Winter Oylmpics!

They are here! I stayed up to watch the opening ceremonies last night. I especially liked the alternating fire and ice feels. *wise nod* Didn't wake up unitl 9ish. *shrug* But that's what you get when you stay up until near midnight... Did any of you watch it?

I'm going to the Semi Formal tonight with a friend. Can't wait! We tried to get together all through last summer, and now we are doing something together! Horray!!!

I have the Oylimpics on behind me. They are on skiing right now, I think.

Well, that's that! See ja! *slips off*

Peeling plastic

I used to peel
the skin on
my feet.

But now
they are too
calloused to peel,
and I peel the
plastic off my chair.

Math class
is booring sometimes,
so when I get
this certain chair,
you can soon find
little bits
of plastic
littered around it.

Once I peeled
feet skin,
now I peel
chair plastic.

******************

Hey! Did you like this one? I liked writing it. I really do peel the plastic off one of the chairs in Math class. It annoyes my aid, but oh well. ^^'

Homework

May the spirit of homework
piss off Gaara
(and be crushed by sand)
invoke Carl's rage
(and get their mind erased)
tease Layla
(and therefore invoke Anoel's wrath)
tresspass on dragon lands
(and be eaten)
ignore the Creative Writing teacher's rules
(and be lectured/yelled at to death)

In other words,
may homework
be
no
more!!!!

*************

A note on the poem: Gaara is from Naruto, Carl is a psychic character of mine, Layla and Anoel are also characters of mine. And my Creative Writing teacher had especially strict rules.

Tengo hambre!

Hunger eats
into mine stomach.
It grumbles,
it does.

Gnawing at
mine spine.
Making mine eyes
cross slightly.

I
am
so
HUNGRY!!!!

******************

Like it? I've never actually been that hungry, but it's a great image, ja?

Well, see ja! *slips off*

Fragle ankle

Left ankle
is definetly
not strong.

Sprained once,
twisted several times,
with variying intesenty.

BUT!
Even if
I break mine ankle,
I will never
stop pacing enthusiastically!
(people call
it galloping)

*******************

Well, must slip off now. See ja! *slips off*

Sorry, no poem today.

I just got back from watching the Avery 2's (a dance team) show that they put on in the auditorium. Wow. It was awesome! I took modern dance once, and I reconized some of the moves and techniques. O.O I loved it! The last dance had a prop that looked like that Angelic Parasol on gaia. I swear, that's what it reminded me of.

They asked for volunteers to see how it was like working with a coregrapher. My friend Carol, a trade student from Brazil went up. They were good! I admit the steps were simple, but it looked awesome.

Well, that's all. See ja! *slips off*

Sweaty hands

My palms
are sweaty.
I think it is
because I always
clench my hands.

The school
seems paticually warm today.
I was a bit hot
in both Skills
and Band.

My palms
are sweaty.
And I'm not sure why.

**********

I got the new Shonen Jump today. I wonder what's going to happen with Lee and Gaara. I know Gaara wins (at least I think so) but I don't know how. *wise nod*

Anyway, see ja! *slips off*

Nothing to say

Today I have
nothing to say.
My mind is empty
of useful facts,
ideas, and such.

I'm sorry,
but there is no
interesting poem
for you today.
For I have
nothing to say.

Wait...
This is a peom,
is it not?
And I am
saying something,
right?

So...
do I have nothing
or something
to say?

*****************

Interesting poem, eh? I like it. ^_^ Well, see ja! *slips off*

"My leg hurts."

Picking through
some rubble,
you find a little boy.
"My leg hurts,"
he says to you.

You take
a closer look at him.
He has dark blue hair
and deep brown eyes.
He is holding a ball
to the left side
of his face.

"If I look at my leg,"
he says,
"it'll hurt even more."
You look at his
left leg.
It is crushed
under a bolder.

"Can you help me?"
he asks.

*********************

Well? That scene has been in my head for a while. The boy is Lamar, a character of mine. He's an old friend of Mishina's, for those of you that know of her. *wise nod*

Well, off to look at GaaNaru fanart! XD Weeeee! See ja. *slips off*

Normals

Clogging the halls
they speek of things
that don't matter.

I try to stand out
from the horde,
I try to show
my uniqueness.

Somethings do matter;
the fate of the worlds,
the many different kinds
of magic.

I know the world
wouldn't function without them,
but that's no reason to like them.

Big kudos to Zankonu na Tenshi for commenting persistantly, and also loving my poems. You're the best, girl! ^__^
