hey, thanks for signing my guestbook, and I do know what the NERV logo stands for;first of all, the words underneath say "God's in his heaven, all's right with the world." that is a quote by Robert Browning, a 19th century poet. that means that God's in heaven and not with us, kinda like he abandoned us. the fig leaf is a symbol of the original-sin that Adam and Eve commited. it also represents humanity's fall from grace, but also it's wisdom, which is nicely demonstrated by NERV who is using its knowlegde to counteract God.
