Well, that was a slightly horrific situation.
Quite a bit happened in the last day: For one, I asked the girl at my work if she would like to go to dinner with me. Despite my attempts, this was my first official "ask out" of a person I was not really a friend with already, so I was a little nervous...okay, REALLY nervous. It sucked. I've never gotten this worked up over a girl before. Anyway, long story short, she gave me quite a harsh "no". Don't misunderstand - I'm actually pretty okay with it. It was just rough while it was happening. I wasn't even that intent on asking her out, really. Over the last few days I had begun to think we didn't have any real chemistry, but my mother (of course) insisted I ask her. You see, I would prefer to date someone who has been my good friend for a long time. It would be cooler that way, if you ask me. So, to sum up all this mental vomit (I love that term): I asked girl out - girl said no - I said that's fine - I am in a severe state of mental shock. lol Just kidding.
Well, enough of that. How was everyone else's day yesterday? I hope you all enjoyed the springtime. Which begs the question: whence do you all get out of school? I got out Thursday, as I may have related in a previous post...

Finals
Hello, my dear internet confined friends. lol What to write...well, today is finals for me. Wish me luck! I have 90 minute in-class essay. I hope I do well.
Other than that...oh, as many of you know, I bought the Evangelion boxed set. And I have watched a grand total of four episodes today. Yeah. I went to bed at 10:30 last night, and woke up at 3:03 am. And I felt like it was 8 in the morning, so I put in Evangelion and watched two episodes. I started to feel tired again and so I went back to sleep. I woke up at 7:38, roughly, and then watched two more episodes. Then I took a warm bath, did some stretches, and ate breakfast while watching an episode of Burst Angel. So five anime episodes today. It's like Christmas! lol

Not much to report...oh, I watched "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" last night. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool! Awesome! Cloud kicked ass! But Reno was probably the most entertaining character.

Papers Due
Hello my friends! Today my final papers are due for their last look-over by my professor. I hope they meet her standards (which are pretty near impossible to reach {which is good - it means she's doing her job well}). My papers' titles are "Entertainment Dulls our Perception of Reality" and "The Violence of Pornography". I might post them, not sure.
And I also owe you all an overdue sorry for hardly ever being on Otaku...I think I only get to one or two sites a day. I've been so busy with finals.
Today I'm going to spend what little money I have left on hand on "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" and "Aeon Flux". I'm pretty sure both come out today. Anyway, after that, I am going to stop spending for a while. I've got to bulk up my acount over the summer. If I do, I should end up with slightly more than enough for my next year or two in college.

2) I like broad swords. They pack more of a punch, even if they are slower.

Wow, you all like the idea of a snake from your next pet, huh? Personally, I don't really care for them. But they can be kind of cool, I suppose.
Any way, not much to report. I have to go to work today, but other than that...
To answer Damion: no, I didn't buy the movies with the series. I'm still debating whether or not I want to see them. I've heard mixed reports.

Well, this morning and last night were devoted to family conversation that involved loud voices. Argh, this sucks. I hate arguements. I would go into what we were argueing about, but it's so involved...lots of backstory needed. Fortunatly it doesn't really involve me too much.
On a happier note, I've decided on my next pet. I'm going to get a parrot. A Sun something or other. It'll cost me 550 dollars, but I'll make that back in two weeks over the summer, so it's no biggie. And this bird (named Citrus) is so cute! I love her! She jumped onto my finger and immediatly crawled all the way up onto my shoulder! I'll post a picture of the breed soon.
I also bought the Neon Genesis Evangelion boxed set. Yeah. I was looking at the separate DVDs, and I decided to save myself some money and buy them all at once (which is considerably cheaper).

The Crow: City of Angels
I saw a really cool movie late last night: "The Crow: City of Angels". Anyone seen it? I thought it was really well made. Very dark and depressing, but very good nonetheless.
Well...what else to say...I'm thinking of buying a new pet. I can't decide between a pug dog or a cameleon. I've wanted both for a long time...any one have any ideas? Any pros and cons you're aware of? I'm not even sure if I'll get either...just thinking.
