To answer you questioning comment, no, Kagome didn't used to date Kouga. He kidnapps her after learning that she can see the Shikon no Tama's shards. He does this hoping she will help him defeat the 'Birds of Paradise' who have a jewel shard and eat Kouga's wolves. Kouga's the 'prince' or 'leader' of his pack. Kagome helps him out, seeing later than he isn't a bad guy after all - and lets Kouga escape when Inuyasha tries to kill him. Kouga shows up in later episodes as well. Hope that helps. Inuyasha is a great show... Sesshoumaru's the best in my opinion ^^. I'm going to add you as a friend, ok?
