DDG- I never saw you leave the chat...maybe AIM was being retarded about it. But it kind of settled after a while.
Syk3- Goldie!
Shinmaru- I don't know who she is, but she's definitely hot. So yesh, bring her too ~_^
Well..today's been a small adventure. I went over to Time Warner Cable this morning to ask about getting a job. It's a local, and quite popular, cable company. Now, some of you may already know that I trained in the Air National Guard in cable/antenna/fiber optics. And when I got back, I really didn't take up the motive to go out and get a job in my area of training.
Well, yesterday, me and my father had a serious talk about what I was planning on doing the rest of my life. It was a harsh awakening, but I needed it. I need to get my priority in check. There was some arguementation, tears, and ultimately leaving me feel shamed. And I do, and it's my fault so please don't show sympathy. So this pep talk finally put the fire under my ass (figuratively speaking).
So this morning, getting back on track ^_^, I went to the TWC office. And I will say this, everything is going to computers these days! They told me to go to the website and submit an online resume. Well I did that. Actually, I just got done about twenty minutes ago.
Frankily, I'm rather scared. I've never written a resume. I don't have that much experience in my field. It's just a scarey thought to just jump into the saddle without the confidence of riding. I know the company will send me to their training, and I'll be partnered up with an experienced employee...but I'm really young, and I am just afraid of messing up someone's cable/internet.
Well..to climb away from that subject for a while, my oldest sister should be getting here right about *looks at watch*..actually, she should already be at the airport. Now, this sister is about 27-28. And I haven't seen her since I was...fifteen? Yeah, I haven't seen her in about 4 years. So I'm very excited.
If anything else comes to mind, I'll edit. Ciao!
