Please,

be careful around

Some of them
will kill
on the slightest notice,
or at least maim.

They are usually restrained,
sure, but some of them
are strong enough
to break through
the toughest chains.

I care for you too much
to see you get
horribly injured
by a psycho.
So be careful

Books

They pile
in the corners
of the messy study.

She tries
to keep them organized,
she really does,
but with no one
to pick up after her,
they stay where
they are dropped.

At least,
she muses,
I know where things are
when I want them.
And the bookcases
are crammed full anyway.

She stands
in the center of the room,
a clear island in
a sea of books.
"Danm," she says.
"I need more bookcases."

Well, like it? There's a class in the library right now, and I was lucky to get to a black computer. (The black ones are newer, better, and faster.) I guess the two computer labs were full. *shrug*

Gazing out the window

Looking at
the snowscape.
In my mind's eye
I see figures walk
through the snow.

Desert Man,
looking none to pleased,
chasing Mishina,
who has lost her mind
in the snow.

Zez and Krystal
having a snowball fight.
He chases her,
bending to make new amo,
while she flees, laughing.

Ki'ann picking his way
across the snow.
He picks up his feet
high with every step,
shaking them with disgust.

Carl and Infor
walking together,
standing very close,
and holding hands.
They're in love.

Chamgelings

They sit
around the fire.
Quiet camaraderie.
Bouncy, happy go lucky phoenix, (young man)
and quiet, watchful angel. (man)
Wise, intelligent eastern dragon, (woman)
funny, free spirited western dragon. (man)
Two wolves, (one man, one woman)
curled together.
Strong, bad tempered tiger, (man)
sweet, adorable kitten. (little girl)

All look human,
but different features
they have now.
Cat ears and tail,
or a muzzle, different skin, wings, and tail.
Phoenix isn't much different
on the outside,
but on the inside he is very different
(metabolism and body heat).

The road is their home,
they wander the worlds,
not looking for a permanent home,
but just wandering.

Peaceful

As peaceful as
a library,
the girl
sits on her bed.

Life is hard sometimes,
sure, but these
times make it
all worthwhile.

Like the quiet studiousness
of that hall of books
she studies for her tests.

If you don't know
this girl,
you've probably
seen her like.

Quiet, never talking
more then she has to.
But still,
she seems happy.
Or at least content.

So, as peaceful
as a library,
she studies for life.

You like? I'm in the school library right now, and I just got out of the Band Midterm. It's nice an peaceful here. *happy sigh* I'm staying for the second half of the day so I can talk to one of the librarians about volenteering in the local public library. I'm looking forward to it. I even dressed up today. I call it my busniess suit, and the main color is purple. Suprised? Neither am I. heh heh.

Midterms!

Today I had my last classes of Costuming and Far Eastern Studies. *sigh* I'll miss Mr. Gulick. He's cool. ^^ And I don't have to take the Costuming final because I have an A and I'm a senior! I have an A in FES too, but Mr. Gulick won't let me not take it. Poo.

To wander.

I wish I could
just pick a direction
and go.
Just go in that direction.
Walk unitl I come
to someplace new.

I guess I have
a wanderer's soul.
To turn and go,
when one I tire
of a place.
Always on the road.

Internet cafes,
of course,
so I could keep in touch
with my friends.

But still,
I wish I could
hop on a greyhound,
Go to an
out of the way town,
get a job,
a place in the hotel,
and stay for a while.
Then move on.

Did you guys like it? It's longer then the last one, certainly.

I've been light headed all today, and most of yesterday. No pain, just a light head. I didn't bump it either, nor did I loose a lot of blood. Just... lightheaded. And I don't know why.
