Yay! No more retainer in the day time!

Dr. Livingston gave the OK yesterday for me just to wear my retainer at night time... It feels a bit weird, but I'll get used to it. I always do.

Also, got my teeth cleaned today, and scouted out my classrooms for the fall.

It was so hot today! Aaaaggg!

For once, I'm not in the library!

No! I'm in a computer cluster in the HUB! (AKA Hartman Union Building.) It's quieter than the library (if you can believe that) because there's almost no one here, just the sound of keyboards and printers. And my hungry stomach. *sigh*

Hungry...

Just had a snack before I got online, and now, 45 minutes late, I'm hungry again. *sigh* Why am I always hungry?

My little USB drive went through the wash in my other capris and it came out working just fine. Wonders never cease.

Oh! I'm going to Quebec City, and I was wondering if any of you had heard of some nice anime stores there. Well?

The latest anime TV report (AKA a Naruto and Avatar rant)

First things first, Avatar special on Nick (Avatar is the only good thing they have on there...) was cool. I like how Katara(sp) can calm Aang right down. They make a great pairing. And the way they smuggled Zuko and his uncle out of that village was awesome. Zuko peeks out, his uncle peeks out, they slide down. (They were in flowerpots.) I don't really like Aang when he's mad. But it is a big mistake to get the avatar mad. Katara calmed him down, as mentioned above. She's my fav Aang-calming water bender from the south pole. ^^ Oh! I was thinking, that if Aang were in the dictionary, his name would come before aardvark. Hee hee!

The two battles they featured in the second new Naruto eppy last night were a lot more interesting than in the manga. Kin seemed a lot more... sound ninja-ish. And a lot less useless. And we actually got to see the 2nd fight between kunoichi. The rising twin dragons thing was cool, plus the three moons on Temari's fan. I've always liked the way Ino and Sakura beat each other to exaustion since the time I read about it in SJ.

If you people don't know about Avatar, check it out. It's a psuedo anime, created in America in the anime style. Is a great show!

Wanderings - observations on ways of travel

Trains, planes, buses.
All ways to get around.

Some people prefer trains,
follow the rail roads.
This is good in Europe,
where the rail goes everwhere.

Planes are the prefered
of other people.
This is good in the far north,
where the only way
to get around is dog sled or
plane, which is better
for the rich traveler.

Buses are good
in South America.
At least
that's what I've heard...
