I saw this on TV and now its happening to me...
Meh is sleepeh...
Okay, so a while ago (like a month ago) I saw this TV program talking about e-mail scams. These scams don't are pretty stupid and many people can tell it's a scam, but there are still people who get dooped by this (they're really nice and think they are helping a cause or think they'll make a quick buck). I call these scams "Help" A Cause or something like that... (can't think of a resonable name for it.) Anyway, let's actually get to what I'm talking about:
These "Finacial Schemes" are little e-mails that people send to get some money. They say that there is some money lying around or that they need some money to support their family. The setting these e-mails usually take place in is Africa (which is what the E-Mail I got said...). They say that by you sending in a large sum of money, you will be rewarded with tons of money. In the end, you're totally broke with no such award as promised, and the guy who dooped you has lots of YOUR money.
Many people decide they actually want to help these "needy" people or big-time accountants that have access to a huge sum of money, because they have a kind heart, or they are looking for a quick way to get some money ("Better and easier than the Lottery" they might think).
I never thought this would ever come to me, but since I edited my e-mail thingy so I could get mail from MyO, TP, and DA, well... Here's the e-mail. (I "assure" you that I didn't write this crap up. I'm not even sure I can put medium-big sized words into sentences such as that--or word it a certain way that makes it sound "mature." That and I think you and I both can spot some errors in this "letter.")
Oh, and also, some of these schemers cannot be really traced because they usually go to cyber bar thingies. but I know this one person who thought those who tricked people to get their money were like the scum of the Earth (well, not the scum of the Earth but he was annoyed about recieving messages like this one) so he decided to make the Schemers waste their time and money traveling all around thinking they'll get their money. In the end, the schemer is cleverly being toyed with. XD! I want to do that, but I won't... What would you do?

Dear Friend,
With due respect,I crave your indulgence as I contacted you in such a surprising manner, but I respectfully insist that you read this letter carefully as I am optimistic it will open doors for unimaginable financial rewards for both of us. I got your contact from a directory data in my search for a reliable and reputable person to handle a very confidential transaction that involves transfer of funds to a foreign account.
In a brief introduction,I am Mr George Abbey, the head of auditing and accounting department with a financial institution here in Lome,Togo West Africa. With due respect and regard, It is my pleasure to seek for your assistance in this confidential business transaction which will be of mutual benefit to both of us at the end.
In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of $15,500,000.00 (Fifteen million five hundred thousand United States Dollars) In an account that belongs to a foreign national,an oil consultant with Shell Petroleum company, who died in a car accident with his wife and only daughter on 26th November 1997. Since we got the information about his death,we have been expecting his next of kin or relatives to come over and claim his money because the bank cannot release it unless somebody officially applies for it as indicated in our banking guidelines, but unfortunately we learned that all his supposed next of kin died alongside with him in the event of the crash leaving nobody behind for the claim of his estate (Fund) with our bank.
Upon Maturity of the deposit, the fund was confined to a dormant status where upon we made this discovery, and It is a standard practice that after the expiration of Ten years the funds will be declared as an "Unclaimed Asset Resource" and the account is closed. My major reason for contacting you is because I wish to use your information to transfer this fund to a foreign bank account in your country.
All arrangement for the transfer of this fund has been legitimately made under a smooth arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. I Hope you will understand and assist effectively for the success of this transaction. Though this approach appears desperate but I assure you that everything will workout successfully.
I advise that you get back to me as soon as possible for more explanations and possible means of transferring this fund. Please be rest assured that as far as am concerned this transaction is 100% risk free because I have already covered every loop holes to avoid traces, and I will destroy every paperwork/documents related to this transaction as soon as the deal is over.
NOTE: Keep this very confidential and top secret I hope to retire peacefully and leave a Honorable business life afterwards.
