Should be dead

Lying there.
Arm and legs
at odd angles.
Wreckage all around.

Pain all through the body,
a constant ache,
with sharp jabs
whenever you try
to move.

Rescuers gathering.
'Finally...' you think.
"Hey hey!" one says.
"This one's sitll alive!"

An hour later
you are at the hostpital.
"You should be dead,"
they say.
"It's a marical."
'Or a curse,'
you think.
