My Day
Hi. My day sucked. Seriously sucked. My science teacher can be such a b****! On our assignment, it said to find something interesting on an earthquakes. Well, I said, "But there's nothing interesting about it." And do you know what she said? "Fine. Just don't put anything and get points taken off." God, she sure gets the award for "Teacher that doesn't particularly care" when a.) you don't understand something (which is always for me in science), or b.) when there is a possibility of points getting taken off. Do you know what I got on the 1st semester exam in science? Around 70-75. The way she teaches the material, I do not understand it. Why do I not go to tutorials, you might ask? Gee, maybe because they are during ADVISORY, and she has 2nd advisory when I have 1st; I use my advisory time to STUDY for Spanish; it's inconvenient for me; I have no one to sit with if I switch lunches, etc.
Then in Math, I have a ton of makeup work from when I was out sick. I ask my teacher for help, and guess what she says. Hmmmm... 9-letter word, mentioned in above paragraph; gee, I wonder... TUTORIALS! I understand the stupid area and volume crap, it's just that I can't do it certain ways, i.e. word problems. Also, it is NOISY in my math class, and with my A.D.D. (at least that's why I think I have trouble) it scrambles the numbers in my head and I screw up some multiplication or addition problem. I (usually) have no problem on the math tests, possibly because it's actually QUIET in there for a few minutes, and I usually understand the material.
I haven't played video games in days. All I've been doing is work, work, work, work, work. It sucks. I hate it, but I want to keep my grades up. I don't really see a point in English or Science. We know how to speak English, what's the point in TAKING English? I personally think that if you do well in it up to around sixth grade, you shouldn't have to continue taking it. I'm good at spelling, just not good at writing tests. And Science is BORING. I absolutely HATE it! And ART! GOD, I HATE ART SO MUCH! It is SO BORING! I signed up for ELECTRONIC MEDIA ARTS and what do they do? They combine ADVANCED ART WITH ELECTRONIC MEDIA ARTS WITHOUT TELLING US!!! So I never had a chance to get a schedule change. It seemed easy at first, but now it's HARD. I hate it.
Well, g2g now. I have to work on a project.
