Well, for those of you who don't know, Madlax and Samurai 7 have been liscened. Madlax never really caught my attention, so I don't care that much, but Samurai 7...thats my number one fav. *sigh* I hope whoever got it wont edit it, and change the story when they dubb it. I know sometimes things change a little so the voice actors and the mouth movments match, but still...*sigh*...now I fear a bunch of kids running around and yapping about S7 and how much they love it, and they claim they know it all because they watched the dubbed version. Hmm..as you can guess I prefer subbed. ^_^ All well. I'll get over it. I plan to buy it when it comes out on DVD.
Anyway. I have yet, another question for you all. ^_^
Do you consider Anime to have to be made in Japan to be anime? What if it was made in America, or like in other places, like China (right?) and stuff. Do you still consider it Anime? Or Manga for that matter? Because it's Japanese animation. However, would you just consider a Anime made in someplace other then Japan as Anime, cause it's the style and art of it? I was just wondering cause I'd like to know how some people see it. I wanna make Anime or Manga for a career and I was wondering if people would find it just another American trying to make Anime.... |
