...oh joy.
I just worked on my car's breaks. That's all taken care of, but now I have to go to my grandpas and use his welder on my hood...damn lock's broken. It never ends.

Well, not much to report. I've been playing alot of Magna Carta at night. Right now I'm trying to get one of my team members out of jail. She has amnesia, and let one of the enemy go. *sigh* lol
How's everyone else doing?

Magna Carta
I bought a new game, an RPG called "Magna Carta". Very good. Not as good as Final Fantasy VII or X-2, at least not yet, but still very good. Anyone played it? The exact name is "Magna Carta: Tears of Blood".
I had two midterms yesterday...an exam in psychology and an oral report in Children's lit. No miderm in English122, thank God.
Wow...I got some rather negative responses when I said I was considering joining the Marines. Sorry to scare you, guys. *scratches head* That wasn't my intention.
I do fully understand what it would mean, and what it would be like, to join the military. At least on an intellectual level. And I also understand that we are at war. Maybe it's a male thing, maybe it's my youth. Maybe both. I feel like fighting against the evil of this world, and being a Marine would give me the ability to do just that.
But for all points and purposes, I desire to get married and raise a family more than meeting my enemies on the battlefield. But the romanticism of war and its epic scail temp me. It would be an important life of be a soldier.

Well, my life is devoted to homework. *sigh* This sucks. From dawn until dusk I live, eat, drink, and breath homework. I fucking hate this. I wish I lived in Spira (the world of Final Fantasy X). I'd love a life of nothing but magic and adventure. But, sadly, in this world, one must succeed in school to aid their life situation. I need a life of higher purpose. College sucks at that. I was born in the wrong century. I would be perfectly at home on some ancient battle feild swinging an axe into my foe's helmet.
Anyone else feel they were born in the wrong time, and the wrong place?
I'm actually considering joining the Marines.

I went to a party last night. Had a great time, too, which came as a slight surprise. I saw a friend there that I hadn't seen in a few years: Allison, a girl I was friends with when I was part of the YMCA-based "Leaders" club. Hung out with her and one of her friends for most of the time. Good conversation. I also saw a childhood friend of mine, Kevin. We see eachother on rare ocassions, and he's always a riot. He has a nice girlfriend too.
Well, I must return to homework now. Good-bye.

New Site
I made a new site, "GirlCrazedFreak". Visit if you like, and sign the gb is you feel like it. And if you have no objection, I think I'll add my friends from this site to that one. Comments (3) |

Zaraki
I have two classes today. Children's lit and Psychology. Ashley's in the first one. *claps hands*
I just read Bleach vol. 15, and LOVED IT!!! One of my ultimate favs in that manga is Kenpachi Zaraki, a Soul Reaper. Ichigo fought him to a draw a few volumes back, and it seemed that he may have died from his wounds. But he appeared in 15, alive and well. The song "The Kraken" from the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack reminds me of him. I've posted the song, and a picture of Zaraki, below.
