In aproxmitely 4 hours...
...I will be in Boston prepairing for Con. That's Anime Boston, biggest convention in New England. I will be there until about 5 PM on Sunday. I will not be near a computer during that time (probably). Therefore, I will not be posting here. I will talk to you next week! (Probably.) For the Bad Composer Joke (that's two posts down) both Bach and Hyden are classical composers. Arnold Swartsanger(sp?), the govenator, says "back" like "Bach," especially in those Terminator movies. And "Hyden" is pronounced like "hidin'." So, yeah. Read the post below and comment on it, please. I worked hard on that poem.

Bruning letters for the Dead
Note: If you watch / care remotely about the anime/manga Death Note, and don't know what happens to L and Watari in episode 25 in the anime or chapter 50-something in the manga, you may just want to scan this. 'Cause it's a pretty big spoiler. The lighter was
intrictely carved.
Angels and devils
crosses and pentagrams
covered it. A young Watari
running along a hall.
He arives at the bahtroom
only to stop and stare. She flicks the top
up and down a few times,
then brings out
the sheaf of papers. Watari stares at
the guresome grin spread
across the girl's throat.
She reaches up a hand to touch it
and turnes to him,
a thousand questions
in her eyes.
Watari has no answers. Words cram the sheets
of simple lined paper.
As she burnes them,
she remembers the dead. She watched as Watari
got progressively older
while she stayed 17.
They slowly drifted apart. The mourners had already
left the graveyard.
She was alone
on the windy day.
The flame of the lighter
touched the corner
of the first sheet of paper. She remembered visiting
Watari's orphanage,
and meeting three young boys.
She especially liked
the one with the
"L" name.
(She could never remember it's full form.) She burns letters to those two boys
to the one she played with
and painfully watched grow old;
and the one she taught chess,
and many other things. She burnes letters
to the dead,
hoping that the paper's ashes
will reach them in heaven. *************** *sniff* Poor L and Watari.

A bad composer joke.
The Governator: I'll be Bach.
Cowardly Villan: And I'll be Hyden.

Light = pain; darkness = freedom
She loved the night.
Where she could walk the streets
and not be staired at,
not be whispered about,
nor have things thrown at her. Even the moon's
gentle glow
hurt her eyes,
especially when it was full. She loved the new moon.
Just the stars were out then.
She liked the stars.
They gave off just enough
light for her to see by
and made pretty patterns sometimes.
She liked to watch them
make their circut
around the sky
some nights.

For once
My eyes don't hurt. And I've been on for 1/2 hour. Nice. Must've been my relaxed morning. Nice relaxed morning when I don't have to be on campus until 11:15. My test went well. I was the first one done. It was a really short test.

A cappella is AWESOME!
Specifically Chapter 6, which played at the Silver Hall this Thursday. They sang Bohemian Rhapsody. They sang Bohemian Rhapsody. They sang Bohemian Rhapsody in six part harmony with choreographed moves. It was truly awesome. They also sang a love song to the Krispy Kream donut and a summary of the Wizard of Oz, complete with unenthusiastic Wicked Witch. "I'm melting." (Spoken in a bored, annoyed tone.) Awesome! Utterly totally awesome!

Tomorrow Never Comes.
Pretty knife.
Slice trough green flesh.
Gold blood, pretty blood.
Lick it, it tastes good. Patterns of scars.
Twisting patterns of scars.
Texture feels nice
beneath calloused fingers. Past is trapped
in the past.
Nothing can bring them back.
Keen to the air,
to the trees,
to the nervous village
in the tree tops. Loneliness is powerful.
What else can eat
at the soul
until one is just
an empty shell
of what one once was? Not interested in food.
When they put it beside the bed
slide it into the trash.
Instead, pick up the knife
and slide it through green flesh. ************ Yeah, this is about my character Kayo. Emo, isn't he?
