What is true
To what I have become?
The things you've gone thru
I've been so foolish, so dumb

I wish I could change
That things could be true
These things I caused, this pain
How could I've been so cruel?

The things I say
The thoughts of me gone,
Are forcing me away
And now it won't be long.

She tried to help me out
And I shoved her away
And now I'm a route
That's leading me astray

I'll be gone by 'morrow*
So I will say something to you,
You may have some sorrow
But this love is true
