Spring break and a sick family

Yeah, I'm officially on spring break. And my family (except me!) is sick. It sucks being the only one relatively healthy. I have to refill my parents water bottles and measure out cough medicine for my brother.

Thank goodness I have not gotten searously sick since '01.

Current list of Things That Are Awesome

Saiyuki. (even my bro likes it!)
Japanese class. (only costing $20, yay!)
Having lunch with a bunch of buddies.
Keyblades with unexpected daggers in them. (I guy I know got one.)
Hour plus breaks between classes.
No Music reading this week.
Trips to Concord. (One of which is happening this afternoon. Yay!)
Dragons. (Well, duh.)
All the people in Anime and Gaming clubs at PSU. (Love you people!)

Fire alarms are so troublesome.

So I was comming up from D&M, where I have my Tai Chi class, right? I took a shortcut through Speare and came out to see a bunch of people standing around outside the HUB. I start to walk over and a lady tell me that I can't go in because there's been a fire drill. I'm like What the heck? I waited in Memorial until the let us in agian. There was a fire engin(sp?) on High street and everything. When the finally let us in, I smelled something smokey. Strange, ne?

Blindness has its advantages, part 1 smell.

Channer tapped his way along a bridge near the central hub of Treetop. He lifted his head and sniffed, then smiled as he smelled the scent of someone cooking mashed peas and squash along with elbow pasta with turnip sauce. He smiled, knowing that the prevaling wind on this bridge passed through his mother's kitchen. "Dinner will be wonderful tonight," he murmured to himself. Mashed peas and squash looked disgusting, according to his sister, but it was his favorite food.
