Aiyaa...
((Umm... I think somone thought I was talking about someone else in these. Again, Ashley is me. I'm referring to myself in third person. I'm the one on the trip.))
Once again we find Ashley preparing to leave. For what you ask? Well today they are to board a ferry boat [the boats where you drive your car on and it takes you across the water] and they're going to Okracoke Island to explore all day. They have wild ponies but they're pinned up so Ashley refers to them as "fake wild horses" and you cannot get her to say otherwise. We managed to get a short interview with her.
First, we asked about her trip to the point yesterday and she really got talking, "it was great! The waters were warmer than at the beach house but they were still cold so I barely got in. I hate being wet and cold... But we had to drive our car along the sand to get there and parked right at the waters edge! There were people fishing everywhere. We saw at least three sharks on the shoreline and happened to be walking by as at least two people were reeling in fish. Seaguls would land in the water a foot away from you and wouldn't fly away. We walked all the way to the actual point of the point and there you can see the waves hitting each other coming from each side. It's like waves rolling into each other instead of onto shore."
Well, I heard there was a touching area in the aquarium? "Yeah! They had sting rays in a tank where you could reach in and touch them and there was a kinda flat, toothless shark in there as well and it kept stopping under me so I could feel it. One sting ray came up to the surface under me as well so my little brother got to feel. They're actually really slimy.."
You're looking kind of nervous. Any reason behind that? "Well, my softball team played in a tournament without me and two other key players last night. I'm hoping they won so I'll be able to play again when I return home. If they lost then we're out of the tournament. Oh, I have to go. I'll cya later!" And that was the short interview.
