Samurai Deeper Kyo

Ever seen it? Or read it? I had read half the first manga so when I started watching the anime, it caught me off guard. The first scene that I read happened, but was changed slightly. Then the other scene that I read was entirely skipped over and is yet to happen. Anyone know how many episodes there are? I've seen 19 but I have 26. I hope that's it because that's all I saw on the site.
