The Quebec reoport, continued.
Day one, continued.
After setting up, dinner got under way. I ate a whole box of the Anne's pasta (the brand with the bunny), the white cheddar, shells, mac and cheese kind. 'Twas yummy. Me and Dad had dishes, and they got done in good time. Then I got changed and took a shower at the facilities up the road and went to bed. Day two, the first day in the city.
We decided early on that we were spending dat 2 in the city. So we drove over late that morning. After driving around for a bit, we found a nice parking garage. Parked there. Then we went to a info thing. The big question mark has saved us in French speeking Quebec many a time. *wise nod*
We decided to go to see a river over look and walk down the Governor's Walk (it's named something like that), a walk along the wall of the old city. We couldn't because it was under construction. Poo. So we had a snack, then went into the Cidadel and took a tour. That was the only english speaking tour we took all vacation...
So then we walked down to the Funiclar. (It's like an elevator that brings you down to the lower old city.) We had lunch in a italian restruant on the way there. In the square before the funiclar thing we got to see some rad street preformers in front of
We got rained on in the lower old city, so we had to end our window brousing early. But not before I got to buy a nice t-shirt and a Year of the Dragon pendant. Hee hee.
So then we went back to the camp site, ate dinner, and went to sleep. To be continued!
