Troubles and the fair

I couldn't write recently because I've had so much homework! x.x First there was 2 chapters of section reviews for the History section of American Studies, then a Chemistry project I had to do in ONE NIGHT (don't ask), and then there was another chapter for History.

But there was one good thing! I went to the Sandwich Fair! I got a new dragon shirt and a dragon hat! I love my dragon hat! I'm wearing it right now! *ahem* I went on my traditional 4 rides. I go on those rides every year.

There's this one stand at the fair that I go to for most of my fairy and dragon shirts. One goes for $12 and two go for $20. I love the shirts sold there, and I've bought 2 there, and 1 from the same company when I was on vacation last labor day weekend. (2 dragon, 1 fairy) I've also bought another fairy shirt when I was in PA, but it's not from the same company.

Oh, I saw my crush today. He didn't come to lunch, so I couldn't talk to him. You know, I think I'll call him the Dragon Man. He did inspire my race of Dragon People. Anyway, my friends say that he didn't come to lunch because he was doing homework. They say he does that often. I haven't been in his lunch before, so I wouldn't know. Ah well. When I came back into class, he was going through his Yu-Gi-Oh! card game deck, so he might of been altering it. *shrugs* Anyway, I think I'll give him a note with a decrilation of love (or at least crush) on it, on or near Valintimes Day. I know that's a ways away, but I can wait.

Random thought of the entry:

Part of the reason I don't trust chinese food is that it made me throw up once. Ick.

I tried to write this earlier, but I was kicked off right before I hit the add post button. I hope it works this time.

   Random stuff

First of all, thanks to all who visted and added me to their frends! I feel so honored. I promise to visit all your sites! I mixed up my birth year by accdent, sorry.

In other news, I visited the local graveyard yesterday. I was mad at my dad, and he was mad at me, because of the dreaded HOMEWORK! *sigh* It's really old, some of the latest dates I noticed were 150 years old! And I got the feeling that no one had been buried there in... at least fifty years. It felt old and I felt safe there. Go figure.

In school news, I think I have a crush on a friend of mine. It's strange because I've never really had a crush on a real person. Real in the literal sense. He likes anime and dragons, just like me! Oh jeez, this is confusing

Random thing of the update: never lock your knees when you have to stand for a long time. You'll faint.

My anime obsession.

Think about this: I have only fallen in love with guys from anime. Only anime cuties. Only! Okay, once a character in a movie, but I’ve known of Aragorn since Dad read me and my brother The Lord of the Rings when we were in 2nd grade. And all of them have been mysterious.

If you want to talk mysterious, talk Shadii of Yu-Gi-Oh!. He’s another anime man that I’ve fallen in love with, and for a very good reason. I’ve even made a clay model of him! *pats its head* He is the most mysterious, closemouthed guy on Yu-Gi-Oh!! He’s not the hottest, or the cutest, those titles belong to Yami Bakura and Bakura respectively. And he’s certainly not adorable, that is Mokuba’s job, with his loveable adoration of “big brother Seto.” Oh, but Shadii’s wonderful. Example of how much I love him: I’ve gone for what seems like months with out any new Shadii input, and I’m still obsessed with him! How’s that for craziness! If any of you are interested there are two Shadii shrines on the net, Shadi’s Slightly Sidetracked Sennen Shrine and Behind My Eyes and they can tell you just how great he is, though Behind My Eyes is more… factual if only for the fact that the Sennen Shrine is… slightly sidetracked. ^^;;;

Oh, and if you’ve read the beginning of the manga, you might see why I see him as nice to the people not related to his job. I mean, look at him the first time Yugi talks to him, before he knows he’s a Sennen Item holder. He’s nice, polite, and even calls Yugi a “good little boy.” Yugi, of course gets indignant because he’s in High School, but he’s so short Shadii couldn’t infer that. Now, I know that’s not much evidence for his capability for niceness, but I take it anyway.

Okay, enough about Shadii and on to my history of anime guys. First love: Ryo Akiyama of Digimon Tamers. I’d heard about him before this, and was curious. He appeared in a surprising manner (especially to the people on the show), as the only person who had beaten tough girl Rika in the digimon card game and then he goes and saves her! Oh and when he smiled… To bad Rika didn’t appreciate it. *he he*

Next was Raven of Zoids. I first saw him in the episode in Guardian Force where he was in a trance-like state. In fact that was my first episode of Zoids ever! Oh the mystery. Who was he? What was that black robot-creature following him around? What was his relation to the two people watching him? And did this guy named Van know him from before? I so wanted to know! I found out the answers, and it became my favorite show for a while. I also still think that his descendent Vega Obscura (well, most people think he’s Raven descendent, including me) is the cutest kid in all seasons of the show!

Then it was Kurama of Yu Yu Hakasho. Or the Fox Boy, as I still think of him. He was once a demon thief known of Yoko Kurama, but in a desperate act was reborn as the human boy Suichi. Eventually he learned to transform back and forth between these two forms. Both are handsome beyond belief. (I call this sort of person a “double person.”

The next one is also a double person. His name is Bakura and he’s from Yu-Gi-Oh!. I first saw him on the episode where he, Yugi, Téa, and Honda (I call him Honda because I never can remember his dub name) were searching for Joey underground and Joey was trying to battle Bonz’s zombie monsters. Yea, the episode where the main gang gets “attacked” by skeletons. Lol. Funny! Anyway, he was just so cute that I fell in love with him then and there. His yami took a bit longer, however. I first pictured him as a terrifyingly evil person, but despite myself I began to look at his handsomeness. Or hotness, if you like to think of it that way.

I fell in love with Shadii the same time that I found the next one on the list, Android #16. That was when I bought my first Shonen Jump, when I was on vacation down in Cape Cod. I first saw them in Shonen Jump #8! (Somewhere in that trip, the front cover fell off. I’m gonna frame it someday.) Anyway, he was mysterious, a must have, and for a long while, I wrote on one of my classroom’s blackboard, “16 is the coolest android ever!” And he is.

The next was GT Trunks! I do prefer him to his time traveler counterpart. Future Trunks is just too angry for my tastes. Plus, there was a bit of mystery in just how he would be different from Future Trunks. Both of them are very handsome, but personality wise, I go with GT Trunxie. I first fell in love with him in the episode where he tells Pan and Goku about the plan he and Giru worked out. He was so smart! Ah, but that love has faded.

And that’s about it, I’m afraid. Well, that’s excepting my crushes, the two Goku and Vegeta fusions, for example.

Phew, that took a while.

Dragonball Z theory of eras.

Okay, this should be interesting, but I'm posting my theory anyway. Here goes.

I have this theory of eras in DBZ. Have anyone else noticed how DBZ is divided into three sections? The one with Freeza, the one with Cell, and the one with Buu? Well I call them eras. There's the Freeza era, the Cell era, and the Buu era. The Freeza era goes up the the defeat of Freeza. The Cell era goes from the Trunks saga to the end of the Cell Games. The Buu era is from the Other World Tournament saga to the end of DBZ.

The eras are seperated by the building up toward each big villan. (Freeza, Perfect Cell, and Kid Buu.) Each era ends with the defeat of the major villan of the era. There's only one problem. The Garlic Jr. saga doesn't belong in an era! Ahhhhh! That fusterates me!

   Well... First diary post ever!

I hope to post my fics here as I go along. My first fic I will post is a short one. I call my shorts "windows" because they are windows into another person's life. It is about Bardok of DBZ. (He's Goku's father.) It's set right after he died. Since it's short, it will be in only one part.

It was to the sound of crying that Bardock opened his eyes. ‘Who’s crying?’ he wondered. ‘And what’s going on here?’ Bardock collected himself and went over the last things he remembered. First, he had challenged Freeza to a fight. Then he had thrown a blast that comprised of all the energy he could gather, only to have it be absorbed by Freeza’s huge energy ball. After that, he himself had been absorbed by that orange orb. Then, he had gotten a vision of his son, Kakarot, facing off with Freeza. Finally, there had been an incredible pain. And now, this instead of the afterlife? That made no sense! And what made even less sense was that his armor and other clothes were intact up to his headband securely wrapped around his head; even his tail was curled around his waist. However absurd it seemed, that fact gave Bardock some limited comfort.

Bardock took in his new surroundings. He was in a teardrop-shaped room, with dark green painted walls with a dark blue ceiling and carpet. He could see no source of illumination, there was just a soft glow coming from all directions. In the one corner was a bed specially shaped for that angle. His eyes fell on the source of the crying. It was a teenage girl curled up on the bed in clothes the like of which Bardock had never seen before. And she definitely wasn’t Saiyan. Her hair was a deep, burnished red and she had no tail! ‘Come to think of it,’ Bardock recognized, ‘I’ve only seen her like in visions of my son’s future…’ “What’s going on here?” he wondered aloud.

With a gasp, the crying stopped. Bardock looked down at the girl as she looked up at him. Black eyes locked with hazel. The girl cocked her head, sniffed, and stammered, “H-how? Wh-why?”

As he did before with Freeza, Bardock once more went inside a person’s mind. ‘Inside her mind, the reason’s as clear as day!’ he thought, once again amazed at the power of mind-reading. ‘She created this place as a sanctuary but forgot a door. Now the danger is gone but she can’t get out. Overcome with loneliness, she cries without stopping. She just wants someone to comfort her!’ he realized.

The girl looked away and began to cry again. Bardock didn’t know the words to describe how she looked. Pitiful? No… Pathetic? Not that either… Miserable? Yes, that was it. That girl looked miserable. Something about her tugged at his heartstrings. Slowly, the heart that had never known anything but conquering planet after planet began to soften towards this girl.

Bardock slowly sat down on the edge of the bed and gently gathered the girl into his arms. She rested her head on his chest and her crying, little by little, began to stop. Bardock looked down at her and smiled slightly.

“My name is Cho,” she said, her voice cracking. She had an accent that Bardock didn’t recognize. “I am from Japan, but was adopted to an American family. I have two adopted sisters. One is older than I; she is Diamond, called Dia. The other one is a rescue case. She was found on the side of the road. No one knows who she really is, or where she came from, but we call her Ebony, for her glossy black hair. She is younger than I. I only want to see my family and friends again. I want to get out!” She began to cry again.

Bardock began to talk. “My name is Bardock. I am a Saiyan.” Bardock continued talking about himself until he had nothing else to say. Then they fell silent. Time passed.

A while later, Bardock was not sure how long, someone said, “Ahem.”

Bardock and Cho looked around. There, standing in the middle of the room, was a woman in a bright pink outfit with the words “Lost Souls Department” emblazoned on the chest in fluorescent orange. She glanced at a clipboard in her hand. “Now, then you, Cho, want to get back to your family and friends. And you, Bardock, want to get to your afterworld. Is that right?”

"Yes,” Cho confirmed.

“Excellent. I adore being correct,” the stranger said. “Now then, when you hear the gong –“

“Actually,” interrupted a voice, “the gong is being fixed after the gremlins got into it, last night. You’ve just been working overtime.”

“Oh, up-shut about overtime, will you?” she said, looking up at the ceiling. “What else do we have?”

A fife playing ‘Yankee Doodle.’”

“Yankee Doodle is an American folk song,” Cho murmured to Bardock.

“I’ll take it.” The woman looked back at them. “Ahem. When you hear the fife playing ‘Yankee Doodle,’ your desires will be granted.”

Bardock had a sudden vision of Cho sitting up suddenly in a bed, and knocking heads with a black haired girl. He smiled.

He was brought back to the present by a slightly shrill tune wafting through the air. Cho murmured, “Yankee Doodle came to town / riding on a pony. / Stuck a feather in his hat / and called it macaroni.” She smiled up at him. “Bye.” And she was gone. And then Bardock was gone too.

There. I do hope you like it. Comments please!
