Sorry it's a little late, but here's my rant on why I respect the YGO characters.
Warning! Possible spoilers ahead!
Why do I respect some of the YGO people? Because they’re strong! I shall discuss this in 6 subjects. Subject 1: Rishid/Odion
I have nothing but respect for this man. He bore up under his adopted father’s abuse, be it verbal or physical, for years. He truly loves his adopted younger brother Marik, and with all the bad things Marik’s done, that truly takes some strength. His loyalty to Marik even goes as far as him pretending that he was Marik! Also, he once tried to get Mr. Ishtar to accept him as heir, therefore giving Marik his freedom. It didn’t work, but at least he’d tried. I take a bow to Rishid/Odion. Subject 2: Marik
The strength to reject your destiny, to forge your own path, for good or evil. And Marik has just that kind of strength. There is a thin line between that strength, and the strength to actually accept your destiny, but Marik is definitely on one side of that line. He forged his own path. I take a bow to Marik. Subject 3: Seto Kaiba
It takes strength to be the sole skeptic in the show. Strength to either reject or just not see (I’m not sure which) what everyone else around him can see. What I mean is the Shadow Games, the Sennen Items, and the Pharaoh’s Power. Also, no matter how many times Yugi beats him into the ground, he will still keep fighting. That is both stubbornness and determination, and definitely strength. I take a bow to Seto Kaiba. Subject 4: Yami Bakura
GAWD this guy is good. He is a mastermind, plus he is just so damn cool! Anyway, (Spoiler warning!) his bad past makes him evil as he is. He when he was a young boy in the Thief’s Town in Ancient Egypt, he was the only one left alive when the rest of the town was sacrificed to make the Sennen Items. He wants to get them back to get revenge. It takes strength to endure that and come out as sane as he is. Or, a possibility: since the flesh and blood of his friends and family were melted into the Sennen Items, he might just want to be close to them in some perverse way. Yes, it’s gross. (End spoilers!) But, godsdammit, that guy ALWAYS comes back! Once every season, actually, if I’ve kept track right. From the graveyard or from the shadow realm, it makes no difference. He is the shadows incarnate, and he will always return. I take a bow to Yami Bakura. Subject 5: Ryo Bakura
Ah, loyalty to one’s friends. That is always important, and ‘Kura sure has it. He sacrificed his soul (or at least attempted to) at least twice in Yu-Gi-Oh! to stop his Yami from destroying his friends. Perhaps he had no or few friends before he went to Domino High, so he values the ones he has now, Yugi and Téa and Joey and Tristan/Honda and the others. It takes strength to stand up to your other self like that, and strength to sacrifice yourself for your friends. I take a bow to Ryo Bakura. Subject 6: Shadii
(Yes, you knew it; I am going to talk about my Shad Shad. How could I not? Plus, best for last!) He’s definitely not happy. Does it look like he’s happy? The only time he even remotely looks like he’s happy is when he’s forcefully giving Pegasus the Sennen Eye. (Too much blood lust is bad for you, my Shad Shad.) He probably had a bad past to make him this straight faced. BUT, he is strong enough to get past that, strong enough to carry on. (You know, I’m not even sure I have license to call him “my Shad Shad.” He might not be mine! His heart may belong elsewhere than with mine. I do love him, but…) I take a bow to my Shad Shad, AKA Shadii.
That's it. Phew!

Tired, slightly muddled, and slightly obsessed with my Shad Shad's dub voice...
Item number one on my list: tired. I had a field trip today, for Creative Writing. I went to all the schools in SAU #48. That's Waterville, Thorton, Holderness, Campton (horray for the school I went to), Wentworth, and Plymouth. We left at 7:35 and got back at about 3:45. I read a story I wrote and illistrated called The Strangers. My right sholder got tired fast because I was holding up the book on my right side so the little First Graders can see the pictures. I also explained the pictures. Also, I went to bed very early Tuesday (about 6:30-7:00), worked almoast all day Wensday trying to get the illistrations done, and today I went to read to all the schools. It was a good day, but tiring. Item number two on my list: slightly muddled. I've been re-reading the Foreigner Universe (my unofficial name) books by C.J. Cherryh. They are wonderful. They make you think about what it means to be human, and what it means to be not human also. About a week ago (That long? Wow.) when I read the first book in the series (Foreigner) I started adding some of the formilaties of the alien race the main character lives among, at least in my thoughts. That really muddled me, and I've started doing that again. And another factor: it was just a week ago that I Granpa Charly died. Now he's in the ground. Wow. Item number three on my list: slightly obsessed with my Shad Shad's dub voice. Let me make one thing clear. I LOVE THAT ACCENT. That it the one clear thing in my mind. Last night I heard his voice (if I ever heard it before, I forgot ^^') and I loved it. He draws out the "a" sounds, for heaven's sake. I love it! And I know this is random, but I don't think my Shad Shad is very happy. Poor guy.
In a related fact, the duel on on YGO last night on CN was one between someone Scary-Hot (not in my tastes, thanks) and two Cool-Hot guys (I'll take Yami 'Kura thanks, you can take Marik). It was very cool, and I like the way Yami 'Kura and Marik are coorporating, sort of. They have my deepest respect. Oh! Next post, if I remember, I'll have a rant on why I respect so many people on YGO. That's it. *yawn* I have some time left, so I'll be able to visit some sites. See ja. *slips off*

Good bye, beloved Dragonball... ...and other anime / manga news.
Last night, GT ended. I will miss all them, Goku, Pan, Trunks, Veggie Head, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, and everybody else. Giru even. They are very beloved characters. I have yet to see the Sayaman saga at all, but that is it. I've seen all the rest, in the manga if not the anime. Highest regards to Goku and company, and good bye. I will truely miss you. In other news, I got my first glimse of Shadah, my Shad Shad's Ancient Egyptain incarnation in this month's SJ. He really does look like him, and handsome besides. I spent half the car ride today stairing at him. Me and Mom went down to the outlit mall to get some nice colthes for the funeral and the wake. And also, I've been trying to join Loyalty, the Rishid / Odion fanlisting. I've nothing but the deepest respect for the man, but my computer hasn't been able to show the join screen. Phooey. I guess that's it. See ja. *slips off*

I think I'm over my hysterical-ness... I hope.
My Grandpa Charly is dead. He died thursday night. Mom was on her way down. Didn' make it. He was sick for a long while, and I hardly remember him before he got sick. The wake in on Munday and the funeral is on Tuesday. I won't be around for a while, I guess. I was a bit hysterical during school on Friday. Example. I went to the window during English and saw a HI written in the football field. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I laugh very shrilly and squekily. I don't have anything else to say. See ja later.

Oh, the wonderfulness of peacefulness in the library...
So so relaxed. Band ended, and the last song we played was Eye of the Tiger (pep band song). Now I'm in the library on earned time, and there's hardly anyone in here. It's so quiet, just how a library should be, even a school library. Why do you think I'm part of the library fanlisting? Ahhhh.... Wonderfulness. Because of all this wonderful quietness, I've come up with a short blip scene. Wanna hear? Well, here it is:
Great marble pillers sorund you. Quiet talking and the scratching of pens echo through the halls. On either side of you there are great racks of scrols, the inky sent filling your nose. All the knowledge of generations of people from your part of the world is gathered here at the Library of Alexandria, and you are a caretaker of it. Peace abounds, and you are happy.
Ahhh, and that's how I feel now. Peaceful, happy, and content. I know I will be yelled at next period because I brought nothing to work on in Skills, and I today is the first day of the secnd semester. I also have a new class last thing today. But that doesn't matter. It is peaceful in the library, and I am happy.

Oh the wonderfullness of the song entitiled Rubber Bisket!
If you've never heard it, I pity you. Oh, oh the hilarous funnyness of the "Hey hububa hey bububa" vocals! Ah ha ha ha ha ha... And ALL HAIL THE WONERFULNESS OF THE BLUES BROTHERS ABILITY TO GET IN TROUBLE! Oh, wonderfullness. And in other news, DBGT was awesome last night! Oh, the wonderfullness of the defeat of a horriable enemy. And I've some theories about next eppisode. It should be bitter-sweet. I might cry. Ah, but I hardly ever cry in relation to my anime, so maybe not. Oh well. And did you hear of the nor'easter that hit New England? Well, here at my place in Central NH, we got a good 6 inches, but more south, there should be a good two feet by the time the storm's moved on. And then we have a new cabinet in the living room. It's to put our vids and DVDs in. It's going next to the heater and the Green Laptop Desk, where I am now typing. Little Brother's putting on the handles right now. That's all I can think of too say. See ja! *slips off*

Mid terms are over, this is a three day weekend, and I feel GOOD!
Have any of you ever contemplated the wonders of a bar named Callahan's Place where anything can happen and no one will blink? In one book, there was two Psychics (one that couldn't control himself and another that shouldn't control himself), two Destory the Human Race Aliens (one that they helped and one that didn't have the guts to accept help), two vastly different Time Travelers (one Meddler and one that used a jail cell to do his time traveling), one Lady That Aged Amazingly Slow, Three Practical Jokers In One Story (a right bargan if you ask me), a Kid Who Wanted To Run Away From Life, and one Beautiful Relivation At the End. All the problems were fixed as best the people could fix them. The stories were set up this way:
One funny beginnign
One heartbreaking middle
One beautiful ending. Oh how I love this book! It is called Callahan's Crosstime Saloon and it's by Spider Robinson. It's science fiction, and I think some people should read it. Oh what wonderful stories. In fact, I made up my own Callahan's Place. Be careful, because the accent this story is written in is kinda hard to read, but if you say it out loud, it should make sense. Ta da! ‘Ey kid, ‘ow ya doin’? Why, dis is da Mikaroo Kangaroo! A real nice place, ‘f you ask me. I’ve worked here all my workin’ life, and dats no small feat. I’ve seen regulars come an’ regulars go, an’ heard things that would be impossible anywhere else. We’ve ‘ad some psychics who couldn’ control demselves, quite a few take over the world alien types, and even some people who age just astonishingly slow. And den dere ‘as dat really bored immortal. By all dat’s holy he ‘as sure a case!
Whazzat, kid? Why da three fireplaces? Well, da one in da middle is to throw your drink into ‘f you agree with something ‘r just feel way happy, y’know? An’ den da one on da left is to toast t’ yer troubles. E’erybody usually tries t’ ‘elp and a solution’s usually found. An’ den da one on da right is t’ do ‘appy toasts! An’ furdermore, dere‘re two usual toasts. You see da boy a few seats ova? Well we call ‘im Da Kid, and e’ery night he does a ‘appy toast to Punday Night. Wha’ dis Punday Night is, I dunno, bu’ he must like it lots, hunh? And den Fair Lady – dat’s da girl in the Civil War dress ova at dat table ova dere – usually does an Amen Brodah in da middle fireplace and den dey go inta a corner and pun demselves out. Is gronaful, y’know? An’ den deres dat Shadowed Egyptian. E’ery single night, he toasts da Shadow Games in da bad fireplace. No, I’ve no clue wha dey are eidah. We tried t’ ‘elp ‘im da first dime, but he refused it fer some strange reason. Den he usually goes inta da corner an’ cries ‘imself out. Usually, Da Kid does his usual toast a while after dat, t’ cheer e’erybody up. Oh! Dat’s da Shadowed Egyptian in da corner dere, nursin’ a double mango. Yeah, dat guy in the white turban an’ robes.
Eh? Whazzat, kid? Where’s dis place located? Why, nowhere an’ e’erywhere at once! Y’see kid, we’re ‘ere when y’kneed us. An’ furdermore, when ya leave, no maddah how long ye’ve stayed, it’s two ‘ours since ya came in! Useful, hunh? An’ ya noticed that even tho’ we ‘ave three fireplaces goin’ on full a’ da same dime, it never gets ‘ot, did ya? Ah, yer a smart kid. Well, our place is chock full o’ paradoxies. The two ‘our problem, fer one, da not ‘ot problem fer another. And den deres da multiple world problem. Why, where’d ya dink dis cast o’ characters came from? As I said, we’re ‘ere when y’kneed us. An’ dat goes fer non ‘umans too.
Hunh? Whazzat, kid? Da regulars names, hunh? Well, dere’s Da Kid, o’ course. A right character, he gets drunk on caffeine. Yeah, dat stuff’s dat’s in soda an’ coffee, y’heard me right. An’ den deres da Fair Lady. Why, she’s da local whit mastah – ‘r should I say mistress – an’ she can out reason, out pun, out tall tale, an’ out sing anyone I’ve e’er met. Quite a looker too. ‘Er dresses‘re da most beautiful I’ve e’er seen, an’ she borrows from all cultures t’ get ‘em. O’ course deres da Shadowed Egyptian. He’s a mystery, y’know. No one knows were dat man come from, and no one knows where he’s goin’. Poor guy cries ‘imself t’ sleep e’ery night, tho’. A real sorry case. An’ da only odah regular wi’ a nickname is Da Silent One. Ne’er a word ou’ o’ her mouth, bu’ she’s a right good doctor, y’know? I mean, she can fix broken bones wi’ one tug, y’know? Now, don’ go cryin’ witchcraft, is jist healin’ magic, ‘kay? Oh, I see, is da same ding, hunh? Well, is accepted in ‘ere, do don’ get all ‘spicious, ‘kay?
Why, yes we get aliens! Mostly ‘umans, tho’. It’s a real ‘onah t’ get da occasional Puppeteer, too. Why, ‘ave ya ever seen dose dings move! It’s so wondahful, I nearly cried da first dime I saw one. Oh? You a science fiction buff? Ahh… good fer ya kid, good fer ya.
Y’know, kid, you don’ ‘ave t’ come ‘ere t’ get drunk, or anything like dat. Could be fer jist a good dime wi’ yer friends, ‘r ‘avin’ some good eats. Y’see wha’ I’m sayin’, kid?
Hm? Whazzat, kid? How much a drink cost? Fifty cents, ya jist gimme a dollah, and ya kin eidah throw yer drink in da fireplace – any one ya choose – ‘r grab two quarters on da way out.
So, kid. Y’gonna make a toast? You like? Be sure to comment! (no one's been doing that lately! jeez...) Well, see ja! *slips off*

Nova is dead, and I miss my Nova...
Nova is officially dead as of Saturday night. I HATE OMEGA SHENRON! That "I'm sorry Goku" in that wicked cool soft, horse voice of his was heartbreaking! Nova... I'm gonna miss you. T.T
Shadii: Why are you crying?
Me: *rushes into his arms* I miss my Nova Shenron! Shad Shad, I miss him... *sob sob*
Shadii: *strokes my hair* I know you would never cheet on me, and he was a good friend. You cried like this for Bardock, too.
Me: Bardock was *snif* wicked cool too. He could see the future and how great his son, Goku/Kakarot, would become. *hic* And Nova is cool. He was a Good Bad Guy that became a Good Guy! As he landed after the fire ball with Omega thing, I had visions of the happy times, with Goku and Veggie Head training with him, and he sort of becoming one of the family and being happy! But it wasn't to be. That horrible Omega just burst out of him! Evil evil evil! It just wasn't to be... *sob* Oh my Shad Shad...
Shadii: It's all right... It's all right... It'll get better... I'm here for you...
Me: *snif* mmhp *hic*
Shadii: And I don't mind anymore if you call me "Shad Shad." It's not bad of a nickname.
Me *teary smile* Thanks.

Oh, I am so happy right now! Happy happy happy!
Oh the wonderfullness of the wonderful anime / manga shopping spree! Ha ha ha... ah. Today we went to Concord to the mall! I got that DBGT movie, A Hero's Legacy. AND the rest of the Fruit Basket manga! That's out so far, of course. This morning I saw the end of the Tales of Symphonia game. If you don't want to know the end of the game, DON'T READ THE NEXT PARAGRAPH! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Lloyd's wings are wonderful! I want wings like that! So cool so cool so cool! And the sword's voice is cool. And I think that Lloyd named the tree... Symphonia! Why else would the game be called that? Or maybe Yadagrasil because the tree in Scandivinain mythilogy is called that. Who knows? THE SPOILERS ARE OVER NOW! YOU MAY CONTINUE AS NORMAL! *ahem* Anyway, has anyone read the second chapter of my fic? If not, then please do! I worked hard on that. Oh Fruits Basket is totally wonderful! I love it! I suppose it's time to go and visit your sites now! See ja! *slips off*

Poor poor Little Brother...
He's upset tonight. I was going to post some hilarious versions of the Pledge of Allegiance from More Anguished English, a book of my dad's. But instead i will write some somewhat depressed stuff i wrote in my LOTR notebook during school today.
The earliest ones
she has almost forgotton
Ryo, the mysterious tamer
and
Raven, of the black hair - and the powerful eyes. There are some
she holds on to
Kurama, demon theif who learned to love
and
Bakura, an innocent with a love for his friends - and an evil dark side. One was different from the others
From the same world as her, for one
She called him Dragon Man
But eventually even those feelings faded What happens
She would wonder
When love is lost?
When you only look at him - with a fondness?
And sometimes, not even that? And she would sigh
and smile shen she saw - Kurama - or Bakura
Or when she saw Dragon Man
In school. "A beautific smile was on her face - devode of life. She was found leaning against a wall that often vibrated comfortablly. The doctors said her heart had stopped - just like that! - a painless death. Later people said that charactes - both hers and others - had come to take her to a magicall place of endless poems, stories, manga, anime, and music. And she was happy there." I want that epithath! I was happy when I came home, and I watched Little Brother play Tales untill about five. Then Mom kicked him off and he started acting miserable. *sigh* Poor poor Litte Brother. I have nothing else to say. *slips off*
