Free Time...Before None
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Well, today I have a small amount of free time before the coming long, BUSY week.
I just but some new spark-plugs in my car, and it seems to be running better than before. I don't think I mentioned it before, but my car has been randomly dying on me in the middle of the road. Kinda irritating.
I saw Tristan and Isolde last night. That was an great, yet depressing, film. Very Romeo and Juliet. Very.
I plan on spending quite a bit of time on Otaku today, so I'll probably get to the sites of those who have updated recently.

Quote of the day: "There is something to be said of love. It binds us together, making us more than we were when we were alone. Love is strength. Love inspires chivalry and honor, respect and self-sacrifice. To devote yourself compleatly and totally to another...that is the true human purpose." - Me

Questions:
1) Do you have a busy week ahead?
2) Have you seen "Tristan and Isolde"?
3) "Van Helsing" or "Underworld"?

Gotta Go
This may be a quick post - I have to go to work (I'm working in the YMCA Youth Lobby again) soon, so I have to keep this relatively short.
Anyway, college has officially started. And I had to pay $300 for my books. THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! That sucks! I think the professors like to pick on the poor college students by making them pay for these expensive books. *tear*
I've had one day of class so far, Thursday. I found the campus with little difficulty, but once I started going home, I got incredibly lost in the big city. Eventually I ended up in a bad part of town, the kind of area where you hear BANG BANG! (scream) *screech of car wheels* lol Then, after about 2 hours of being lost, I happened upon the road I knew I needed, and was relieved beyond measure.
Well, I must be going, so good-bye. I'll try to get to some sites today, if I can find the time.

Girl Crazy...I AM GIRL CRAZY!!!
Well, today is yet another day when I have woken up and thought only of one thing. And I'm sure from the title you can figure out what it is. I really do think maybe I should change my username to "Girlcrazedfreak" or something.
Anyway...what else to say...I'm listening to "In the End" by Linkin Park. That's a good song.
Next week is my last week of work, and then I start college. I'm looking forward to the change, but I'm going to miss working at camp. That was such an awesome job. I SOOO want it back next year.
It's been a while since I watched the Lord of the Rings...maybe I'll do that today.

Quote of the day: "If the Lord made anything better than a woman, he kept it for himself." - Jerry Lee Lewis

Questions:
1) A Linkin Park fan?
2) An Enya fan?
3) How long has it been since you've seen the Lord of the Rings? (if you've even seen it)

I am sick today - not horribly, but I have a sore throat and I feel kinda sore. But I feel like going out. Maybe I'll go to the mall and look at all the beautiful women there...and maybe buy some clothes from Hot Topic.
I bought a Wolf's Rain DVD yesterday. That's a good anime.
Nothing much else to say...

Urrrgh
Well, I'm kinda irritated right now. My parents returned from vacation - I had the house to myself for two weeks. Which was AWESOME. Anyway, now they're back, and invading my space - even now, they are sitting behind me watching TV...and I had this room first...*twitch*
Just trying to get used to them being back...
Anyway, I've been watching some Evangelion over the last few days. I do believe that is the greatest anime ever made. A work of flawless art, truly. Flawless, that is, until the ending, but that doesn't matter...the show still rocks! And Rei is supreamly cool.
I'd say the second best anime is Hellsing, without a doubt.

Quote of the day: A bit of Information on Alucard from Hellsing, found on the Official Hellsing website:
"A powerful vampire, who for reasons unknown has chosen to work with the Hellsing Organization in their struggle to rid the world of vampires and other ghouls. His relationship with Integra is double-edged - at times he seems condescending to her, at others he respects her.
Faced with the choice of letting the Priest escape or sacrificing Seras’ normal existence, he willingly chooses to let her die and offer her a place among the undead. Why he would defend a species he clearly thinks less of is unknown.
Able to regenerate from nearly any wound, save those caused by silver, or holy artifacts, Arucard can also teleport and open up a portal to the netherworld. He may have other powers yet to be demonstrated.

   12:30
Not too long before my vacation ends and I go back to work...and I go back to college this month, too. I'm taking Psychology, English, and Creative Writing.
Not much else to say...it's 12:30 in the morning, and I can't sleep, so I'm on the internet and watching Frasier on the TV to my left. I love that show. And there's something really fun about watching a sitcom at night.
Anyway, due to the time of night, I am currently suffering from an inability to think of anything intelligable and/or interesting to say. So I am wrapping up this post.

Ada
I've been playing Resident Evil 4 as Ada...that's awesome. Ada is absolutely beautiful, and an amazing, intelligent, and powerful character. And I can't get enough of that Red dress of her's. As seen here:

Apart from that, I didn't done a whole lot yesterday...I cleaned my car's interior. It's nice to have a clean car. Yeah. To be honest, I wish I had somewhere to go. I love driving.

Quote of the day: "Our sins...are they ever forgiven?" - Cloud Strife

Questions:
1) Can you legally drive?
2) Ever heard of "Marv"? There's a particular one I'm thinking of.
3) Pirates of the Caribbean or Treasure Island?

   Pirates
Okay, I am compleatly obsessed with Pirates. I've always loved things that have to do with the sea, and after seeing Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, I am hopelessly obsessed. I am very interested in the Kraken. I did some reading on the net about the beast, and back in the old days, sailors claimed they saw a giant squid or octopus the size of an island. Now that's freakin' huge! I've always had a fasination with squids and stuff...not sure why. But I think they're really cool. I'll post some pics of the beasties.
Apart from that, what else have I been up to...I've been reading the Hellsing manga...that's good. I finished volume one of "Berserk" as well. That was a good. Although, thus far, the plot is pretty lacking. It's all action. Which looses my interest somewhat. I need plot to sink my fangs into.
I bought a model of Davy Jones today...I thought about putting it on my car's dash, but it was a bit too big. Too bad.

Quote of the day: "Life is cruel. Why should the afterlife be any different?" - Davy Jones - "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"

Questions:
1) Which is cooler: a squid, or an octopus?
2) Would you choose to live your life on the sea?
3) Ever been on a cruise?

Not a whole lot to report...I think I've nearly beat the InuYasha game I've been playing. I recently battled Naraku, and I beat his arse into the dirt. He didn't die, he dissappeared, but still, I was victorious. Unfortunatly, Kagura died in the battle. Unfortunatly, because...she joined my group! She used her Dance of Blades on Naraku! That was awesome to see! But I believe Kagura will be back.
I also saw the fourth InuYasha movie. It was excellent. I'd say better than the first, better than the second, but not quite as good as the third. But still an excellent part of the Inuyasha story.

Sesshoumaru's Acceptance
Top of the morning to you, my friends. I have nothing much to do today, as I am on vacation, thus I shall attempt to visit all of your sites.
What else to write...hmm...well, for one thing, I am stuck in the InuYasha game I mentioned in my last post. Right now I'm working for Naraku - undercover. And I just got to hang out with the hottest character on the show - Kagura. *drools* Dear God she's hotttttt!!!! Anyway, she and I were sent by Naraku to go and capture Rin, to get at Sesshoumaru. But we were seperated, and I found Rin first. I helped her pick some flowers, then went with her back to Sesshoumaru and Jaken. Sesshoumaru said I could stay with them. Cool, huh? But now, I don't know what to do - the three of them are just sitting in front of the fire. I've talked to each of them but the plot is not going anywhere. I've searched the area as well, but nothing moves the plot further.
I bought the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" soundtrack. The music is so cool. But I'm glad I bought it at Best Buy - there's 2 extra songs on it, a "Best Buy Special". So if you want to buy it, I'd reccommend you get it from Best Buy.

Quote of the day (if you are familiar with Jack Sparrow, there's no way you can get through this without at least smiling): "No! If we don't have the key, we can't open whatever it is we don't have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever need be unlocked, which we don't have, without first having found the key what unlocks it?" - Jack Sparrow, from "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"

Questions:
1) Have you played any good InuYasha games?
2) Have you seen Pirates of the Caribbean 2?
3) If you've seen both Pirates movies, which is your favorite character?

Inuyasha personality test-- which Inuyasha character are you? Revised!

Hello, Kouga ^_^ Daring, fearless, and intense, you are well known for your persistency. It might be said that you sometimes don't know when to quit! You're impulsive in your judgements, but once you make them, you stubbornly stand by your decision. Your boldness makes you a leader among your friends, and a figure to look up to. Confrontational and quick to argue, you don't like dissension in the ranks, and are prone to bouts of bossiness. This, however, is tempered by your underlying sweet and doting nature. You are resourceful, protective, and beginning to become more conscious of the feelings of those around you. All of this, I imagine, would be a result of the effect that a certain someone is having on you *wink*
