ok, a quick update before the story! i am going on a feild trip today! @ our school, we have no busses (small school) so parents volunteer to drive us....my mom volunteered......not so bad right? not when they put me in a car with ALL boys!!!! not just that! but they're all boys who other people think i like! (WHICH I DONT) so everyone is laughing hysterically about it!!!! *sigh* ok, now that you know whats up....here's the story!

Yumi pulled her hair back. She rolled her neck and shoulders. Finally, she stood in a defensive stance and waited for Michiyo. “You can’t be serious.” Michiyo looked at her long and hard. Yumi smirked and said “Bring it.” “Yumi, I don’t want to fight you. You’re my friend.” Michiyo didn’t move. That seemed to touch Yumi somehow, but she hid it with a smirk. In one swift movement, Yumi charged for Michiyo. She rammed Michiyo so hard, that she hit the rock side next to the falls with a loud thud. “Michiyo!” Zoro shouted. “No! I’m fine! Don’t interfere!” Michiyo said as she stood up painfully. “So that’s how ya wanna play?” Michiyo flipped her hair back. This time, Michiyo was the one charging. But Yumi kicked her in the gut, once again, sending her flying. Another painful thud. For a moment, Michiyo laid curled in a ball; holding her stomach. “Ooh…sounds like she busted a rib or two.” Sanji said with a frown. Michiyo looked over to her side. She saw two of Zoro’s swords lying on the ground. She quickly stood up to see Yumi wielding the third one. Michiyo quickly grabbed one and stood still. “Hey! Yumi put down Kuina’s Wadou Ichimonji!” Zoro was fuming. Ignoring him, Yumi ran towards Michiyo full speed. Surprisingly, michiyo bloked Yumi’s blow. The two girls swords were locked together. “Yumi, don’t do this. Violence leads only to pain!” Michiyo struggled slightly. “Yeah. Pain for you!” Yumi pushed michiyo back a few steps.
The fight raged on like this for several minutes. Michiyo had never held a sword in her life, and here she was fighting her best friend with one. Zoro was surprised that she was doing so well. “Yumi, please, stop this! You’re my best friend!” Michiyo screamed. Yumi looked down. “I have no friends.” She replied coldly.
At one point, Yumi had somewhat tackled Michiyo. But Michiyo kicked her off and stood up before Yumi could reach her sword. Michiyo held the sword to Yumi’s throat. For a moment, everything was silent. Michiyo and Yumi were both breathing heavily. Michiyo looked down into her once good friend’s eyes and sighed. She furrowed her brow and shook her head. “That’s it. It’s over. Get outta here.” Michiyo said quietly as she threw down the sword. But as she turned to leave, Yumi jumped up, grabbed both swords and slashed Michiyo’s back. Michiyo was forced a few feet in the air before she skid across the ground, writhing in pain. Yumi droped the blood staind swords on the ground and tried not to cry. Zoro and Sanji ran to Michiyo’s side. But she pushed them away. She painfully stood up and stared at Yumi. Breathing heavily, she said “Fine, you win.” She held her arms out to her sides and waited. “Go ahead, finish me off.” Shaking, Yumi pulled the gun from her pocket. Zoro jumped, wanting to help Michiyo. But Sanji held him back. “Wait...” he said quietly.
After a long silence, Michiyo began to smirk. “Go ahead. Kill me. Or is something holding you back?” “Shut up…” Yumi’s voice was wavering. “Come on! Shoot me!” Michiyo screamed at her. Zoro tried to lunge again, but Sanji held him back. Yumi had tears streaming down her face. Michiyo took a step forward. Shaking, Yumi closed her eyes and pulled the trigger.
It seemed like the whole island grew silent. Yumi stared at the smoking gun in her hands, wide eyed. She looked up to see Michiyo. The bullet had gone into her shoulder. Her mouth hung open and her eyes grew wide. Suddenly her eyes rolled back and she collapsed. “No…” Yumi whispered. Zoro ran to Michiyo’s side. Sanji stood paralyzed. He thought the same thing Michiyo had. They both thought Yumi would have given up or even break down in guilt. He turned to Yumi and glared. “Ya happy? Get lost!” he screamed at her. “Sanji…” she couldn’t see straight, through the tears. He ignored her and turned to help Michiyo. Yumi bit her lip and clenched her fist. She took a deep breath and turned to leave. But she stopped and without turning said “That earthquake earlier was really a cave in. Luffy and the others are trapped inside a cave just north of here…” she turned to leave again. All of a sudden, Michiyo gasped for breath. She painfully turned on her side and coughed up a little blood. With a smirk, she turned her body towards Yumi. “Yumi, I won’t forget this.” She weakly raised her head and smirked. Yumi stopped and surprisingly smirked also. “We will meet again. Next time, I will be ready…” she then disappeared into the forest without another word.
Michiyo grabbed her side in pain but forced a smile. “We will meet again soon.” She said almost to herself.

As Yumi left, Michiyo tried to sit up. But immediately she hit the ground holding her ribs. “We need to get her to Chopper.” Zoro said to an un-responding Sanji. After a short period, he blinked and shook his head, like he had been in a haze. He nodded and kneeled down to look at Michiyo. “Two slashes to the back,” Sanji began. “A bullet in her shoulder, and…” he put his hand on her stomach. She jolted up from the pain and let out a cry. Sanji sighed and stood up. “Two broken ribs.” Zoro looked down at Michiyo. She looked up weakly at him. “I’ll be alright. I… I think I can walk.” She tried to stand up, only to stagger and almost fall. Zoro caught her arm, which made her wince. Zoro put her arm around his shoulder and Sanji did the same. “We need to help the others.” Zoro said looking into the distance. As if on queue, they heard a scream of terror coming closer to them. Zoro dropped Michiyo’s arm, letting her lean on Sanji. He picked up his swords, two of which were covered in Michiyo’s blood.
He waited. Out of nowhere, Usopp came running out of the foliage. “It’s after me! Help! Help!” Usopp hid behind Zoro. Out from behind a bush, came a little wild boar. It got one look at Zoro and went squealing into the forest. Usopp, still shaking, said “aha! My plan to scare that pig away worked brilliantly!” Zoro, who usually made a sarcastic remark by now, turned his attention back to Michiyo. Sanji handed Michiyo over to Zoro. “Hey Usopp, where are the others?” Usopp was still trying to catch his breath. “They’re…stuck in a…cave…” “Huh. So Yumi wasn’t lying.” Sanji said almost to himself. “Well, lead the way.” Zoro said as Sanji came over to help him with Michiyo. “Whoa! What happened to her?” Usopp said referring to Michiyo. “We’ll tell ya on the way”
As the made their way through the thick jungle, Michiyo started to feel weaker. At one point, Sanji and Zoro were actually dragging her. Suddenly, Michiyo’s legs just gave in. breathing heavily, she tried to stand, but couldn’t. She barely had enough energy to open her eyes. She felt herself being picked up. She slightly opened her eyes to see she was on Zoro’s back. “I’m sorry.” She whispered to him.
To keep her mind off the pain, Zoro said “you’re pretty good with a sword; maybe later I’ll give ya a pointer or two.” “Be careful, I might just take you up on that.” Michiyo said as she smiled weakly.
The four made their way through the denseness until they came to a large cave. Or what was left of it anyway. Zoro laid Michiyo down gently and went to help the others move rocks. After a short while of toiling, they heard what sounded like Luffy. “What the? Gum gum…everyone down!” Sanji screamed. Rocks went flying everywhere. “Luffy! You idiot!” Nami, Sanji and Zoro shouted simultaneously.

Michiyo heard a large boom and waited several seconds. She could hear everyone arguing. She also heard Luffy say “hey...what happened to Michiyo?” The last thing Michiyo remembered before blacking out was Chopper looking down at her, with a worried expression.

Zoro and Sanji explained how Yumi had supposedly turned on all of them. They also told how Michiyo and Yumi had battled it out, and how Yumi cheated last minute. Well, it was more of Zoro telling them. Sanji pretty much kept quiet. He had fallen behind in the group and walked slowly. Noticing this, Nami came up beside him. “Hey, you ok?” Nami
Looked at him, slightly worried. “Yea, I’m fine.” He said with a small smile. Nami patted him on the back and said “We found boatloads of treasure!” Sanji smiled a little wider.
Back on the ship, Chopper worked frivolously to help Michiyo. After that, he checked on Sanji’s head and Zoro’s leg. “How is she?” Zoro asked as chopper came out from her cabin. “She took quite a beating, but she’s fine.”
