   Hmm.
Ok. So you've commented that Neji and Hinata together is gross? Oh, well. I don't think it's that bad, considering some of the other things I've read. Besides, I wanted to make some happiness for the both of them. They never really seem to be happy.

Some of the other stuff is a little strange, I'll freely admit, but you know, It isn't that bad. I think it's totally funny.

Making people do things out of character can be fun.

Should have been in bed HOURS ago, but...
I was, of course, writing. Not school stuff like I should be. It's just another Naruto Fanfic. This one is proving troublesome. It's huge. Really. There are just way too many characters. It's a dark romantic story, with tragic elements, and there are five couples involved. So far, in MS Word, it's 45 pages. I know. That's insane. But I can't stop. I'm an addict. It's just way too fun to take someone else's characters and make them do whatever you want.

For instance: Sasuke killed Orochimaru, and Sakura. Naruto is in love with a girl who looks just like Sakura. Kakashi gets wasted and sleeps with Kurenai (also wasted, but not so much as he was), Ino is pregnant with Itachi's kid (he's not a heartless bastard in this...reformed), Hinata and Neji are now engaged--really touching when it happened--and after Sasuke gets captured and undergoes torture and starvation he's kinda getting friendly with Shizune.

Yay for making people do things they NEVER would do!!! Oh, and If you wanna know, it's actually really funny having Sasuke find out he's going to be an uncle. His reaction is hilarious.

Also, I posted a story about Kakashi's hentai getting stolen and his search for it. I dunno if I already told you guys. Ack. I'm having problems remembering things.

   getting flamed is funny.
It is, really. I just got my first flame today. Apparently, the person didn't read the Author's Note at the beginning, that had a warning in it about content. Oh, well. I guess that I should do the whole weeping and gnashing of teeth thing, but I'm so totally over it.

I care not one bit. If it had been constructive criticism, that would be one thing. But I feel that I stuck to the person's character and everything. So, "red golf ball," whoever you are, learn to read content warnings before you read a story, and next time you won't be so shocked. And in closing, you suck.

Hear that maniacally delerious laughter? It's me...
That's right. I have that exam tomorrow, and I'm unprepared. I am so utterly not studying right now, either. Notecards? I should be making them. I'm not really up to concentrating, though. Thanks for the comments on footnotes, guys. I'll most likely ask greg about them, so that I don't come off as a total doofus.

Anyhow, I gotta buckle down and try to study now.

   It's not late...it's early.
It's about 3:30am, and I'm tired. I just emailed my paper to my reviewer, and I'll hopefully be getting comments back tomorrow. That means I'm free for now to study for my exam, but I'm too tired. Now, I need sleep.

Oh, and the title of the post is actually lyrics from a Spin Doctors song, where they guy is up until 4:30 in the morning. He's trying to justify staying up further by saying that it's not late, it's early. I guess it's one of those optomist vs. pessimist things.

Oh, well. I went to the library today and got an ass-load of books on Art Nouveau. I am not really even sure what I'm doing my paper on, only that I want to do it on something Art Nouveau and something Arts and Crafts. 15 pages, with footnotes, and a presentation. Um, anyone ever do footnotes before? I never have.

Freaking,

   Ah, fluff!
Welcome, everyone. I am apparently now a writer of wonderful fluffiness. No, I don't mean that I write stories about Sesshomaru. I mean that I write stories that really make you go "Aww." Or, at least that's what people tell me. One of my stories has now been called fluffy goodness by one person and "inspiring" by another.

At the moment, I'm finishing up a Hinata-Kiba fluff. I didn't really think of the two of them together, but I guess that it would fit, since he's protective of her, and all. It's from Kiba's point of view, mostly, with little bits of Hinata in there, too. I'm not as happy with it as the Shikamaru story, but it's shaping up to be really cute. Kiba is a good character. He's loud, obnoxious, and a troublemaker. Hinata is exactly the oposite, but I make her slightly silly in the story, just for fun.

Kiba has a crisis of conscience because of circumstances relating to Hinata's birthday party, and wonderful fluffiness ensues!!!

It will be, in essence, fluff, but completely lemon free!!! Sometimes, having to take a cold shower after reading something is a bad thing.

   I have a fanboy, too!
I have a German fanboy!!!!! He's nice. No fan art from this guy, but he wrote a pretty steamy fic that's got Temari and Shikamaru fighting and then um, well, I'm too lady-like to actually describe it. Anyway, I have a fanboy. Does German fanboy trump Brazilian fanboy?

   I feel loved.
I got emails from two people saying that they missed me, and a couple of people asked me repeatedly when I'll be back in Baton Rouge (where I used to live before moving to the bowels of hell...I mean Waco). One person sent me a three word email. It just said "I miss you." Awwww. I was so surprised, since he had not emailed me in a VERY long time.

And here, I was thinking that people had totally forgotten about me!

I guess that right when you think no one really cares about you, and that you've sunk as low as you can with freaky old guys coming onto you at all hours of the night in hotels, your friends surprise you and let you know how much they miss you.

One person even said that there was a serious lacking of "April-ness," though what that means, I have no clue, but he's wierd anyhow. I owe him a major noogie for previous offenses, anyway, and I'll enjoy collecting it on Friday after next!

I'm super-excited. I'll get to see my friends for the first time in about six months! Happy, happy. Oh, and Sam, I'll see what can be done about getting you to BR, or me swinging by or some such on my way back.

ja,

   Freaky bastard in Florida...
Ok. So I went to my boyfriend's graduation from Officer Candidate School in Pensacola. It was a nice ceremony, blah-blah-blah. I met a Rear Admiral, a couple of Commanders, and a reallllllly gruff Gunnery Sergent, oddly enough named Fowler (I have a friend John with the last name. AKA, GOD).

But that is not the matter for which I rant.

Ok. First, let me say that I had not seen my boyfriend, Eric for...nearly five and half months. So you can imagine what we did when we were alone. Now. Apparently there was a bit of a noise problem because of this...someone knocked on the door. Loud. Ok, ok. We shut up. (this, by the way, is around 9pm)

I wake up at 11pm, the phone ringing. I answer.

me: hello?
caller: hi.
me: who is this?
caller: Gary. I'm in the room next door. Who is this?
me: This is April. what time is it?
Gary: 11 o'clock
me: what do you want?
Gary: hold on...

*Knock at the door

I get up, groaning. Eric at this point is freaking out. I get to the door before he is even out of the bed.

I answer the door (creeeeak).
me: yes?
Gary: uh, I couldn't help but notice that you were...preoccupied earlier.
me:...
Gary: Well, I was wondering. Were you alone?
me: (rising embarrassment, indignation, and all-too-late prudish behavior) NO, I wasn't alone! I think you need to leave.

*SLAMS AND LOCKS DOOR

~through door

Gary: April!
me: WHAT?!
Gary: Can you please open the door?
me: NO, I'M NOT OPENING THE DOOR, NOW GO AWAY!

*walks to bed, sits down...freaks out bigtime...eeeew. He was like...50

Eric goes to the door and gets rid of the guy. So. The conclusion that I draw from this: the guy wanted to know if I had been alone, so that he could join in on the fun. I also draw the conclusion that it was him who knocked on the door, and that his reason was not to make us quiet down, but to see if he could participate.

FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEONE, PLEASE, TELL ME WHO THE HELL DOES THAT SHIT????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

   erm...
Ok. So I don't have a brazilian fanboy. However, I do have a completely non-storyline all fluff, gooey and wonderful Shikamaru romantic story. He's one of my favorites, and I figured I would horrify him terribly by subjecting him to the affections of two rather violent women in the same story. One is just for fun, and the other is for that wonderful little "AWWWWW..." feeling you get when you read something really sweet and fluffy. So, if you're scared of reading 'A Cloud for Konoha' because it might have spoilers for you, then you should read 'Lilies' instead. It is really cute, and I think you'd enjoy it.

There. Now go and read the wonderful fluffiness.
