Happy earth day!

Yeah, it's Earth Day. I went out to pick up trash earlier and found a ton of beer cans and bottles near the graveyard down the road. Some even had liquid still in them... Yeah, that graveyard must be a sorta big party spot. *shrug*

And I wrote a poem reciently. Here it is!

**********

Lesson

What do you see, child?
I see a dry desert, master.
It streches as far
as the eye can see.
Oh! There’s a village over there.
Is that where we’re going?

What do you see, child?
I see a forgotten village, master.
It’s obvious that no outsider
has visited for years.
Look how they stare!

What do you see, child?
I see a small shrine, master.
Look, here comes the priest.
Do you know him, master?
He’s certainly bowing low to you.

What do you see, child?
I see people coming stare at you.
They act like you’re a god,
which is impossible,
because you’re a person,
and you can’t be both, right?

What do you see, child?
I see your portrait over the altar.
It’s a pretty good likeness too.
Have you been here before, master?

What do you see, child?
I see people bringing
you flowers, master.
They call you their savior.
Oh, are these ones for me?

What have you learned, child?
That things people do
can have long ranging effects,
like sainthood, or something.
What did you do
for these people, anyway?
Make it rain or what?

Yeah, that's a lesson Desert Man taught his assistant Mishina. He's older than all the stars in the sky, btw. And to answer your question, ElvesAteMyRamen, the thing that was lifting from around Naruto was the time warp the boy put on him so that he would run out of energy. (I cannot fahtom how to spell... what Naruto calls cat-chra.)

Bye. *vanishes*
