Woo new chapter sorry for the delay. Damn writers block! also it works best if you the FMA sad music. You'll see why.....
I walked into my bakery silence. No one was there. The room was in ruins. “What the hell happened here?” I looked around for any traces of kidnapping.
A small knife was stabbed threw a note on the counter, I ripped it off to read it.
Aki,
I guess by now you know that your precious little friends are gone. Here’s the deal you come to that abandoned building that was closed because it wasn’t stable enough to hold a damn thing up I can never remember the name so I just hope that you know what I’m talking about. Your friend’s hope so lets meet at five o’clock I’ll give you an extra hour to get there or else they die. I’m planning on killing them in the worse way possible slowly oh yes and Zoë will die first seeing how she’s your best friend. I’m sure Mercy will heart broken if her sister died. She might even beg me to kill her. How fun can’t wait to see you!
Dearly,
Aeon
I glared at the name I laughed at how stupid she sounded. I grabbed the knife it was lightweight it was similar to the one Kafele found in his shoulder. I chucked it at the wall it stuck to it. I knew were to go I needed to prepare myself though. I rushed upstairs pushing items aside I shoved my pocket watch into my pocket it would prove to be of some use if I needed to perform alchemy on something. I searched every were for my gun but I had no luck. She must’ve taken it. I sighed I grabbed my sunglasses I ran downstairs. I stopped to see if I needed anything else. I shrugged my shoulders I pushed my glasses up onto the bridge of my nose. I walked into the doorway. “Aki!”
“Havoc? What are you?” I looked at him he was sitting in a car.
“You forgot this at Head Quarters.” He handed me my harmonica and got out.
“My harmonica!” I reached out and grabbed it. “Thank you so much Havoc!” I hugged him. “Havoc I’m going to be gone for a little while and I don’t know if I’ll be coming back.” My heart became heavy.
“What why?” there was a brief moment of silence, “she’s back isn’t she?” I nodded my head softly averting my head to disguise the depression on my face. He touched my cheek lightly. I looked at him.
I looked at the ground, “I’m sorry Havoc I have to go now.” I turned to leave he grabbed my hand. I stopped. I didn’t look at him I didn’t say anything. I looked at him concern crossed over his face. “I have to go. Alone. I’m sorry I have to go but their lives are on the line because of me.”
He pulled me into a tight hug, “I’m coming with you.” He whispered in my ear.
I pulled away from his grip, “You don’t have to come with me I’m not forcing you to-“
“No I have to protect you. You can’t fight her on your own.” He hugged me again.
“I don’t need to be protected Havoc. I’m strong and I’ll survive.” Tears were threatening to form.
I pulled away from him again, “I don’t want you to get hurt Aki. That’s why I insist on coming with you.”
I nodded. “If you come with me though just be careful. If you get hurt I won’t be able to forgive myself.”
He nodded in agreement. I took his hand and pulled him along. We reached the abandoned building. It seemed like hours. I checked my pocket watch it was closing in on six. I was stunned at the time. I clasped the pocket watch shut and stowed it away in my back pocket. I looked at the door and gave a short sigh. I walked up to it and grabbed the knob I bite my lip in an attempt to free my mind of fear. Havoc came up close behind me and put a hand on my shoulder. I opened the door wide. All of my friends were bound, crying or glaring. I looked around Mercy was staring at something tears overflowing. I looked in the same direction my eyes grew wide. There lay a corpse lying in its own blood. There stood the figure. It turned to look at me, “Oh hello Aki. Sorry my finger slipped.” She laughed.
I realized now who it was on the ground, “Zoë?” I stated in shock. My eyes began to form up with tears. I shut them tight. “You promised.”
“So I did. Did you really think that I would keep a promise?” she laughed.
“How could you kill some one who you lived with for almost ten years?” I sobbed.
“Easy I just pull the trigger.”
“Why though?”
“Aki anyone who trusts you should die. You can not be trusted.”
“Just shut up.” I wiped the tears away as fast as possible.
“Are you crying? Typical. You can’t stand to see people die.”
I bit my lip to stop myself from sobbing. I looked at the ground. Tears fell to the ground. “I can’t let you live for what you’ve done.” I clapped my hands and blew on them. Spikes of hard ice shot out towards her.
“Careful now. You might kill your friends.” She laughed.
I ran towards her and swung at her. She dodged.
“You seem slow today? Is the fact that your best friend is dead slowing you down?” she kicked me hard in the back. I fell to my knees.
“Aki!” Havoc yelled. I got up swaying a bit.
“Let me fight this Havoc. She’s going to pay for what she’s done.” I clapped my hands together and sprinted towards her. She moved out of the way and kicked me again.
“Your getting slower.” She shot me in the shoulder. I fell to my knees. “See you could’ve dodged that.” She aimed the gun at me, “don’t worry I’ll kill you fast.”
A gun fired Aeon looked in the direction it came from. I did the same. Havoc held a gun in his hand aiming it at her. I stood up and went to grab Aeon’s shoulder before I could she grabbed my hand and flipped me over onto the ground on my back. I looked up at the ceiling I was looking down the barrel of a gun. “I can’t… die… not now.” I sobbed.
“Quit your whining no one can live forever. Not even alchemy can do that.” Aeon looked at me sternly.
“I can’t leave until I…” tears came down my cheek, “I have to avenge my friends lives. I can’t…” I spoke with my heart in my throat.
“You’ll never be able to beat me Aki. So you can give it up now.”
“I can’t let any one die… not any more… I just can’t… let anyone suffer. Lives are ruined because of me. I can’t let that happen to anyone else.” I felt like I had to give up. I couldn’t let anyone get hurt because of me.
“Aki I’m getting sick of your attitude save your friends the pain of seeing their friends die and let me kill you. That’s the only way this will stop.”
“I can’t give up… if I died now I would leave behind so many people. So many things I’ve never done.” I looked at my shoulder. It was bleeding badly.
“Aki… you’d be saving those people’s lives. I’ll kill everyone you know. I’ve killed Justin, Zoë, and even your parents. What makes you think I’ll stop there?”
“My parents…”
“Yes I killed them when I was sixteen. First killing I ever did. I admit not killing you was a mistake. I should’ve ended it right there.”
“You… are were that woman… the one that I…” I remembered how it was a woman was at the door and had shot my father shortly after my mother. She told me that I was to take heed and not make their mistakes. Back then I didn’t know what she meant but now it was clear. “My parents are dead now… because of you.”
“That’s right Aki. You see back then I thought you were of no threat. Twelve years later I was proved wrong.”
“Twelve years later?”
“Yes Aki, you see twelve years after I killed your parents you killed my fiancé. I could never forgive you for something like that.”
I felt the path that my tears made go icy. “So you want revenge as well?”
“Yes… you killed the only person I ever loved.” She put her finger on the trigger.
I shut my eyes and waited to die. I was ready and more then willing I’ve ruined so many lives. More tears ran down my cheek. “What a stupid way to die…” I sobbed.
“I can’t sit back and watch you die!” Havoc yelled. A gun fired I guess it was Havoc. Aeon yelled in pain. I opened my eyes. Aeon was holding her hand and was bleeding badly.
“That was mistake… I think I’ll kill you first.” She raised her gun at Havoc.
I stood up and kicked her in the head. “Don’t touch him…”
“Your up again huh?” she laughed. “I thought for sure I’d be able to kill you this time.”
I clapped my hands and made my fingers into claws. I scratched her across the cheek. “I won’t die… not by you.”
She covered the cut with her hand, “Damn you!” I kicked her and punched her in the face. I continued to hit her until she was on her knees, “Your stupid if you think you of all people can kill me!”
“I don’t think I can I know I can.”
She scowled at me. “I won’t forget this Aki!” She got up and jumped out a window.
“Don’t just let her go! Go after her!” Mercy pleaded.
I walked over to her and started to untie the ropes that kept her bound. I walked up to all of my friends untying them. Everything was quite all that I could hear was Mercy’s sobs. My heart broke. She sat with her knees to her chest crying into them. I walked up to her and grabbed her shoulder. “I’m sorry that I couldn’t…” My own tears stopped me.
She looked at me. I wiped away my tears. “Aki?”
“Yes?”
“Do you remember the song that she would sing?”
“Yes I do.”
“Do you think that you could sing it?”
“Anything for you kid,” I patted her head and began to sing,
How can I repay you sister of mine?
How I can I expect you to forgive?
Clinging to the past I shared our blood.
And shattered your chance to live.
Though I knew the laws I paid no heed.
How can I return your wasted breath?
What I did not know has cost you dear,
For there is no cure for death.
Beautiful mother soft and sweet,
Once you were gone we were not complete.
Back threw the years we reached for you,
Alas it was not meant to be.
And how can I make commands?
For all that I took from you
I lead you with hopeless dreams.
My sister I was a fool…
Don’t cry for the past now sister of mine.
Neither you nor I are from it.
Nothing can erase the things we did,
For the path we took was the same.
Beautiful mother soft and sweet,
Once you were gone we were not complete.
Back threw the years we reached for you,
Alas it was not meant to be.
My dreams have made me blind and mute.
I long to return to that time.
I follow without a word.
My sister the fault is mine.
So were do we go from here?
And how to forget and forgive
What’s gone is forever lost.
Now all we can do is live.
I stopped. She wiped away some tears. “Thanks Aki.”
I smiled wiping away my own tears. “No problem. It’s the least I can do for an old friend.” I stood up, “come on. We should get going.”
“Going to where?” she stood up looking at me.
“To an orphanage.”
“No! You can’t take me there! You can’t! I’ll run away!”
“Relax it’s not what you think.”
“Then why do we have to go there?”
“You’ll see…” I thought to myself for a while. I new my plan I was going to adopt her and keep her safe.
I grabbed her shoulder, “Lets go Mercy.”
Havoc stood next to me. I was standing between the two people I cared about the most. I looked at them both. “Something wrong Aki?” Havoc asked me.
“No.” I smiled and grabbed his hand. I linked arms with Mercy. I was smiling. Havoc and Mercy were looking at me like I was nuts.
“What are you so happy about?” Mercy questioned, “I’d think that you’d be sad since your friend just died.”
“I am sad Mercy. I just chose to find the light. Remember Mercy to not be afraid of the shadows. It just means that there is a light near by.”
“What does that mean?”
“Look at it this way. Since my parents died I wouldn’t have become as strong as I am right now. I also wouldn’t have met you or Havoc. So I find the bright side of everything.”
“I guess that’s true.”
“Exactly! Now come on!” I ran out the door dragging Havoc and Mercy behind me.
I slowed down to let them catch up to me. “I’m glad to see you smiling Aki.” Havoc said wearily.
“Ya I really think that you would be little more sad. I’ve never seen you so happy before.” She paused, “Correction I’ve never seen you so happy after someone died!”
“Ya I got to admit but it is scaring me.” Havoc told me.
I laughed. I looked behind me, “Hey you guys doing okay?”
“We’re alright.” James was catching his breath.
Katie was red in the face. Kafele was standing next to her. Talking to her in his I’m-the-guy-who’d-die-for-you voice, “Hey Kafele stop flirting!”
Kafele grew red. I laughed. James walked over to him and pulled him away by the ear. Nicollette started to laugh “Serves you right you lecher!”
Mercy giggled a little. I patted her head. We were near the bakery. “Aki why are we going to the bakery I thought we were going to the orphanage.” She said harshly.
“I know but what would they think if they say me with a bloody arm?”
“Oh ya. I guess changing your outfit wouldn’t be a bad idea.”
“Good.” I laughed.
“She’s really starting to scare me.” Mercy told Havoc.
“Ya well you’re going to have to live with it!” I messed up her hair. She smoothed it back into place.
I looked up ahead. There was the bakery “I’ll be back in a minute or two. Okay?”
I ran in and climbed up the stairs almost falling down them. I opened my door and grabbed a dress one I hadn’t worn in a few years. I slipped it on it fit perfectly. I put on some shoes that were more comfortable then nice. I let my hair down and put in some earrings on. I put on a locket that I my mother had. I looked at myself in the mirror “I look like I’m a mother.” I twitched slightly. I looked at a ring that I had it was just a gold band that I had gotten for my birthday a few years back. I put it on. It completed the outfit. I sighed. I walked down stairs everyone was in there. I laughed uncomfortably Havoc looked at me like it was the first time he had ever seen me before. He was rocking back in a chair he fell backwards and landed hard on the floor. He stood up and walked over to me. “Hi Havoc.” I smiled nervously.
“Is that Aki?” Kafele asked Havoc standing next to him.
“I’m not sure. I think it is.” Havoc looked at me closer.
I looked at them both, “Oh shut up.” I pushed them aside. “Okay here’s the deal Havoc and Mercy are coming with me!”
“And what about us Aki?” Katie asked me.
“Stay here and do whatever. Now then let’s go!” I walked outside they two of them followed me. Havoc opened his car door and let us in. I took a seat next to Mercy. Havoc got in and started the car.
“Hey wait! Aki if there was a car then why didn’t you take it?” She scowled at me.
“First of Aeon has spies all over town. I had to take alleyways to get to where she had you guys. You have to keep the element of surprise on your side don’t forget that.”
“Aki I want to ask you something.”
“Go ahead. Ask away.”
“Can you teach me alchemy?”
I looked at her a little surprised. “Okay why?”
“I just wanted to learn…”
“Are you going to try and bring Zoë back?” she nodded without answering. “No.”
“What why?”
“I can’t let you do something so dangerous!”
“But I heard if you have this thing called the philosopher’s stone then you can ignore the laws!”
“You’ve been sneaking into my room and reading my books again haven’t you?”
“Maybe…”
“The philosopher’s stone is a legend! Nothing more then that.”
“I heard that people have successfully made one though!”
“No they make fakes.”
“Fakes?”
“Yes they forge them.”
“Why would someone do that? Why can’t they just make the real thing?”
I didn’t answer her. I looked out the window.
“Hey Aki we’re here.” Havoc turned around and told me.
“Thanks Havoc.” I got out and looked at the large building. Mercy stood next to me. She looked at me worried. “Don’t get cold feet now. Come on.” We took her in I hated being in there myself. We walked in the door to the main office. “Hello?” I asked quietly.
“Please do come in and take a seat!” a stout man said. Sitting at a desk.
“Thank you very much.” We all sat down.
“Hello I’m Mr. Sean. How may I help you all today?” he smiled.
“Well you see her…” I stopped I couldn’t tell him her sister died, “Mother died just recently and I’d like to adopt her.”
Mercy looked at me stunned. “Aki?”
“What is it Mercy?”
“Nothing.”
Mr. Sean scanned us over. “Are the two of you married?” he looked at Havoc and me with a smile. We both blushed.
“Not yet!” I grabbed Havoc’s hand. He looked at me a little more then shocked.
“That’s great congratulations to the both of you!” He laughed.
Mercy looked at the both of us like we were crazy. “Thanks!” I was clearly having to much fun.
Mr. Sean looked at Havoc, “Sir are you part of the military?”
“Yes I am.” Havoc stated.
“You’ll be a great role model for your kids!” Mr. Sean said happily.
“Thanks.”
“I’m sure the two of you will make a great family.” He cleared his throat and pulled out a few forms, “sign these and you’ll be set!”
I looked at them, “Ya okay sounds easy.” I started to fill them out about ten minutes later I was done. Havoc and I had to sign our names at the bottom of the form.
“Well then Mr. And Mrs. Havoc I’ll be happy to tell you that you have a daughter!” Mr. Sean chuckled.
I sat in awe on how good the name, Aki Havoc sounded. I was almost blushing. “Thank you Mr. Sean.” Havoc stood up, “Ready to go Aki?” he asked me. I looked at him.
“Ya.” We all walked out. I was smiling.
“What’s up with you Aki?” Mercy asked me.
“Huh nothing!” I started to blush.
“Nothing? No it’s something all right! You’re blushing!” she smiled.
“She’s probably happy because she was called, ‘Mrs. Havoc’” Havoc smiled.
I blushed harder. “Ya I think you’re right.” Mercy started to laugh.
“Shut up!” they both started laughing.
“Aki it’s obvious. Stop trying to hide it!” Havoc was holding in his laugh.
I was blushing so hard. Havoc didn’t act like he cared much about it he was just smiling. Oh how I loved his smile and how I wished it would never go away. “Aki?” I was snapped back into reality.
“Yes?”
“Why did you adopt me?” Mercy asked puzzled.
“I know how it feels to not have a family. To live on your own or in an orphanage.”
“I thought that you didn’t live in one though.”
“I did along time ago but I hated it and ran away. I lived in my old house for a few weeks and decided to live out in the woods. Someday I’ll tell you everything.” We were outside again. The sun was out and shining brightly. We walked to the car and got in I sat next to Havoc this time though. Mercy sat in the back almost happy. “So what are you happy about Mercy?”
“I have a family now. I mother. And a- well I guess he’s a father figure. Not the one I was hoping for…”
“Hey! What do you mean by that?” Havoc asked her.
“No offense Havoc but was hoping she’d go out with Roy.”
“Oh god no! I wouldn’t date that self-centered womanizer with a god complex!” Havoc was shrunk down a bit in his shoulders. “What’s wrong Jean?”
He looked at me, “That’s the first time you’ve ever called me Jean.”
“No it’s not.”
He stopped for a second thinking. “Oh ya. Forgot about that.”
“Exactly…” I leaned on the door to look out the window.
“Oh crap. If the colonel finds out I’ve been gone for so long he’s going to kill me!”
“Drop us off at the bakery and you can head back there okay?”
“Ya sure I hope I don’t get discharged.”
“Oh well if you get fired I’m quitting. There’s no way I’m going to stay in the military if your not there.” I smiled at him.
Mercy stuck her tongue out at the both of us.
“Saw that.” I said in a smart-ass attitude.
“Damn it!”
I laughed. We were getting closer to the bakery. Havoc pulled up next to it, “Here you are guys.” I kissed him on the cheek.
“Thanks Havoc.”
“No problem.” He smiled.
Mercy and I both got out. I waved at Havoc he smiled and waved back. He drove off. The two of us walked in side everyone looked at us. “Mercy, Aki what happened?”
“I have a mother now!” Mercy cheered.
Everyone looked at me, “Okay it’s me god! Quit looking at me like that.”
“Wow good for you. Wait does that mean you’re taken already?” Kafele sighed.
“I have for a while stupid!” I yelled.
“Aki? I wanted to ask you something.” Mercy said shyly.
“Yes go ahead.” I smiled.
“Can I ask you in private?” she asked me.
“Yes come on we can talk in my room.” I grabbed her hand and took her to my room everyone had a questioning face on.
We both sat on my bed, “What would you like to ask?”
“W-when did you first… like Havoc?” she asked me in a quite tone.
I blushed, “Why do you ask that?”
“I don’t know! Now that I have to live with you I should know a lot more about you!”
“Well then I guess it would have to be after I found out my last boyfriend was cheating on me.”
“What happened?”
“Well I was crying in my room. When I got a knock on my door. I didn’t want to talk to any one. I told him to go away but he refused to. So I opened the door he just looked at me and asked what was wrong. I told him and he just apologized and told me how he hated people like that. He hugged me and let me cry on his shoulder.”
“I can see why now. I thought it was because he said all those things about you back in Resembul.” She laughed.
“Nah. That was nothing compared to that day.”
A knock came at my door. “Come in if you dare!” I yelled.
James came in, “Aki I need to look at that arm of yours.”
I looked at it I rapped it up in bandages but did a poor job of it. “Right I almost forgot about it.” I sighed getting up, “Mercy I want you to go down stairs.”
James opened the door for her she nodded at me and walked out. James got a chair and brought it up next to the bed, “So how’s the arm right now?”
“Painful.”
“Nice let me see it then.” He said taking out a metal plate and a set of large medical tweezers.
I showed him my shoulder. Unwrapping the bandages he made a little grimace. “I know it doesn’t hurt as bad as it looks.”
“Got to give her credit she did a number on your arm.”
“I know I’m going to kill her the next chance I get.” I glared out the window.
“Okay I’m getting ready to take out the bullet.” He put his hand on my arm and looked at the hole.
I cringed. A sharp stab of pain shot into my shoulder. “I hate this part.”
“Ya sorry. I wish I didn’t have to do this part but it might cause problems in the future.”
“I don’t care as long it doesn’t interfere with my daily life.”
“Which includes making out with your boyfriend?”
“Shut up.”
“Sorry couldn’t help it.”
“Sure you are.”
“Damn it! I almost had it too!” I let out a cry of pain, “sorry!”
“Stop being sorry and get it out!”
“Trying! Trying! It’s stuck in there pretty good!”
“Shut up and take out the damned bullet!”
“I am!” he finally got it out. I let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank god. It took you long enough.”
He took out some bandages and started to wrap it around the wound. He tied it off and cleaned his glasses, “You’re done again. I would tell you to be more careful but it’s useless trying to tell you.”
“Thanks James. You know it’s nice having my own doctor around. To tell you the truth my doctors get sick of seeing me sometimes. Always calling me if a month would pass without a single injury.” He laughed.
“Last time I saw you, before you left, you were careful and didn’t want to jump out into danger. Now no one can keep you away from it.” I started to laugh, “What’s so funny?”
“I remembered what a dork you were back then.”
“I was not a dork!”
“Ya you were and you still are now.” I chuckled happily.
He smiled, “Kafele and I still can’t forget the first time we met you.”
“Oh ya I had been traveling a lot when I was fourteen huh?”
“Ya you were unconscious and asleep against a tree in the middle of the spring. Kafele thought you were gorgeous!”
“Ya and- wait he did?”
“Ya remember he put on this tough guy act for you, but then you out tough guyed him?”
“I remember I picked him up and threw him into a river. Right?”
“Ya! I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t breath!” he snickered.
Someone knocked on my door, “Aki sorry to interrupt but you have a phone call.”
“Ya whatever I’ll be there in a minute.” I stood up and walked down stairs. Picking up the phone, “ya?”
“What did you do this time?” Roy said on the other line.
“Colonel sir! I was a shot?”
He sighed, “You need to be more careful you’re going to kill yourself someday and I’ll have to fill out the paper work!”
“Oh wow you’re so nice.” I glared at the wall.
“Stop getting yourself into so much trouble and start looking after yourself!”
“I apologize in advance for this sir but, I don’t care about myself I care about my friends and comrades! I have to make sure that they’re safe and if you think other wise then shove it!” I calmed down a bit, “I apologize again for my rudeness sir. I had no right to raise my voice against a higher ranking officer.”
“I need that ear you know?”
“Sorry sir.”
“Frost I’d just like to tell you that I could hear you all the way across the room.” Riza said in a calm voice.
“Umm… Thanks?”
“That will be all.”
Roy gave a sigh, “I should be seeing you tomorrow correct?”
“Yes sir.”
“Good see you tomorrow then.”
“Right goodbye sir.” I hung up the phone silence was the only thing in the room, “I CAN’T STAND THAT SMUG LITTLE! ARGH!” I messed up my hair.
“Please keep your voice down Aki.” Katie said peacefully.
“Right.” I sighed.
“What do you have against the colonel any way?” Nicollette asked smugly.
“Everything.” I replied moodily.
She scowled at me, “Okay so what did he do to you?”
I scowled back, “Nothing.”
“He did something to you I can tell.” Everyone was looking at me now.
“No he did nothing to me,” my cheeks were tinted pink.
“Oh your blushing what did he do?” Katie grinned.
“Nothing at all! Now drop it!”
They all huddled up in a group and were whispering something to each other. I didn’t want to get too close.
“Two- one! GET HER!!” Katie went to tackle me. I scrambled out of the way.
“Whoa! What the-?” Nicollette tackled me from behind. I was pinned to the ground.
“Now tell us what he did!” She said sitting on my back.
“I’ll tell you on death bed.” I fumed.
“I can arrange that!” she hit my head.
“Please Aki just tell us. It can’t be that bad can it?” Katie smiled holding one of my arms down.
“Ya really what could this Mustang guy do to you that’s so bad?” Kafele remarked holding down my legs so I couldn’t try to kick any of them.
“I’m not telling you!” I stuck my tongue out at them.
“Tell us!” everyone shouted.
“Hell no!”
Nicollette hit me in the head again, “tell us or you’ll get a pen in your eye!”
I clenched my teeth together, “Why do you guys want to know so bad?”
“The only time you’ll hold a grudge is if they tried to kill someone you know or if they did something pervertive.” James looked at Kafele out of the corner of his eyes.
“Now that I think of it… weren’t you going out with him for a while?” Katie questioned.
My cheeks turned a bright red. “No! Shut up!” I yelled trying to get them off of me.
“Stop moving! It’s hard to keep you down when you’re moving!” Nicollette hit my head repeatedly.
I jumped to my feet Nicollette was hung around my neck. I bit her arm to get her off. She let out a small cry of pain. “You bit me!”
“No duh smart ass!” I yelled, “That’s what you get for trying to squeeze a secret out of me!”
“I’ll stab a fucking pen in your fucking eye!” She started to chase me around the room with a pen in her hand.
“Aw yes the bonds of two friends.” James nodded with a wise look on his face.
“I wish Aeon had killed you instead!”
“Pah! I would’ve seen you again in hell anyway!”
“God I used to think going to hell wouldn’t be so bad but now I don’t want to! Knowing that you’ll be there!”
I tripped over Kafele’s leg and landed hard on the ground. I rubbed my chin in pain. “Damn it whose side are you on?” I yelled at him.
“I go for who ever is cuter.” Kafele grinned. James hit him in the head.
Nicollette started blushing. I stood up dusting myself off, “Oh please.” I put my hands on my hips.
“I can’t believe you dated that Mustang guy.” Kafele snickered.
“Drop it already! It was years ago.” I turned my head away in anger.
“Does Havoc know?” Nicollette questioned probably trying to get some dirt on me.
“Yes. He only hated every minute of it!”
“How long did you two date for again?” Katie said in a blank face.
“You all bore me! I’m going for a walk.” I walked out fuming.
