   A lil ELP backround...
in the golen age of rock there were great many extraordinary bands.bursting out in a great british scene in the post-Beatle era came an army of emancipated musicians, free to expirement with a seemingly infinate choice of ideas.
Amidtst a roar of drums, organs, and guitars...clouds of smoke...flashing lights and frenzing applause...came the most ecxiting and progressive band of all...Emerson Lake and Palmer.
In torrential outbursts and energy ELP played everything from heavy metal symphonies to jazz, ballads of boogie woogie, the classics of rock'n'roll.
ELP's vast bodies of work encompassed an extraordinary range of ideas and treatments from the simple beauty of "Lucky Man" to the violent mayhem of "Karn Evil 9" and the symphonic majesty of "Pictures At An Exhibition".
ELP are Keith Emerson, gifted pianist and pioneer of the Moog Synthisizer;Greg Lake, master singer, bass player and guitarist with a penchant of melody; and Carl Palmer, one of the most dynamic and spectacular drummers in rock.
Keith, Greg, and Carl...they were the pole winners, the gifted young lions of popular music, eager for any challenge, not afraid to push foward the fronteers of music.
