Hola! Hallo! Hi! Bonjour! Konnichi wa! *And
There is this black woman (Musings of A Diva) on wordpress.com who is married to this Japanese man, and they both live in Japan. In her posts, she talks about different things and issues that go on in her life while being in Japan. I find it interesting in one of her posts when she talks about "mixed cultures" when it comes to interracial marriages. She discusses in another post about how the racism in Japan is there, but there isn't a lot or is subtle ("...violent, like it is here in America" -my mom) from her experience (which is that she has yet to experience a lot of racism). She said that she's experienced "more hospitality than hostility." She also said that this doesn't mean black people should go "look" for rasicm, because we've become a sort of "look-out" for racism or have this expectation.

R A W R~ My moms computer blew up! (Not literally but it made noises). The Mother Board thingy doesn't work and it only lasted a couple months... So now we have to use my dads 2nd laptop. It sucks, cuz this laptop has Internet issues. Sometimes it works, sometimes it keeps reconnecting, and sometimes it kicks us off the Internet. But yeah... Now I'm waiting for my dad to come back from Texas so I can steal his other laptop...
