Naruto? Naruto!
*look at first comment under last post for backstory* So, Naruto is going to come to Cartoon Network finally? Awesome. I gotta get better on keeping tabs on what's playing where, etc. I have a subscription to Shonen Jump coming should start next month... I've been reading some of the Naruto manga in there. I read the Eyesight 21 preview also - THAT's one I'd definitely like to see if there's an anime series for it yet. Demon high school football team stories rock! ha! But yes - that is a *very* good series from what I've seen. Fruit Baskets looks funny although I've only read volume one of the manga.
Urk... someone's got me started writing fan fiction. Like I needed yet another addiction/obsession. lol.... I just started two at a Kagome/Sesshoumaru pairing site. They aren't done and I'm not sure if they are any good. LOL. But that's o.k. It's time-wasting fun. hehehe. Anyway, I updated the Inuyasha section on Anime Moon and it has links to my user ID at the fan fiction site as well as other update information... Look for a new poll to come to the main page shortly.... (it updates auto as soon as I change it out...)
So much anime - so little time!!! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Where have I been?
Sorry everyone - I know I've not written in here in forever. I think I have some sites to visit, so I will do that! I've got to start to writing in here regularly too... I did finish an anime (Sesshoumaru) layout on my Xanga Journal that I think is pretty cool although I'm not entirely done with it yet. I have, however, been updating Anime Moon, the site this is tied to, a good bit more regularly. I have a poll going so vote because whatever
gets the highest votes by this weekend, I'm going to work on. So far it looks like Inuyasha overwhelmingly followed by Read or Die. Does anyone know if Cartoon Network (or any other station) plans to show the Read or Die series?

InuYasha
I got some InuYasha DVDs for the holidays... I just LOVE the Japanese voice acting.
Addicted to the Adult Swim online game... http://www.adultswim.com/games/inuyasha_demon/index.html
Not bad for an online freebie...
The new Inuyasha's should start January 11th at 12:30 EST on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Holidays?
It's going to be the end of the year before I know it... that's the way everything is going so fast.... it's actually supposed to be warm this weekend even though it snowed twice earlier this week. *ROFL* That's Kansas for you. I should be busier on wrapping and decorating and all that stuff, but do you see me moving my butt from the computer chair? Nope. What does everyone think of FullMetal Alchemist so far? I really like it... I think some of the flashback scenes were a little forced... but it's probably different if you watch it back to back instead of one episode per week. lol.

InuYasha
I can't believe we have to wait until January 5 to see the new InuYasha episodes (here in the U.S.). Cartoon Network is evidently going to show reruns until then. *sighs*

Gungrave
I'm getting into the anime shown on G4TechTV station, especially Gungrave. I am a huge fan of shows on underworld crime politics, but I think this is the first anime I've seen on the subject.

Read or Die
Watched the Read or Die movie last night on Cartoon Network. Very unique idea... I'm hoping they have plans to show the OAV (series) also - it's supposed to be out on DVD in 2005 or 2006. Something like that.
Also saw that they've started reairing the Rurouni Kenshin series. (yay!) I don't care how many times I've watched it - I love that series.

Updates and such
I'm working on Anime Moon, trying to figure out why one of the navigation buttons isn't wanting to show up. My slow-as-molasses self finally added a Wolf's Rain page. Perfect timing now that they've wrapped up the series on Cartoon Network. -.-* Oh well. I did some other updates too on other pages, minor stuff mostly.
Hey if you go to http://www.animenation.net and add your link to their database you get entered to win a free issue of a manga series. Also, they have a fan art contest going on as well. And then an 'if you buy something' contest... But I have no money, so there. lol.
Has anyone heard anything about the Vampire Hunter D novels being translated into English? I know there was talk about it a couple of years ago, but I've not heard a single thing since. I'd love to read them.

InuYasha show time changed
For those who watch InuYasha on Cartoon Network (in the US), it's moved from just once a week on Saturday nights to Monday-Friday nights at 12:30 EST/11:30 EST starting tonight. So don't miss it. lol. Some of the new serieses debuting in November on Saturday nights include Full Metal Alchemist.

Who hoo
Looks like I have yet another art project! Yes, I needed another one! Really. Especially one that pays decently, like this one should... Anyway, that's it from me for today.
