Girls = Bliss
What to write...well, first of all, allow me to apoligize for not visiting hardly any sites at all. I've been busy these last few days with trainings and such. In fact, I have another one today at 4:00 until 6:00 pm. Child Abuse Prevention, which I have already taken, but why not freshen up on it, since I'm going to be working with kids all summer? And if one of my kids this summer is being abused, I'd love to be able to realize it, and then act accordingly (as in kicking the abuser's sorry ass).
Apart from that...last night I had Biohazard Training...which was not resident evil related, to my dismay...in that class we learned what to do when (not if) a kid vomits on us. Apparently this is going to happen without fail.
Also, since it's getting warmer and warmer around here, my girl craziness has increased as well. It is so temp related. The hotter the air, the hotter girls look to me. lol And the more humidity, the better. ^_^
So, I am currently watching the Travel Channel. Anyone here ever watch Great Hotels? I always love seeing all the wonderful hotels and resorts. Makes me feel like I'm on vacation. And it may be due to the heat, but the host (Samantha Brown) seems incredibly hot to me. But now I'm beginning to daydream...so, I'll continue with my post.
Quote of the day: "I love girls." - Me (of course)
Questions:
1) Favorite cable channel? (if any)
2) Dream job?
3) When I say "Angel", what do you think of? Be as specific as possible.
My Best Friend
Hey! I only have a little time to spare - I have to go take my driving test in a few minutes. Wish me luck!
I wanted to dedicate today's post to Alphonse13, aka Stephanie. She's a cool girl, and I'm glad to call her my friend. So here's a video that contains our song!
(Although I consider myself quite a bit more manly than Harry...)
Full Fledged Demon
Today I am officially an adult. At exactly 7:36 pm tonight, I will become 18 years of age.
Yesterday I signed up for the selective service, as all men my age must do. I recieved a noticed afterward, and it called me Mr. Brookhouse. MR. I'm a Mister now! lol
Later, I went to eat at a Japanese restaurant, called Ukai, for my birthday meal (a day early, but who cares). It was amazing. The cook made our meals at our table, and boy was he skilled. He was tossing shrimp everywhere, cutting eggs in mid air, juggling lobsters. Very entertaining.
And I know this may be strange to hear (coming from a guy), but my outfit was so cool. lol I was wearing black jeans, a black dress shirt, and I had a red ribbon wraped loosely around my neck. I looked like Alucard from Hellsing! lol
And another thing about the restaurant: all the waitresses were wearing kimonos! That was awesome! They all looked so cool!
Then me and my folks came home and watched Shaun of the Dead. That is such a funny movie! And although it was mostly a comedy, it's gotta be one of the best zombie movies out there.
Quote of the day: "Sauron needs only this ring to cover all the lands in a second darkness." - Gandalf from "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring"
Questions:
1) Do you believe in redemption? Why or why not?
2) Would you rather visit China or Japan?
3) Ever heard of White Queen? Otherwise known as Emma Frost?
Deep in Thoughts
I'm feeling a bit deep right now, so bear with me - I'll try not to confuse anyone. I think sometimes I say things that seem to have no connection when I'm in a philisophical mood, like I am now.
This last day I've had alot of time to reflect. Not a whole lot going on, which usually allows my mind to wander into deep thought.
I have a feeling, as if I am waiting for something. This feeling has been driving me mad. Everyday I wake up, do chores or go to work, eat, and then sleep again. Life has been sickeningly repetitive. And I fear it will be for a while. Even with my new job, eventually that will become boring and mundane. I have this feeling...a feeling, a sense, that I am needed. That I have a purpose that I have not yet even began to fullfill. I believe in fate, on an epic scale. I also believe in God, and I further believe that I have been spoken to by Him. Not like I actually HEARD Him, more like he's given me a feeling. I know, without a doubt, that I will never be truly happy and content until I am living as an adult (out of my parents house...which I cannot wait to be), and living with a woman. I know that my soul purpose in life is to serve and support a woman, to make her life easier, to protect her...to be her Guardian Angel. Lord, I cannot wait to have a family of my own. My own children, a wife, a dog...I want my own life so much. A life devoted to my wife and our children. That's all I want.
There must be something more to life, right? Something grand...something with true PURPOSE. I'm dying to be used. Like I said in a quote, I feel that men are blades and shields, to be weilded for women. If I don't find the woman for which I am to be weilded...I don't know what I'll do.
Sorry for babbling on about that for so long.

Work
I'm about to leave for work in a little under two hours. It's volunteer work so I can leave pretty much when ever I want to, but I'll stick around for a while.
After that, I'm not sure what I'll do today. Maybe take a nap.
Well, I've got a few things to do before I leave, so goodbye my friends.

Questions:
1) Have you seen the DaVinci Code?
2) The Lord of the Rings or Final Fantasy?
3) Book or movie?
BloodRayne, Artists, Evangelion...
Yesterday was a good day. Even though it's over 90 degrees, it's nice to have a change, and summer is a great season in my opinion.
I played some BloodRayne2 today. Fun game. Never gets old, either. I've played it like five times.
I also read some of Onegai Teacher, the manga. That artist (Shizuru Hayashiya) is so good. One of the best. I'd say he (or she, not sure which) and Tite Kubo (the artist of Bleach) are the two best I've seen.
Also, yesterday I asked two true or false questions. Both were true. Most Dhampirs are male. And the eldest vampires in most cultures are female.
Well, Angelus out!

Questions:
1) What do you most want out of life?
2) Which anime character has the hottest voice?
3) For the ladies: do us guys look better with facial hair, of shaved?

And one final pic before I depart...the absolutely gorgeous Laura Bailey, the woman who supplies the voice for the equally beautiful Lust from FullMetal Alchemist:
Beat the Heat with...Cowboy Bebop...
Well, what to write...yesterday was HOTTTT. It's offically summer here, and I am melting. I sat infront of a fan and watched Cowboy Bebop for a good portion of the day. Which is fundamentally flawed, for seeing Faye Valentine did not aid my attempts at lowering my body temp. lol
I was at odds with my parents yesterday as well, which is never fun. They were freaking out, because I "don't express myself". My whole point in not bothering them with my problems was so they would relax more. And now apparently my plan has given me the exact opposite result. *sigh* I just hate talking about myself. So I'll stop now.
Apart from that, nothing much happened to speak of...I just watched Will & Grace...that's a funny show...what else...nothing...so here's the daily stuff.

Questions:
1) Most Dhampirs (half-human, half-vampire) are male. True or false?
2) In most cultures, the oldest vampires are female. True or false?
3) Would you say vampires are more like demons or angels?

Sei and Amy from "Burst Angel"
Now that's the spirit!
Ice Man and Shadowcat (she's so cute)
Psylocke (I asked yesterday is anyone knew who this character is - she's from X-MEN, and made a brief appearence in the new movie)
Juggernaut
I saw X-MEN 3: The Last Stand! It was excellent. There were many things that at first made me mad, but once it ended, all was properly wrapped up...or, rahter, not wrapped up. It's hard to explain without spoiling it. It was very to-the-comics, though, which was cool.
And the best part of the whole thing was Juggernaut! Just as I anticipated! I love that guy! He and Venom have always been my favorite Marvel villains. Juggernaut's so cool, because he's impossible to harm. You could shoot him in the face with a shotgun and he'd just smile and punch you. lol
I'll post some pics of him sometime.
Also, a few days ago, I asked if anyone knew where "Underworld" takes place. many said London, which is an excellent guess, since so many of the characters have british accents. However, it takes place in Budapest, Hungary. And I also asked if anyone thought Vincent Valentine is a vampire. This is up for debate. Both sides could be argued.
Quote of the day: "Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut!" - Juggernaut...as the quote explains.
Questions:
1) Are you a Juggernaut fan?
2) Do you know who Psylocke is?
3) If you've seen X3, which do you think is a cooler character: Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde) or Rogue (Marie)?

Venom
Hello my technilogically bound friends.
What to write...well, today I am working in the Kid's Gym as opposed to the Youth Lobby. My boss transferred me for the day.
Apart from that...yesterday was uneventful. My internet connect was cut. Speaking of such, we've had tons of water problems lately. What does internet and water have to do with one another, you ask? Well, my street is being torn to bits by construction workers. Our cables and wires are being cut constantly. Which can be remotely irritating at times.
I played a bit of Ultimate Spider-Man today...that's a fun game, but rather simple. I hate games I can play with my eyes closed. Overall, I'm actually not a big game freak...rarely am I obsessed with one, and most of the time I feel I'm wasting my time when I play them.
Well, guess there's not much more to report...happy memorial day weekend!
Quote of the day: "Hunger..." - Venom from "Spider-Man"
Questions:
1) If someone offered you a symbiote, would you take it? (a symbiote is a suit that gives you near limitless strength, the ability to cling to walls, and shoot spider-man-like webs - but also can make you berserk. This is the type of suit Venom wears)
2) Which do you desire more: power or peace?
3) Do you want to see X-Men 3?
My answers:
1) Possibly...I'd love to me like Venom.
2) Peace, eventually...but sometimes power, when I'm angry. lol
3) Yeah.
Deep in Thought
Hello my friends.
Yesterday was fun. I spent much of the day working outside, moving wood from the front lawn (where it had been recently split) into the back, where it will be stalked. I worked from about 10 or so until nearly 3. Then I went and saw the DaVinci Code! And man was it awesome! An amazingly thrilling tale of epic proportion. I loved it so much. I have not read the book, but this film was so well done that it felt as if I were reading a book (every movie I have ever loved FEELS like a book to me, if you can understand that). I won't say anything to spoil it for you, if you do plan on seeing it. All I will say is that one of the reasons I loved it so much is because it held women in such high honor. We need more of that, if you as me. I swear Eve was framed by the church. lol Adam ate the damn apple first I tell ya!
Also, I believe I mentioned yesterday that I may not want a girlfriend. I guess that's not true. In reality, I'm dying to have a girlfriend. The problem is that...for starters, I worship women. The very ground they walk on is holy. My opinion of them being thus makes it very difficult for me to feel worthy of love from a woman. I know that I would never treat my girlfriend disrespectfully - I would serve her with unquestioned fealty. I kid you not when I say I would be more than willing to kill myself if it means that woman I love could live.
I think I might make things too complicated. My thoughts get so damn deep! Everything becomes one of life's great mysteries. Everything has so many angles and variables...
But I know that my destiny involves a woman. I feel as if I'm waiting for the day my master (my wife) will come and claim me, and I can finally serve my purpose - to defend her and cherish her, to be there to dry her tears, to be her rock in a storm, her shield against the rain, the tool under her command. Of course, she may not find me. I may have to seek her out. Nothing will keep me from my lady.

3) Movies or video games?

The Gods of the Resident Evil world
Nemesis (Alphonse13 - remember me telling you how hard this guy was to kill?)
El Gigante
And a creature that deserves a very honorable mention as one helluva hard bastard to kill,
The Garrador (which is one of my personal favorites - these guys are a blast to fight, becuase it's such a brain challenge. They're compleatly blind, so you could walk right past them and they'd never know you were there. That's walk, not run. But the trick is, once you fire your weapon, they're after you like a rabid wolverine. So you have to do alot of planning in order to defeat them)
