Journalism unit in CW! And other random news.
We're doing a journalism unit in creative writing! I might get something published in a magazine! ^^ I hope to send a science fiction short story to either Analog Science Fiction and Fact or The Magazine of Fantisy and Science Fiction. Prob'ly the former, tho'. ^^ Heather said she wanted to invite me to her birthday party! I would be so honored to go! I haven't been to one, or had one, since I moved out of the little house in Elsworth. (I lived in Elsworth until 2nd grade. Long time, hunh?) I would have to buy her a present, though... Hmmmm... Well, that's it. See ja! *slips off*

He liked my laugh! That poet liked my laugh! ^^
I went to a poetry reading at the library last night at the library. Partly because it was extra credit for CW, partly because I like poetry on its own. ^^
Soooo... The guy read this poem called "Poets Don't Drive Porshes." It was about this kid that came into a open mike poetry reading (where anyone can read, if they sign up) and asked, "Who ownes the porsh outside withe lights on?" They replied, "Poets don't drive porshes!" And then the poem tells how they tortured him with literary divices. I.E., attacking him with their "dogma" and a great Shakespear pun. ^^
Afterwards when I was leaving, he told me that he liked my laugh. He said that, if he could, he'd bring me around just to laugh like that! Was nice! Well, that's all the news for today, besides the river was close to flooding a few days ago with all the rain and snow melt. See ja! *slips off*

Yesterday, we went to Manchester!
And what's in Manchester? The Mall of NH and the closest Barns & Nobel! I got volume 7 of Furba, volumes 1 & 2 of YGO: Duelest, and The Dragon Lover's Guide to Pern, 2nd edition at Barns & Nobel, using a gift card. At the Mall of NH, in the Discovery Store, I got Uncle John's Bathroom Reader Pulnges Into History Again. LOVE the bathroom readers. Soooo funny. And interesting. And, yesterday was also April Fools day. Sarah got me when I came into the caf in the morning. It went like this:
Sarah: Hey. You dropped your pocket.
Me: Um... *feels at cargo pockets*
Sarah: April Fools.
Shadii (in my head): You fell for that.
Me (to Shadii in my head): Yep. I certainly did. Well, that's that. I've a lot of homework to do this weekend. So, see ja! *slips off*

Just a short window for you...
Oh my god, Keeper thought. When this rush is over, I am so gonna sleep for a week, even if the end of the world is sometime during that week. Why, praytell, was Keeper so tired? And who is Keeper anyway? Well, Keeper's full name is Keeper of the Eternal Library. She wears purple robes and has purple hair, pale skin, and crimson eyes. A very pretty girl, she looks like she's 22, and has for as long as anyone can remember. As for this rush, it seems like everyone believes that the end of the world is comming, and everyone wants to prevent it. So, they come to the Eternal Library to learn more. Important people from the many worlds, and world systems, have come asking for help. First, Shadii of the World of Shadow Games came. He asked a few questions, then settled down with a few scrolls from the Library of Alexrandria. Then, Marcos the Black from the Worlds of Riftwar came. He wanted a tour, which is close to impossiable in the Eternal Library. If it were, it would take about a million years, but he was on a time budget. So he sat down with a few tombs from the Eldar on Kelewan. Then came Belgarath from the World of the Split Destinies came knocking. He sat down with a bunch of prophicies and started talking to himself. (Very annoying, that.) Then Pug the Sorcerer (also called Milamber) from the Worlds of Riftwar, and Marcos's apprentice in a way, came, and he sat down with Marcos and they began to discuss stuff that was over Keeper's head. Then, after they all had arrived, they starting asking questions and calling for additional works. If Keeper thought that all the arrivals (more then had visited for about 500 years) was bad, then she hadn't seen anything until they all started asking for help at once. After several days, or so it seemed to Keeper, of rushing up and down hallways and answering questions and getting books and scrolls, Keeper was ready to drop. And that's what she did.
How did you like it? Oh, the people I mentioned are all important people in books I've read (Well, besides my Shad Shad, he's from YGO. ^^) but Keeper and the Eternal Library are mine. Well, that's it. See ja! *slips off*

A bit of brooding and musical chairs news.
Musical chairs news first. Here it is, in spanish: Diego Brooks esta el demonio de los sillas musicales! (Or, in english, Diego Brooks is the demon of musical chairs.) Yeah, it was fun And now for the brooding sort of essay, sort of rant I wrote during Skill and the beginning of Spanish!
After all he had done to serve fate, shouldn't Shadii have some one to love, and someone to love him?
Most often I'm cheerful, but sometimes I am dark and brooding. If my final personality after the trials of adolesence is cheerful, I would be suited to a happy man, but if I come out a brooding woman, Shadii would be a wonderful fit for me. And I do love him.
To walk away from a normal life, to be just on the edge of society. Shadii does this, but he looks so darn sad. Maybe he wants some company on the lonely path he walks. I would be that company, if I could.
Happy am I, but not right now. I want ot be with my Shad Shad. I long to hear his accented voice, his slightly formal speech patterens.
Sometimes I scorn those common fools around me, those normals. Sometimes I am fond of them, for they have the simple concerns that I will never understand or have. Boy friends, friends, the simple manuvering of the "popular." It matters to them, but not to the long run of history.
A note on clothing: Shadii's cloak-cape could be a modifacation fo Shada's cape. There is a fold there that could be a hood... And I noticed something else. I'll have to check, but I don't think Little Yugi's jacket flared out at the bottom in the first season. It did, however, start to by the beginning of the Pharoah's Memory arc. I wonder if it is because he is comming into his own.
I would like to join my Shadii on his lonely path, and then he wouldn't be lonely anymore. I love him so much it hurts... My Shad Shad.
Shadii appears and dissapears at will, a rustle of robes alerts one to his presence, and once you look away he is gone. He pulled Tristan and Duke up from the edge of doom, prehaps densing that Yugi and Pharoah would never be the same if two of their friends perished in a simple accident. That was a kindness.
The unloved, the unappreacited. Prehaps that is why Shadii looks so lonely. But he isn't completely unloved. I, and a few others, love him. That's it. Well, see ja. *slips off*

Shadii... My Shad Shad!!!!!!!!!!
Last night from 8:30 to 9:00 was pure joy for me. I love Shadii! Oh... Just oh... That accent is awesome. Those eyes are awesome. His speech patterns are awesome. His dedication is awesome. The way he dissapears is awesome. (You look away, and poof! He's gone!) Oh I love my Shad Shad. And here is a little scene between us two!
Shadii: You have glomped me more than usual today. Why?
Me: I love you more that usual today, that's why! Oh man you are cool...
Shadii: You have said that before. And don't you think that you should stir the pasta?
Me: Yes, of course! *stirs pasta* Don't get to close to the stove now, your robe might catch on fire. We do have gas you know.
Shadii: Yes of course. *a pause* Do you think Ishizu might come over soon?
Me: Why?
Shadii: I wish to discuss our jobs soon. Since things have calmed down, I have been wondering how she is doing.
Me: *a bit tensly* Have you now...
Shadii: But she's just a friend. Am I allowed to have friends that are girls?
Me: *relaxes* Of course! Just as long as you don't cheet on me. I am NOT going to share you with anyone. You are MY Shad Shad.
Shadii: Yes, of course. *comes over to play with my hair*
Me: Stop that! *swats his had away* You know I hate that!
Shadii: *smiles* I love you. *peck on my cheek and leaves*
Me: Oh, how I love him... Furthermore, I could almost imagine Shadii and Ishizu getting together. They are both mysterious, and she seems to trust him. They would make a cute couple. Well, that's that! See ja! *slips off*

A hetic yesterday and a hyper today.
Yesterday's schedual.
1. Get up, had first soda, got to school, find out the field trip is Thrusday.
2. Get out at beginning of second period (9:10).
3. Go downtown for really BOORING occupational testing.
4. Get picked up by Mom at 1:30, walk around down town, get second soda.
5. Go to school for end of last period.
6. Go to dentition with Lena (got mad at her and yelled ><).
7. Go to haircut in Bristol (a ways away).
8. Get dinner at Burger King.
9. Go to Music Honors Society Induction. (6:00)
10. Get home just in time for YGO.
11. Fall into bed, have hard time getting up next morning. And I also have a small scene I imagined going to Spanish today. Here goes! A even selection of 100 (I'm in there BTW) of all the fangirls of boys of Yu-Gi-Oh! Stand in a line. Marik walks past. He is mobbed. Seto walks past, and is also mobbed. This also happens with Yami Marik, Theif (Yami Bakura), Pharoah (Yami), and all the other well known boys. There is less for the more minor characters, but eventually only a few girls are left. They are mostly older, or somewhat not in the norm Rishid walks past. A few of the older girls walk up to him and pull him off. Evenutally only I stand there. Shadii walks in and looks around. I tackle him in pure joy. ALL MINE!!!! Ha ha ha. And there is a moral to that scene. The more unappreciated the character is, the less you have to share him. Though I will share my Shad Shad, as long as not to many people want him. I shall leave you with this little line I made up. Duke Devlin, da dice dude: always realistic and somewhat pessismastic. Oh! And I have a project due tommorrow I have to finish. PROJECTS ARE EVIL, I TELL YOU! EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!! ahem Well, that's it! See ja! *slips off*

Today we have a dragon show and a wonderful SJ...
Today or yesterday I got my (dum dum don!) SJ! Ha ha ha... Interesting developments in YGO. ^^ Dr. Slump is weird. >< Yu Yu is heating up. *wicked grin* It should be fun! But what are they replacing DBZ with?!?!!?!? Or are they just gonna let the SJ be thinner? That will NOT do. Oh... dragons rule, dragons rule, dragons rule!!!!!!!!! Me loves them, yes I do. ^^
Shadii: I don't see why they're so great.
Me: They were my first object of facination. I am a Dragon in the Zodiac, you know. And I love them to not quite death! I am sure they exist/existed at least somewhere... Somewhere... We're watching Unwrapped on the Food Network right now, but in about 10 minutes nad counting I will be in Dwaggie Heaven. ^^ DRAGONS! SHADII! EGYPT! PHSYCHICS! SHADII! DRAGONS! (what else...) SPACESHIPS! DRAGONS! SHADII! I LOVE IT ALL! Okay... going now! See ja. *slips off*
