*sigh*
One more first class to go through! It's my first year seminar... It seems like my lit course, The Outsider is gonna be fun. Being an outsider myself (not so much anymore though) it should be interesting. *vanishes*

Sound of a flute
Music over hills.
It comes,
drifting with
the wind. Sad music,
so very sad
it is. It shows
the pain
of one
who has lost
everything...
Seen family,
friends,
EVERYONE
succom to fever.
Horrible horrible
fever. This is Mishina's tune.
From Mishina's flute. ********** Like it? Yeah, Mishina's been through some tough times... *vanishes*

Never ending cycles
Time is never ending,
yet is goes in cycles.
Never ending cycles. Back and forth
yet always going foreward.
Never ending cycles. Trugding through the mud sometimes,
other times running over the grass.
Never ending cycles. *************** I couldn't get on myOtaku yesterday... So annoying... *vanishes*

Edge Walker's Oath
I here to swear this is what I, ___________, believe and want. To be no one.
To watch from a distance.
To be like the fog on the lake,
You can grasp,
But you can’t catch. To, occasionally, involve myself
With chosen key people
And events.
And see how that alters things. To let no one know me.
To only involve myself intimately
With fellow Edge Walkers,
For they know how it feels. To walk the edge of the worlds.
To observe and record.
To say, this was this then,
And this is this now. Join our ranks,
Become one of us.
Be the shadow in the night.
Be our comrade. *Teneil, head of all Edge Walkers hands new edge walker a cloak of office* You are now no one,
Just as we are. Thank you, my friends and comrades. I now have a goal, a reason. That is my life as an Edge Walker. ***************** This is basically the cerimony to initiate a new Edge Walker. The italics are other people talking. *vanishes*

Go. Do. Be.
Go somewhere.
Do something.
Be somebody. Go to Japan.
See the sights.
Become manga-ka. Go home.
Watch over your parents.
Be their caretaker. Go higher.
Achieve your dreams.
Be Hokage. Go away.
Travel the world.
Be a wanderer. Go anywhere.
Do anything.
Be anybody. *********************** Like it? I do. The second stanza is my best friend's and mine dream. (A stanza is a paragraph in a poem.) The thrid is what my uncle actually did for my grandparents. The fourth is Naruto's dream! (Adorable Naru...) The last body stanza is a secondary fantasy I have.
Tell me what you think! *vanishes*

Quebec report, part 4
Day 4, the whale watch day.
So that day we got up early and drove east to the Sanguany Fjord to go on a whale watch. It was fun, a nice drive.
When we got there, we stoped at a nice little light house park, and walked around and read all the signs. It was cool. *shrug*
And then we reserved our spot on the boat and ate lunch. I was a little pissed off when Mom wouldn't let me drink a cola with lunch, so I went under headphones to listen to the Chicago greatest hits CD. I really like Chicago, they're a great old band.
So there was a little bit of trouble getting on the boat. There were two 1 o'clock boats, and I was sitting on the wrong side of the bordering line... And then I was making sure that this was the English boat and this guy said that English was on the left and French was on the right... It was a joke, but I didn't realize that. *sigh* So I freaked, and went into a corner and cried. Well, only a few tears, but lots of moaning. Dad came and bought me a ice cream to cheer me up. That was nice of him. ^^
So we saw lots of whales. We saw a group of mother Belugas and their teenagers REALLY close. And we saw a humpback. It didn't show its tail, though. :( Oh well.
We also saw a lot of Minkie whales. And others, I'm not sure what they were called though.
After that we drove back to the camp. Long drive. We had a nice dinner on the way back. Yummy hot dog... ^__^ To be continued!

The Quebec report, part three.
Day three, the falls.
We decided that morning that we would go to the Montmorncy Chutes. So we drove past the city and down a bobsled hill of highway, a sudden turn just before the St. Lawerence, and an minute or two later, there they were! In all their glory. (They're taller than Nigara, you know.) And we drove in and parked in the lot... next to a hot rod from (dun dun dun) New Hampshire! Hah hah... Never underestimate a New Hampshire person!
Anyway, it was decided that we would ride up a tram, then walk down some LONG stairs. I'm afraid of falling down stairs so... Yeah.
There was a suspension bridge across the falls, and another across a secondary gorge. It was kinda scairy, but I clutched the rail with iron grip. ^^' So yeah... the falls were awesome! So pretty... Especially the rainbow at the bottom. ^__^
So then we went back to camp, and hung out for the rest of the day. I played Ledgend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Is a great game, and I'm not done with it yet. Yaarg! I want to fuse more Kinstones! (Sorry, inside joke.) To be continued.

The Quebec reoport, continued.
Day one, continued.
After setting up, dinner got under way. I ate a whole box of the Anne's pasta (the brand with the bunny), the white cheddar, shells, mac and cheese kind. 'Twas yummy. Me and Dad had dishes, and they got done in good time. Then I got changed and took a shower at the facilities up the road and went to bed. Day two, the first day in the city.
We decided early on that we were spending dat 2 in the city. So we drove over late that morning. After driving around for a bit, we found a nice parking garage. Parked there. Then we went to a info thing. The big question mark has saved us in French speeking Quebec many a time. *wise nod*
We decided to go to see a river over look and walk down the Governor's Walk (it's named something like that), a walk along the wall of the old city. We couldn't because it was under construction. Poo. So we had a snack, then went into the Cidadel and took a tour. That was the only english speaking tour we took all vacation...
So then we walked down to the Funiclar. (It's like an elevator that brings you down to the lower old city.) We had lunch in a italian restruant on the way there. In the square before the funiclar thing we got to see some rad street preformers in front of
We got rained on in the lower old city, so we had to end our window brousing early. But not before I got to buy a nice t-shirt and a Year of the Dragon pendant. Hee hee.
So then we went back to the camp site, ate dinner, and went to sleep. To be continued!
