CH.2
“Hano, what’s your problem?” Tala asked as he pulled a lot of supplies out of a mysterious sack.
“It’s twelve o’clock, in the middle of the night, during summer, and we’re on top of the Rika Uni Museum,” Hano sighed, “What’s not my problem?”
Hano leaned back against the railing at the edge of the sky roof, put his hands behind his head, and closed his eyes.
Tala went back to picking the sky roof’s lock, “That’s not all, is it? You’re thinking of that mortal.”
“Yeah,” Hano said, opening his eyes, “I just can’t help it.”
“Forget her, it would have never worked out.”
“Yeah, I know, Tala,” Hano sighed, standing up straight as the sky roof swung open, “I know.”

“Sister, I’m hungry,” Ri complained, “and these antiques are creeping me out.”
“Stop complaining, Ri, it’s our job to protect said places that are in danger of being attacked by demons,” Kya replied. “Anyways, we should split up, Ri,” Kya added as she walked away from her sister.
“Wait! Kya, where did you go?” Ri yelled after Kya, but Kya didn’t answer.
Ri sighed and started to walk around. As she neared a corner, she stopped.
“Hey, is that someone talking?” Ri said to herself.
Ri strained her ears and listened, but heard nothing else.
“Stupid, you’re hearing things,” She scolded herself, and walked off towards a wall in which hung a giant artifact inside a glass casing.

“Hano, go look for the yin-yang, okay?” Tala commanded, handing Hano a glass cutter.
“Right,” Hano said, taking it from him and dashing off into the shadows.
X X X (LATER)
Tala was looking for a jewel when he saw someone else in a passageway up ahead.
“Who’s there?!” The person yelled.
As she, the person, spun around, Tala gracefully jumped behind a pillar, and out of sight.
“Who is that mortal?” Tala thought to himself as he peeked around the pillar, “She’s beautiful! But what’s she doing here?”
X X X (MEANWHILE)
Hano snuck through the building, his jet black jeans and shirt rustling as he moved from place to place; until he came to a giant wall. With a smirk on his face, Hano sealed the wall and crept along this new found floor.
He then looked around awkwardly before making his way towards a bright light to his left.
“This is the way, I remember the way to the Celestial Yin-yang,” Hano thought.
He crawled along towards the light; only to see a girl with blue hair and red eyes leaning up against the yin-yang’s case.
“Damn it! I can’t steal that while she’s there, I’ll make a total fool of myself,” Hano gagged.
He stood as still as he could.
“Come on, move! Hano thought.
“Ri!” A voice floated in from another room.
“What?” The girl below yelled back.
“God her voice is beautiful. What? Quit it.” Hano thought, shaking his head and scolding himself.
“Come here,” The voice bellowed, sounding displeased.
The girl sighed and left. Hano breathed a sigh of relief and moved over to the yin-yang, wondering if the girl and the person who owned the voice were siblings. Tala was the only one who ever got like that with him. Once again nodding off his thoughts, Hano took out the glass cutter from his pant’s pocket and cut the glass surrounding the yin-yang.
X X X (MEANWHILE)
“What is it, Kya?” Ri asked, running over to her sister.
“Did you see anyone, or hear anything, because the jewel’s gone,” Kya answered, not looking at Ri, and motioning to where the jewel had once stood.
“What?! I thought you were watching it!” Ri yelled in dismay.
“Don’t yell, and yes, but I left it for a few seconds,” Kya explained, calmly.
“Why?” Ri said.
This was certainly a side of Kya that Ri had never seen before.
“Because I heard someone walking,” Kya protested seeing the look on Ri’s face.
