Home again...

So, Saturday was my last full day at the beach. All we did was hang out at the beach house and then later we went out to eat for Fathers Day at a seafood place called the Fish House. Sunday all we had time to do was get up, pack the car, and head home. We had to be out of the house by 10am. Five hour drive and whoo! I'm back again! My uncle died Saturday night so my mom is at his funeral right now. My dad's at work. I've stayed home to watch all my younger siblings. Oh, and it turns out my softball team only won by one run while I was gone. They were losing 10 to 1 and then came back to win 11 to 10. Oh man... ^^;; But they won so it's ok and I get to go play tomorrow night in the championship game. New fan art! You have to look at these first two. My nose is stuffy...

((Again, Ashley is me! I am Ashley! I'm the one on the trip! I'm just talking like it's a news report or something! Don't get confused!)) Once again we have gotten a chance to sit down and talk with Ashley. Ok, what exactly did you do yesterday? "Well, we rode a ferry boat out to Ocracoke Island and on the way I saw some kinda long, thin, four foot in length fish swim by! Anyway, once we got to the island we drove off the boat and found a beach access place where we could drive onto the sand. We hung out at the beach and I even swam this time! There was tons of sea weed crap in the water though and fish leaping into the air just a little ways out. Once the tide started coming in and the water came close to our car, we finally packed up to leave. We drove by where the boats docked to a place with picnic tables and had lunch. Then we went to the Ocracoke lighthouse and they were having a special thing where they let people inside only the bottom of it. They usually don't let you in at all. So we looked around in there and then got on another ferry boat and went back to the house." Sounds fun. Did you just.. go to bed after that? "No way! We hung out at the house a little and then had dinner and then we gathered up some wood and went to the beach. There we started a fire and cooked s'mores. There were some people beside us who were shooting fireworks in our direction.. But we're all fine. My mom, sister and brothers took the spotlight flashlight and went looking for crabs in the sand and got charged by a few of them. Then we finally returned home and slept." Haha, very nice. So... Hear any news of your softball team's game? "Actually yes. My coach sent my dad and email that said I needed to hurry back, meaning that we'll be playing in the championship game on Tuesday. I don't know the actual score yet but at least we won." Oh, good luck to you! Hmm, I have some viewer questions to ask you. "Alright, go ahead." First one: What's your favorite song? "My... song? Oh man, I can't pick just one! Umm... I'm really likeing Sooner or Later by Breaking Benjamin right now... I guess..." Ok! And that seems to be the only question we have for you. "Oh really? Aiyaa...

((Umm... I think somone thought I was talking about someone else in these. Again, Ashley is me. I'm referring to myself in third person. I'm the one on the trip.)) Once again we find Ashley preparing to leave. For what you ask? Well today they are to board a ferry boat [the boats where you drive your car on and it takes you across the water] and they're going to Okracoke Island to explore all day. They have wild ponies but they're pinned up so Ashley refers to them as "fake wild horses" and you cannot get her to say otherwise. We managed to get a short interview with her. First, we asked about her trip to the point yesterday and she really got talking, "it was great! The waters were warmer than at the beach house but they were still cold so I barely got in. I hate being wet and cold... But we had to drive our car along the sand to get there and parked right at the waters edge! There were people fishing everywhere. We saw at least three sharks on the shoreline and happened to be walking by as at least two people were reeling in fish. Seaguls would land in the water a foot away from you and wouldn't fly away. We walked all the way to the actual point of the point and there you can see the waves hitting each other coming from each side. It's like waves rolling into each other instead of onto shore." Well, I heard there was a touching area in the aquarium? "Yeah! They had sting rays in a tank where you could reach in and touch them and there was a kinda flat, toothless shark in there as well and it kept stopping under me so I could feel it. One sting ray came up to the surface under me as well so my little brother got to feel. They're actually really slimy.." You're looking kind of nervous. Any reason behind that? "Well, my softball team played in a tournament without me and two other key players last night. I'm hoping they won so I'll be able to play again when I return home. If they lost then we're out of the tournament. Oh, I have to go. I'll cya later!" And that was the short interview. Hope you enjoyed! We'll try to catch her again tomorrow. Mwaha...

It turns out the sound waters were lukewarm so Ashley went in with no problem. The water never got much deeper than to her kness though she didn't seem to mind. We asked her of her thoughts about it. "I loved that it was so warm because I hate being cold and wet. It made me kinda nervous though, seeing people pulling up crabs from the very water I was swimming in." Afterwards they all dried off a bit and went to see the fishing boats come back and watched them unload their catches. One caught a 250 pound blue marlin but they had to throw it back because it's not edible. Now she's heading off with her family once more to the point of north carolina to see if the ocean is any warmer there. Heheh...

((Yes, this is supposed to sound somewhat like a news story forecast thingie. xD)) We joined you today to continue the story on our very own Ashley of myOtaku. We were unable to get up with her yesterday because she was driving around with her family. When asked about it she replied with, "well, I am on vacation..." and then walked away. Apparently yesterday she rode with her family to an aquarium. They spent a couple hours exploring and then headed to fort Raliegh where the lost colony was and where Virginia Dare was born. I hope some of you are familiar with that story? Of the colony's mayor returning to England for supplies and, because of war, took three years to get back. When he arrived there was nobody left. Yes, after that Ashley went to Wendy's for dinner. Now today she woke up, had breakfast and changed into her swimsuit. She and her family are heading towards the sound where they can swim and see if the water is any warmer than the ocean. So far Ashley has not been able to force herself into the freezing ocean waters. Maybe the sound will be different? Tune in tomorrow to find out. 3rd Person Post xD

This is Ashley, coming to you live from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After an over five hour drive full of fussing and fighting siblings, she has arrived at her destination. Once there she changed and jumped in a hot tub where she met two little green tree frogs who sat beside her while she lounged. Sometimes she'd jump in the pool to briefly cool off and then straight back into the hot tub she went. Later that night, Ashley got her dad to set up the wireless internet and that is how she is now communicating with you. She has yet to go to the actual beach so she shall head there in a little while. She has her own room with a double bed and her own tv and bathroom and is very happy about that. We'll head deeper into this story tomorrow. Bye Bye...

[Two chapters added to my story as well as two new fanart!] Well, it's 1:16am so I guess technically I'm leaving for the beach today. Oh and don't think we're rich because we're renting a beach house. xD;; We got it for a really good price. Like $1,000 lower than usual. As I said, I'm taking my laptop so I'll be drawing and writing a lot hopefully, especially during the five hour drive, and the house is said to have wireless internet so I might come on to update and such! ^^ I know if I get a chance, I'll head to Gaiaonline.com so if you want look for me there. I'm -ProcrastinatingSpazz- and don't forget the -'s or you won't find me! Mwaha, Adult Swim rocks my socks. Sesshoumaru is without a doubt the coolest character on Inuyasha. He is by far superior to the rest. xD Yes... I am crazy. Mwaha...

[If you didn't look yesterday, then go check out my new fanart!] When I woke up today I had to immidiately get ready to go to a picnic held by my brothers' boy scouts troop. So I had a cheeseburger and cake for breakfast. xD But yeah, I ate and then threw softballs with my dad and now we're back home again. My mom and little sister went to Emerald Point with her girl scouts troop. Tomorrow we are leaving for the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We've rented a beach house and will be staying there until next Sunday. The house supposedly has wireless internet but yeah... I may not be on. Bringing my laptop though! xD I think it will mainly be used to my parents have a place to store digital pictures that they take and to check their email. Oh well, I know I'll get it sometime. Especially if there really is wireless internet. Anyway, Demon Diary is fun. I really liked it. ^^;; Now I'm listening to Naruto OSTs [Original soundtracks] and about to read my Love Hina manga. Fan art!

I have new fanart up. Other than that I can't really think of what to say. My old sketchbook was in like... twenty pieces but I forced myself to use it until every page was full and I finally did it so my mom got me a new, much better one that better not fall apart. ^^;; I think I'll spend today writing, drawing, and reading webcomics again. Meh...

Well, I think that my softball game that was rained out has been pushed back to the day we're leaving for the beach or something. Can't play in that one... I hope the team can still win without me and our catcher! We're the top two hitters and I'm being serious, not bragging, ok? I think they can do it though. Playing a team that has only won two games and we've only lost one. ^^ Because of make up games, I might make it back in time for the tournament! But this morning I was woken up and had to go to the doctors to have some blood drawn. Really gross because I have to watch them do it. She missed my vien in my elbow pit [haha, I don't know what it's called ^^;;] and had to retry three times before she got it. There's a bruise around where the needle went in now. Afterwards me and my mom went to Bojangles and I had breakfast since I couldn't eat before they drew the blood. Next we went to drop off our boat keys at a place so they can fix whatever's wrong with the motor. Then we went to Wal-Mart to get my aunt a birthday card and a pool for one of my dogs since it's so hot outside. Hehe, just one of those plastic ones you set in your yard. Umm... Next we went to a pet store and looked at all the puppies and kittens and then we mailed the birthday card before finally returning home. And... I found another webcomic! Haha, yes I will post every good one that I find for ya'll to check out if you want to.
