Hey everyone, how are all of you? Good, I hope. ^^
~Internet smackdown~
I know I promised everyone that I would be around to visit sites the last time I was on theO, and I would have made it, too, but AOL wouldn't let me on. I tried every screen name, which consists of my moms, my dads, my brothers and mine, but none worked. Aol just told me that we weren't a known member at the time. I told my dad, and he told me to let it go until Sunday night, so I did. Well, my dad then got on internet explorer and talked to someone on AOL who gave us a number to call aol. When we did, they told us that my dad's screen name, which is the master screen name, sent 40 peices of junk mail to 69 different people and violated the terms of service saturday at 2pm. The funny part of it was, my dad hadn't been on since earlier that week on Wednesday. So, someone hacked our system and sent those emails to shut us down. Now, we had to change our passowrds and everything. I sat and thought about it for awhile and the only conclusion I could come up with is that because aol had opened its email services this happened. I'm okay with the fact that's its opened now, but if this continues to happen there could be a problem.
Schedule and 8 more days until school
Everyone I know is very eager to go to school, but I'm worried about the schedule for them. Britt and I deciphered it easily enough, but all my other friends are having problems. You see it just has one long line, with semester ones and twos and all year periods jammed together. for instance, for me there are 3 6th periods listed, but 2 are for semester one, in which the first is for day one, and the other is for days 1,2 and 3, and the last of the three is for semester two. So, as you can tell, it looks pretty messy if you don't look at all of it at once. lol. I've also been advised once again to get a lock for my locker, but I also hear we are allowed to keep our backpacks with us at all times. Ah well, hopefully the orientation on Friday will clear things up for them, and for me.
~Laundry and Books~
The new sequel to my favorite book twilight by Stephanie Meyers is out. It's been out for about 2 weeks now, and over the days I've been getting more and more desperate to get my hands on it. It just so happened that today, while I was playing Kingdom Hearts II for the 4th time, trying to get the the part where Riku comes in, my mom said something about me folding the laundry. My brain automatically picked out the words "Kayla" and "laundry" and "needing to be done" and I quickly refused. However, as the conversation continued, I let slip that I wanted the book, and once again my mom said, "The laundry needs done." It went quiet for about 30 minutes, my playing my game, and my mom working on her college paper. All that time, my brain had been maulling over how much I wanted that book, and what I wouldn't give to have it when it slowly clicked. XD I paused the game and slowly turned to look at my mother, and said, "Mom, if I were to do the....." I did and involuntary shudder here, I hate doing what my parents nag me to do, because if I do it, they expect it more often. "Laundry. Will you give me the money to buy my book?"
My mother smiled cunningly. It was obvious this was what she had wanted out of me all along. She knew that she was going to have to buy me the book eventually because she couldn't stand it when I whined, but this way she would at least get a bit of labor out of me. XP So, now I have 2 laundry baskets to fold, and one to wash.
Boring
I've been looking over my posts and I have to wonder if I have been boring you. So, have I? I try to make them as lively as possible with my limmited time these days, but are they? However, since this post is long, there will be no song lyrics or question. Sorry.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY, GUYS. I WILL BE AROUND TO VISIT SITES.
