Well, that was a slightly horrific situation.
Quite a bit happened in the last day: For one, I asked the girl at my work if she would like to go to dinner with me. Despite my attempts, this was my first official "ask out" of a person I was not really a friend with already, so I was a little nervous...okay, REALLY nervous. It sucked. I've never gotten this worked up over a girl before. Anyway, long story short, she gave me quite a harsh "no". Don't misunderstand - I'm actually pretty okay with it. It was just rough while it was happening. I wasn't even that intent on asking her out, really. Over the last few days I had begun to think we didn't have any real chemistry, but my mother (of course) insisted I ask her. You see, I would prefer to date someone who has been my good friend for a long time. It would be cooler that way, if you ask me. So, to sum up all this mental vomit (I love that term): I asked girl out - girl said no - I said that's fine - I am in a severe state of mental shock. lol Just kidding.
Well, enough of that. How was everyone else's day yesterday? I hope you all enjoyed the springtime. Which begs the question: whence do you all get out of school? I got out Thursday, as I may have related in a previous post...
