   Freezing Rain and Clumsiness
Ok. So it finally got cold in Waco, TX. We had freezing rain this morning, as well as most of the day. I walked all the way to work. On the way, there's an overpass I have to walk under, and a set of steps that go up a hill to the museum I work at. There was a huge puddle near the bottom of the steps, so I stepped on the sloping concrete retaining wall to get around it. Riiiight. So, my Sambas (indoor soccer shoes) slipped on the frozen wet concrete and I went down like a felled tree. Wham! Now, I have a brushburn from the inside of my jeans, and that's on top of the biggest bruise I've ever seen. Yay!!!!!!

On a happy note, I have a ride to work tomorrow. People pity you when you're a clumsy moron!

   My life is in danger (Feh.)
I have just recieved my first death threat!!!! I feel special. I'm corrupting the youth of the world...*grins*...through fanfiction.net.

Mwahahahaha!

So, here's the deal: That stupid story I wrote while I was completely bored the other day, the one about the ninjas in Konoha playing quarter-bounce and "bullshit"...well, apparently a 14-year-old decided to tell me that if his 8-year-old brother reads it, it will "kill his innocence", and then he'd kill me! OOOoooooOOOOh. I'm really scared.

Now, I did give warnings in the stupid notes at the beginning of the stupid story so that stupid people could know if they wanted to bloody-well read it or not. I mean, there's bad language (not too much), mention of nudity, and LOTS of alcahol. All of those warnings, along with out of character warnings, are at the beginning, as well as in the summary. So, I ask you, what's an eight year old kid doing reading stories that are rated for teens?

Meh. I guess I ought to re-think my approach. I can't really rate it any higher, because I dont give gory detail of anything of a sexual nature. Now, blood, that's another story.

How's this for an idea: Shikamaru, the evil genius. I know. He's too lazy for that. But what if that's just a cover for his evil schemes? It would be set in another universe, though. I'm thinking...Frankenstein!

ACK! More fangirls!
Now I know how some of the guys feel. I don't seem to have but the one fanboy (sigh). They're all girls. I feel like I'm in the middle of a yuri manga!!!

(God forbid...eeew...find a happy place!)

Anyhow, In the past 24 hours, I think I got...8 reviews on one story, and 3 dispersed among others. I am so procrastinating again. But I guess that's ok. I am doing a little work, too.

I wrote 2 more stories.

Shinobi Drinking Games! is the first. Well, the title kind of says it all, right? It's rather silly, kind of a crackfic, as if you can't tell. Why else would the Hokage go to a drink-all-night party with a bunch of lower nins?

The other one really doesn't have a title. It's about a girl named Natsumi, who's friends with Ino. She was, until a week before the beginning, dating Aoi (guy from later series non-manga story arc). He broke up with her in a way that might seem familiar to those who know me. She gets a call from him, and he's coming over to her apartment. EEk! She calls another friend, Kakashi. He comes over for moral support and scares Aoi off...sort of. Anyhow, I think that those two are total crackfics, and there's no way that they're serious, or have anything to do with anything else!!!!

I love doing crazy things to their personalities (although Kakashi is right on, in the second story, which I've decided just now to call "Scared, Are You?" after a song by Better Than Ezra)

   Just read newer chapters of Naruto...SPOILERS...maybe :)
Well, I just finished reading the newer chapters that I could get my hands on...They're decent. Most of them are just showing what people are like now after the three year period. I got to see what Kiba/Akamaru, Ino, Shino, Hinata, Chouji, and Shikamaru look like now. Also, there was a scene where Gai gave Kakashi a piggy-back ride...Everyone was saying things like "Now, that's just wrong!" and the like. I agree. Gai is sometimes creepy in his "rivalry" with Kakashi. Lee offered his back to Neji because he thought it was a kind of training...*gag*

Anyhow, the kids look great. Ino's outfit is...revealing, and Hinata's hair is long and pretty. Of course, Akamaru isn't a puppy anymore. Kiba rode on his back! Naruto didn't recognize Shino--he had more of his face covered, and a hood on--and Shino got sulky because he recognized his teammates, but not him.

There's a few new characters, but I'm not gonna talk about those, because that really would be a spoiler. Suffice it to say that team Kakashi's having more internal problems than when Sasuke was with them.

All in all, I'm starting to like Shizune a lot more, and Sakura's a little scary so I wouldn't piss her off, but that's nothing new, really. Tsunade's living up to the Hokage name, from what I've seen.

I guess that's about it.

   Nothing good ever happens on my birthday
I was just looking stuff up on what happened on my birthday, March 11, throughout history. Last year, there were those bombings in Madrid, back in the day, the permanent constitution of the Confederacy was signed, and in 1985, Gorbachev became leader of Russia (this wasn't such a bad thing, but Russia still didn't like us at that point). I'm waiting for my next birthday...

It's like I'm waiting to be walking down the street, and someone will drop a piano on my head like in the cartoons.

   Catcalls...meh.
I can honestly say that until today, I have never had anyone seriously yell catcalls at me. But this afternoon, when I had just gotten done with classes, I was walking with one of the Barbies, Meghan. I was about to go my own way, and then I hear "Hey, ladies!" There were various other things said, and then one of the soccer-playing morons mooned us. It was something neither of us wanted to see, and I said rather loudly, "I have to go home and vomit now."

I guess I have everything happen to me later in life than most people.

Neji/Hinata
Oh, on the topic of Neji/Hinata as a couple, I just wanna say that I got the idea from someone else, and it wouldn't leave me alone. If you want to see where I got it from, read 'The Logical Conclusion' by scented candles on www.fanfiction.net.

It's a very good story, and it's really sweet. I just wanted to say that I'm not completely to blame.

Crap.
Crap, crap, crap. I'm sorry. I was supposed to say what I was going to do for Triptophan Overdose Day...

Plans: to go to my mom and dad's, work on my presentation, and see family, then go to Baton Rouge and see friends. I did those things, but I got no sleep, and in the morning, I'll be leaving to go back to Waco.

Yippee!!!

I can't wait for this all to be over.
